Doesn't help me, since I'm on the other side of the country, but maybe someone in NY who's after these might be in luck there.

I ordered the 9th & 10Th Doctors Regeneration 2 Pack from deadparrottdiscs.com /DoctorWhoAmerica for $25.95. They have the 10th Doctor figur for $12. Sadly no Rose/K9, except as part of a "First Wave" figure package for $145 I think. Of course I want Rose for Rose, but I had never considered her as a basis for a Buffy custom. I wonder wht her exact Mesaurements are? Afterall, Buffy may b 6" scale, but Buffy herself is usually around 5.5" tall (the Deluxes were taller of course, about 5.75"). I'll have to measure my Docs when I get them, and if/when I get Rose I'll do the same for her. Hopfully won't be long beforeI can find one (that isn't priced out of reach, especially with all the new Buffys and Dawns, et al coming!). :-)
Also, anyone happen to have both the new K9 and the old Dapol version? Could you post a pic of them side by side? Curious of the scale differences (I have the old Dapol line, and can I just say scale was hit and miss with that line - Melanie was taller than the Cybermen and most of the Docs (excet the 3rd who was ridiclously huge - we're talkin Fred-esque problems here!). At least hoping my TARDIS will work okay with the new line since they don't seem to have made one (tho an interior is coming up - and maybe thenew TARDIS bank is it?).
Anyway, cool to see there are some Buffyverse Whovians other than me (or is that Whoniverse Buffians? <grin>). After reading the comments from Russell T Davies about how the Buffy character affected Rose's development and even the style of the new WHO series to n extent, it's cool to see some cross-appeal going on. ANd who knows (heh heh) - maybe by the time this series of WHO finishes up, the Buffy spin off/continuation will be ready! Strange how most of my childhood loves havebeen renewed/redone, so hope it goes on forever! :-) :-)

The new K-9 is a little bigger than the old Dapol one, he's taller and thinner... I'll take some pics when I'm home next week if nobody beats me to it.

Oh yes, Please take pics Capt Oates!!! :-) (Or someone else if you want - as he said, t beat him to it). A question tho - on one of the first couple pages someone has a DT/10th Doctor posed with some of the Dapol Figurea and he's huge in comparison. Is that the regular 5" scale Doc? I though Dapol was 4" or so, but that 1oth Doctor looks like he's maybe a 7" range. Just wondering - I had hoped they'd be somewhat compatible - another reason I wanted to see the K-9's. I had at least hoped my Dapol TARDIS would be useable since it doesn't appear Character Options has made a TARDIS (Police Box anyway) or at least not that I can find (found a bank, but not a figure Tardis). Does anyone have a link to all the figures made, including the wave 3 that's coming out?
Wow, I thought I'd never get excited over action figs other than Buffy or Angel - but I can honestly say I'm looking forward to collecting these almost as much as the new Buffy figures!!! And here's hoping this latest Who incarnation (or series rather) has at least a 5 year run if not much much longer - and Character Options is producing some incredible stuff - FINALLY Doctor Who has some real, quality Action Figures (Dapol's stuff was...it left a lot to be desired, like quality, scale, range of figures, etc.
Sorry for all the ?'s - but one last one - does anyone know if Character Options can produce items from the old series? I'd so very much love to have a figure of every Doc and at least one or 2 of that Doc's companions not to mention a healthly sampling of villains from that era for each as well! Of course I can see the 8th Doc being problematic due to licensing *even* if Character Options has the original Series license...would it not be ultra cool if they did a "2 Doctors" style episode with the 8th and 10th Doctors - so we'd have a proper series episode of the 8th Doc? I'd love that!!!

The Character Options figures are called 5", but the 10th Doc measures at 14cm against my ruler, which makes him verging on 6", ... the Sycorax and the Slitheen are the same height as him, but Rose is smaller. The figures released so far: Tenth Doctor with Coat Tenth Doctor without Coat Rose with K9 Sycorax Leader Slitheen Cassandra Moxx of Balhoon 9th/10th Doctor Regeneration 2-pack 9th Doctor w/ Daleks battle back Rose w/Daleks battle back Individual remote control Daleks 10th Doctor w/remote control k-9 Definitely coming soon are Captain Jack and some Cybermen, and rumoured are a Krillitane and the Werewofl, but I'm trying to find confirmation on those. There's also a 12" 10th Doc and Cyberman coming soon too. As for the TARDIS, you're in luck, that's coming soon too! There used to be a proper picture here... but its been blacked out! There's a pic in Doctor Who magazine tho, I'll try and scan it. www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_1165_1707_1710&products_id=12410 it looks very cool. Hope some of that helps!! Oh and no, Character Options do not have a liscence for the old series... new stuff only. Product Enterprises holds the old series liscence... they're putting out a 12" 4th Doctor and Cyberman soon... but no small-scale figures. But I'd love it if CO could snag the old liscence and put out a boxset or something of all 10 Doctors, that would be amazing!

Illyrobin you rock!!! I had seen that pic once and like an idiot didn't save it - it look sfantastic! I had been trying to track down an Old Dapol Tardis interior (even the original 5 sided console - but doesn't seem like anyone is selling those!) but this is incredibly cool!
And CaptOates - thanks for the info! I too had read that the Werewold and Krillitane figures are also coming, and just read the rumor about a Capt Jack figure too. When you say a Tardis toy is coming for the figures - do you mean just the Console Room or an actual Police Box too? Everything I've seen about the console room seems to indicate it somehow connects with the Tards bank - but perhaps I'm misunderstanding (maybe it's just in scale with it?) as the bank has a interior backdrop showing the 9th Doc and Rose - not lending itself to action Figure play! :-) And thanks for the measurements on the 10th Doc figure. Supposedly my Regeneration 2 Pack will be here Monday - I can't wait!!! And I'll take some pics if anyone is interested - I'll try to find my Dapol Figures too.

Well the Forbidden Planet website says it connects to the money box yeah, but I can't really see how... as you said, that has its own interior... and the playset shown has its own exterior TARDIS doors on the front... so who knows! I guess we'll just have to wait and see The Dapol console is a little small for the current figures... I'll take some pics of them with that too hehe

After warching saturdays episode i really want a Madame du Pompadour figure but with the extras they seem to be only making monsters which i'm not too bothered about. Oh well

Maybe we could hope for a clockwork robot? That would be quite nifty.

I can understand making monsters - more immediately visual and better figures for kids - and I rather wish DST would make some... but I'd love a Madame du Pompadour figure. And so would Sophia Myles, who played her.

I definitely agree with you guys that Madame du Pompadour would make an excellent figure. Really elegant, and really hot But like CaptainOates quite rightly said, it would hardly be surprising to see a clockwork robot being produced instead (God, how terrifying would that be!). I guess we'll have to wait and see. Does anyone know how well the first series has sold?
