At the request of Jinxieman and the fact that the Doctor Who toys thread overfloweth with episode discussion.
aaaaaand go!
If you are going to post information on a new episode that has not yet been shown outside the UK (I.E. "The Doctor's Daughter") please give a spoiler alert in red followed by the spoiler in white so it can only be seen when highlighted, like this:
SPOILER ALERT for "The Doctor's Daughter" I thought Jenny was a pretty cool character. I think that what happened at the end was that since she had only been alive 2 hours it was like the Doctor being regenerated, so within the first 48 hours they can regenerate parts/heal. So where the 10th Doctor regenerated a hand when it was cut of by the Sycorax, maybe Jenny regnerated one of hearts that got hit by the bullet.
Please note that white text is not an option in the 'colors' pull down menu, but if you pick any other color then manually type in 'white' in place of whatever color you picked it will work.

Thanks Chaos...Now if know if I come into this thread and read a Spoiler...even on acident...it really is my fault and I cannot blame anyone else. I just watched Planed of the Ood again. I have to say that, although it was interesting to see the origins of the enslavement of the Ood and the episode had some fun moments, I found it rather underwhelming...at least compared to the other episodes this season. I thought it was interesting that an Ood starts out with the "frontal lobe" of it's brain in it's hands and the company cuts it off to make them slaves. I'm really looking forward to the next two episodes. I'm a fan of Martha and I'm happy that she will be back for the next few episodes. I'm trying to like Donna but she has not grown on me yet, I liked her in Partners in Crime and thought I was going to keep liking her but she has been a little naggy for the past two episodes. I hope she gets better, because I really do want to like her. I liked Martha immediately...so I guess I expected to like Donna right away as well. I'm not giving up on her yet because there are moments where I find that I am enjoying her as a companion...she just needs more of them...IMO

The Doctors Daughter
spoilers
im not gonna lie...I thought this episode was crap.
the monsters were RUBBBBBBBBBBBIIISHHHHH. Martha was sooooo annoying and freema's acting was atrocious for some reason. The general sets and location was boring and the doctors daughter was kinda annoying. The whole plot involving his daughter just being some quick tissue clone from his hand to me felt like I dunno...like Id been cheated. I expected some big plot but it was just felt like the writers were like 'right we'll stuff his hand in some big ole scifi-y machine and waallaa...some hot blonde chick can emerge and be all yo dad.'
marthas inclusion was pointless as well.
in general I just thought the episode was laughable. And its not that im not a big doctor who fan as Im usually one of the ones on the dr who figures thread every saturdy/sunday sayin how much I thought the most recent episode was amazing but this episode was absolute rubbish. Verrrry disappointed.
(cant seem to get the writing to turn white.)

I love DW. I LOVE Donna! Not as much as Rose who is AMAZING! But I think she is the funniest partner of the Doctor so far. Martha, I didn't like her. She seemed like a filler partner for me. After Rose, they just needed someone to take the shock away. But Martha was just ok. I'm not sure what is a spoiler now or not. Since the recent episodes have been in the US I will assume people know? I'll just put some spaces or something
I am so excited that Rose is coming back! Seeing her again makes me so happy! I was in tears when she left!

(cant seem to get the writing to turn white.) Just type in [*color=White] whatever you want to say[/color*] without the astericks (*s) and it will make your text white. Your post had [*color=Black][/color*] (without the *s obviously) I love DW. I LOVE Donna! Not as much as Rose who is AMAZING! But I think she is the funniest partner of the Doctor so far. Spoilers for the Doctor's DaughterI actually really like Jenny. The episode was so-so in terms of story, but with her introduction it brought it's merit up for me. If they bring her back it would be awesome. I loved that little smirk she had, it really reminded me of her father (both the real and fictional one). The way she characterized her character was really wonderful for me. I do really hope that they do bring Jenny back at some point. Her position as the only other Gallifreyian in existance (that we know of...) has to be kind of vitial to the plot some day in the future, or else she would not have regenerated... ok done ranting now...I can not wait until this weekend because I missed Who last week on sci-fi because I was on a band trip to San Fransico. I know that sci-fi cuts stuff out but is better than watching the show on my little computer screen.

SPOILERS
I really liked the Doctors Daughter!
Those aliens were a little lame, but not too bad. I thought Martha's acting was very good in that scene with the sinky sand....made me all teary.
Jenny was very cute. I liked her upbeat attidude & quiky humour.

Spoilers for The Unicorn and the Wasp
So I generally enjoyed this episode all together, though the bit about the unicorn was kind of under played, in my opition. I really do enjoy Donna more and more as episodes continue. Rose has always been my favorite for this new doctor, in terms of compatiablity and chemistry, Martha just seemed like a hanger on instead of a real part of the team until the very end, but now Donna is really stepping it up in my books. When she kissed the Doctor, "for a bit of a shock," and the whole game of charades before it was just brilliant. "How is Harvey Wallbanger one word?!?" "'What's that?' 'Salt.' 'That's too salty!'" "Camptown Races? The Towering Inferno?" Just absolutely brilliant in my book. The end bit as well when they were doing the whole fingering of the villian was smashing! Donna sitting there eating, like watching a good movie, going on and on with little tidbits that actually didn't really have anything to do with what the train of thought was at the time, "So she killed him then?" I just love it! I can't wait two more weeks for another episode! Also I just rememver something else, did it seem like the music at the begining that was played on the record player have the same beat as the Master's drums? Or am just nuts?
A question for people in Britian. What is I Would Do Anything? I watch Doctor Who on youtube and durning the end credits there is always an advert for that show and I was wondering what that was.

Spoliers for 4x07Well, this was a very entertaining episode - light, funny and very entertaining. The de-toxic scene was hilarious! ;D
Just only bit that got me disappointed was the "Next Time" teaser - last year they gave us preview of the all up coming episodes since the show was delayed for a week due to Eurovision and now I was expecting the same...so that was a bit disappointing they didn't bother to update the teaser.
BTW, is it just me or the next episode has a much stronger Classic vibe to it? I mean from the parts we've seen in the teaser?

Spoiler
I really enjoyed 'The Unicorn and the Wasp'.I thought that it was very entertaining and the jokes were funny as well.Donna was brilliant in this episode and I thought that it was definately her best one. Moreover , I really liked 'the Unicorn' who could have been a very interesting character given more screen time.In my opinion , she is one of the best minor characters along with the likes of Ross and Lynda. Hopefully , she will return though as they did leave it possible for her to come back as she managed to get away without being arrested. Perhaps they will make a 'Unicorn' spin off.

SPOILERS for the Shadow/Library Episode!
I thought it was a GREAT episode! I really want to know who that woman is! Can't wait to find out thoughi have to wait 2 weeks cause I'm going on vacation!!! And Donna!!!!!! If they kill her off I'm going to be very mad! Not as mad as i was with Rose but VERY mad! I was starting to like her and she has been the funniest and mos outgoing so far. I really hope he can get her back. Though the preview did say she died. The Doctor goes: "You just killed someone I like. And that is not ok with me." Or something like that. Overall, a very nice episode! I wonder how they are going to get out of that mess!

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for last 2 episodes (last library and the train one)
I just watched both of them. I really liked the library one. Thought it was a great end. The train one seemed to be a kind of filler episode though. Loved how Rose was on the train monitor! LOL
SPOILERS!!!!!! for the sneak peak on next weeks episode
I am much more excited about next weeks episode though! Rose is BACK, the Doctor dies, and Donna is going to die? Well, that's what the sneak peek said! Donna has to save the world from destruction? And how does Rose get back? I'm so excited!

Spoilers for the last few episodes... Well I was not that impressed with the Library two parter. It was just a little stale for my liking. I did love Donna though, as always. I almost cried at the very end of the two parter when her husband sees her but because of his stutter he can't say here name before he is teleported away. How sad it that! The vilian though got me. I have always been afraid of the dark and giving it a name and what it really does, makes it ten times worse! *shivers*
Now for Midnight. I loved this episode! I know it was Donna light, but Doctor heavy is all right with me. *growl* The Doctor was looking mightly fine at the begining of the episode to me! Plus the first part, with the time jumps and all the getting to know you stuff was a great setup for the second half. It was a great study of human emotion and emotional reaction. How the people so were so willing to turn on the strangers to protect themselves, and how everything that happened caused more and more hysteria. Very real and very heartwrenching. The Doctor, when he was getting drained, was so scary, and great acting on DT's part.
The next on has got me tingling and sad at the same time, because it means that this season is almost over, and no more Donna... I can't wait, but I dread it at the same time...

GENERAL SPOILERS!!!!!!!! just some rumors I've heard about upcoming things. Don't read if you don't want to know(though I doubt they're true) There is a question on the very first line though. Just so you wouldn't have to look for it if you didn't want to know. More aimed at the person who posted before me. Thanks!
So is Donna leaving for good? She is not returning to DW? That is sad. I liked her. Also, the Doctor is leaving for a year. The guy who plays him is going off to do a play. It has been rumored that the three girls(Rose, Martha, and Donna) were going to go off looking for him because he disappeared. But now it looks as though he regenerates and we will have to get to know a whole new Doctor. I don't want to know a new Doctor. I hope he leaves during the break for the season and comes back for next season. Also, I'm super ecstatic that Rose is coming back!!!!! She is my fav DW partner EVER!

Spoilers answer to dementor!
Well Catherine Tate has said she is leaving the series at the end of this season. I don't want to give anything away for the series end, but I hear something will happen to Donna that will make it so that her travels with the Doctor nul and void.
As for David Tennant, he is performing with the Royal Shakespearean Company, doing Hamlet and Love's Labours Lost. (Which I wish I could go see!!!!) They are doing a few one hour specials instead of a full season in the next year so that David can do both. He is not yet confimed as the Doctor for the following season though. Since Russel T Davies is stepping down from the head writer and producer role and handing it over to Steven Moffet, it would be prudent for the BBC to try and keep David because of all the shows throughout the new seasons, Moffet's have been the lowested rated of the entire series. Losing David would seriously harm the show, and maybe send it down a road I don't want to even think of. They need to try and keep him for Moffet's freshman year, and if they must, let him go after that.
They also said that Billie Piper might be back for one or two of the specials in the in between seasons, and that would rock my socks off!!!

SPOILERS!!!!!! answering hehe That is to bad about Donna! I really liked her! Not as much as Rose, but she was my second place. I will probably cry on her last episode.
That is really good about David though. I can't imagine DW without him now.
And yay for Rose! It is too bad she won't be there for all the specials. I guess that means she isn't coming back for good but just guest staring. I guess her and the Doctor just fell out of love.
I wonder who the Doctors next companion will be. Has it been announced how many specials there will be?
