Okay, I *STILL* have not received Spike yet. If he was really sent out at the end of week before last, then even with slow ground shipping he should have been here by now. But as he is supposed to just ship in the little mailer box, he's wayyy over due. Has anyone else gotten theirs yet?
Just checking before I bug DST yet again.

Cool, glad other people have gotten him, bt I was referring specifically to those who had not yet received him from DST but had received the email week before last stating he had finally shipped. Have any of you gotten your Spike yet? I still haven't gotten mine, or any of the contest prizes either. I'm paranoid someone is stealing my mail!

I still haven't gotten him either. This seems really slow, even for standard USPS shipping.

I still havent gotten mine. I emailed Matt about it at DST he had previously said He would send when they got more in, but now he is not responding to my email at all :-(
I am upset because this was my first order with DST directly and I ordered like 80.00 worth, just to get the figure.
I will stick to time and space from now on or BCC.

Remember that Toy Fair is this weekend, I would imagin that Matt is pretty busy right now, along with everyone else at DST, especially those involved with marketing and customer relationship.

Okay, obviously it sucks that he STILL hasn't shipped despite what they said, but releived it isn't just me. Well, at least about Soike. I wonder what happened? My email was from Chris and he had said that my Spike did indeed ship "late last week" (his email was dated Jan 31). So allowing for even 3 days for that, it's been 2 weeks. So something must have happened (either he was mistaken, given incorrect info, was being over optimistic on shipping, or someone hijacked the shipment and we'll see a glut of Promo Spikes on eBay.
Regardless, it has taken a crazy amount of time to get a small plastic action figure in the mail! Of course it's even crazier to be so excited about it and impatient to get him, but hey, I never claimed to be like a normal person or anything. <grin>

I got mine today!!! Finally, I think this is the longest I ever waited for an action figure before! He's worth the wait thank goodness - a really done figure and if ever there was a variant that made sense, Spike with the Slayer's Coat as a variant of Fool For Love Spike certainly takes the O Pos for best variant! (or maybe Best Variant isn't what I mean necessarily...but short of FFL Spike having a double set of removeable arms (bare and Leather Jacket varieties) and the coat itself of course as an accessory (which now that I think about it - that really would have been incredibly cool! I wonder if DST will ever do such a thing in any line other than the Deluxe's?). Anyway, he's a way cool looking figure. And consider that I have every DST figure except FFL Spike and House...Wins Lorne, he's doubly interesting to me! :-) (and that's of course every figure that's available by ordering without paying a fortune on eBay, so no Holiday Willow, etc). :-)

ATXBLA - definitely email them again. I emailed them literally 5-6 times since December. The first 3 or so didn't get a response, but finally I did get a response and they were extremely nice. Chris is who emailed me most recently and he reassured me that I wasn't being a pest (something I was worried about!) and that I was simply letting them know I hadn't gotten my figure. So I'd definitely email them - I also included my order numbers that added up to the $70 minimum to get him, just in case that would save some time. I think I recall him saying a batch they got had a lot of broken ones or something, so I think they were really behind in getting him out as they wanted to wait for shipments of an apparently more robust version that wouldn't break as easily. My version is absolute top quality and I love him!!! He even comes with the railway car metal tube as an accessory which I didn't think he came with any, so that was an added happy little bonus. Also, mine was delayed an extra day or so as my work address where I had him shipped has to go thru University mail sorting before it gets to our offices. So I'd think you should definitely have gotten yours by now.
Anyway, definitely let them know - their email is: customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com

I got my Spike in the mail today!!! After sending a couple more e-mails I got a response last Thursday saying one would be sent that day. And today I received him! YAY! I have to say he is a cooler figure than I thought! I am just so happy to finally be able to add him to my collection!
