I can't believe no one wants a Sarah Jane! :-)

I would kill for a Sarah Jane, I just don't think it would ever happen! This seems to be a kid-dirven toyline, rather than an adult-driven collectors line, so I think they'll probably stay away form the more human looking characters. I'm really hoping for a Mickey tho, I think he's an essential!

Mickey's definitely in the plans, along with Jack. (No sign of Jackie though...)

She looks good, but I prefer the look of the first one, even if she can only be in a limited number of poses. This new one reminds me of the Willow figures, it's that pose. Her shoulder's seem a little off to me though, too... high? It may have been the angle it was filmed at though: That or her neck's too short.

I love that Rose, the outfit is much nice than the one released.
Does the company which makes them have a website, if so what is it?

character-online.com/I picked up the Sycorax Leader and the Coat-less Doctor today. They look good, but the Sycorax Leader's legs look too short, in comparison to the head. He looks a little disproportional to me.

Ahh!!! I love it!!! A commercial for Doctor Who action figures!!! If my 14 year old self could have seen these back when I was 14, I would have just...well, been extremely happy and jumping for joy!!! I remember tearing up Star Wars figures trying desperatly to make Dr. Who figures. I'm so glad they have these now!!!!
I like both Rose's - and it's good they have her represented in both phases of her travels with the Doc. And the TARDIS that's featured - is that the forthcoming "real" toy TARDIS or the bank (if anyone knows)? Just wondering if it's the toy for the figures since they don't show the doors opening or anything. Also, I think Character Options' Web Site is kind of disappointing - they don't show the entire line at all - they should have every figure made and the Tardis/ Interior and Police Box Outer Plasmic Shell <grin> and anything else, and even a "group shot" since these always make me want to buy every figure featured and recreate the group shot (a marketing tool that is always under-exploited with today's toy vendors - I wonder why???). :-)
Wow, I have to collect all these!!! WHat is it about action figures that just makes me giddy with excitement? :-) :-) :-)

I have 3 Diffrent Conclusions to the rose figure!
On a Forum Charecter Options (the Makers) Suposedly said that the Rose will be Updated with the K9 Set, with Wave 3.
It will be an exclusive figure with the tardis playset.
But I emailed Charecter Options and they said, Series 2 Rose will be released in Wave 3, Along with 2 Cyberman a Wearwolf and a Krilltain.
Its Probally going to be the 3rd Option, because Charecter actually emailed ME!
I cant wait!

Just received this from Character, thought I'd post!
And now for a little spoilery discussion... just highlight the text.I'm really worried... I think Mickey is gonna die this week! The summary on Outpost Gallifrey says "will they all survive", and Noel Clarke is not credited in any more episodes this season... whereas Camille Coduri is... so its unusual to have Jackie without Mickey is it not? Either he'll die, or Ricky will die and Mickey will stay in the parallel universe with his Gran who isn't dead... hmm

I can't wait for a Tardis (console room as well, but mainly the Police Box). I'm actually extremely surprised they didn't release the TARDIS Police Box with the first series. And Capt Oates - as for the spoiler - I've been thinking the same thing will happen. I guess we'll know tomorrow evening - can't wait to the see the Age of Steel!!!

I rec'd my Rose and K-9 2 pack coutesy of a transatlantic trade (thanks again Paul!) and they are fantastic!!! So now I have the 9th Doctor, 10th Doc (both from the Regeneration 2 Pack) and now Rose and K-9! I'm currently using my Dapol Police Box TARDIS until Character Options's version is available and tho a tight squeeze, they fit well enough to carry them around in. My little collection of Who Action Figures is well under way!!!
As for the Rose and K9 figures, they are great! Rose looks like Billie Piper - the only sort of bad thing I can say is that her neck is a little thick or perhaps angled weird, but it's not a huge problem as her hair almost hides it. And the articulation isn't nearly as bad as had feared - I thought I had read she couldn't move her arms or legs or something, but her amrs move at the shoulders and swivel at the elbows giving a surprising range of poses, her waist turns and her legs turn at the hips. All in not bad at all, and as I said, certainly resembles Billie Piper.
K-9 especially sets new highs for Action Figure standards - and they did so much better than Dapol's (which I always throught was the best Dapol figure ever, even though the lack of a back button panel (even a sticker would have been okay) and no tartan collar was semi-disappointing). Character Options' K9 has the same pull back and go feature (minus the "bobbing head and waggling tail" action which Dapol's had and was cute). But in his place is an even more accurate sculpt, a side panel that pops off when you depress the panel on his back (and yes, they have the proper layout of buttons sculpted and painted) as well as his collar being painted as well. He also has the same rust we saw in "School Reunion" which may big som epeople, though I suppose they could get away with a "clean" version to resemble ...Spoiler Ahead, don't read ahead if you don't want to know...
a clean version to resemble K9 MIV at the end! As soon as I can find my Dapol K9 I'll post pics. I can't believe I misplaced him!

Cool!!!!! Chip was Cassandra's henchman right? The Cyberman looks cool...tho I was hoping they'd release a 5" scale Dalek with no remote electronics, maybe just the pull back and go feature like K9. I'm having trouble find the Daleks - did they release a single 5" Dalek by itself or are they only available in the Battle Packs?
Finally, has anyone found any US Retailer carry them so we don't get hit with the high prices for overseas shipping, etc? Now that Buffy wave 7 is out, I'm going to go broke from buying Action Figures! haha!

Sweet! We needed Captain Jack!
I got Rose yesterday from Forbidden Planet. I'd actually tried to cancel the order because when it went through, there was no shipping charge listed. But I guess it went through anyway. I checked my credit card statement after I opened the box, Rose cost me around $12.99, with shipping around $7 or $8. I'm REALLY glad this worked out alright in the end, considering how much Rose is going for on eBay right now. She seems to be out of stock now, but the Regeneration set is back in stock for £9.99, and I think I'm going to get it while the getting's good, since I can't seem to do better anywhere else.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here!
Got to say, loving this season of Doctor Who as much as the last, and really looking forward to the big finale on Saturday.
I have managed to get hold of the new Cyberman figure, Cassandra and Chip and the 12" David Tennant.
I did giggle like I was ten years old again when I ripped the Cyberman off the card to go with my other Who figs. Perhaps I should grow up! Although it's not really apparent why they chose to bring out Cassandra and Chip as a new set, I have to say that I love his expressive slumped shoulders.
The 10th Doctor 12" I was a little disappointed by. Perhaps it's because I've been spoiled by the likes of Sideshow and Product Enterprises output. It's a pity he didn't come with the coat that it was originally pictured wit on the Jonathon Ross show.
Now, what do I chuck out to find room for the TARDIS console room playst...

Peacock - can you post pics of your collection? Id din't realize the Cybermen figures were actually out out yet! I'm glad tho - I'll have to find them now! Is the 2nd series Rose available yet, did you happen to see her when you got your new figures?
Thanks for any pics/info! :-) Newton (US Doctor Who fan who wishes for a US distributor for the figures!). :-)
