I'd be interested to know more. Half of me wishes the figures are 3¾" scale, half wishes they're 6" scale. Too bad there's no Eccleston Doctor figure. If these are made well enough, I'm hoping for previous Doctors and characters...

Hmm. News to me. This Christmas we had roughly 3¾" scale Eccleston Doctor and Rose figures, only available in a boxed set with the remote control Daleks, and the pretty good 12" likeness of Eccleston and a Slitheen as... walkie-talkies. An actual range of figures would be rather nice.
Clicking through, it says they're 5" scale. Which is just odd.

There's also going to be a TARDIS playset!
As well as remote control K9 and Dalek in a 5" scale

5" scale... can't think of very many. The Underworld line were five-inchers. And a bit of an update. Iron Cow's Matt found a picture of the now-traditional unveiling of the 12" figure to the new Doctor by Jonathan Ross, here. He looks... kind of nervous...

The Doctor's head looks a bit too big.
(Which works for me, as I want a 6" version! Mwahahahaha!)
And a bit startled.
Other than that, they look pretty good, apart from the Slitheen, which was a pretty figure-unfriendly design anyway. We'll see in a week or so, though.

Slitheen were baddies, so it makes sense for them to look unfriendly lol 6" custom would be easy, I might try and make one

I hadn't seen any pics of Tennant as the Doctor, except for his regeneration. But... is that his normal outfit? It's just kind of blah compared to previous Doctors. Too normal-looking, I guess. Not that the first or second Doctor looked weird... I don't know... I just need to get into bed maybe

Relatively normal dress sense is a feature of the revival Doctors. Indeed, the white Converses are more eccentric than anything in Christopher Eccleston's ensemble.

These are actually really good! I thought they'd be really cheap and tacky figures but they have taken time and given them good likenesses, (hopefull rose will be just as good!).
Cassandra is kinda pointless tho', I can see her collecting dust in the corner of my local forbidden planet store. I kinda wanna figure of Chris.E tho'.

The Christmas Invasion was David Tennant's first full story as the Doctor, an hour-long special featuring the Sycorax, broadcast on BBC1 at primetime on Christmas Day. In terms of audience share, that's like the show after the Superbowl in the US. It's that big.
