Again with the spoilery answers!
While I don't think that The Doctor and Rose have fallen out of love, by any means, I think that he want her to have a life, not just one where she sits around waiting for him. I am guessing she had to do a lot to get back through the void, and what I have read of spoilers that crack is going to close back up again. Along with that closing back up, what I hear of the last episode, you more than likely cry at the loss of Donna, as will I. I love her, she brings back that classic partner. She is not there for love, wether it is mutual or a crush, she is there for the adventure and to be a mate. Plus Catherine Tate is just hillarious and always makes a laugh even in a dark situation. Her presence will be missed.
As for the specials, there will be four. One Christmas special, and three other ones. They are supposed to all be written by Russel T Davies, like his one last hurrah before leaving. Billie isn't confirmed as a guest staring in any of them, only David is confirmed. I just heard a rumor about the Rose thing. Also no new companion has been confirmed either, I just hope they can compare to Rose and Donna, and not be like a clingy Martha again...

Answers again! This is fun! SPOILERS!!!! I am hoping the void closes and Rose is with the Doctor when it does. But I don't know if she could leave her family knowing that she can't go back. She does have that new show that she is in though. Hmmmmmm...I don't know.
I am not looking forward to Donna leaving. She is so much fun! And WAY better than Martha! She annoyed me so much! I'm starting to like Rose and Donna more equally now though. I wish she hasn't leaving. Why do they always leave??? I find that annoying. Especially when Rose left. Like Billie had anything to go to. But now she has her new show.
Four for the year? How sucky. I'm glad we are getting any though. They could have just canceled it for a year. Maybe the Doctor will go solo this time. Like in last Christmas special he can just meet random people that help him and then he leaves.

Yes, it has been confirmed that next year there will be four Doctor Who specials, including the usual Christmas one. As I seem to see a trend developing in this thread so I'll go ahead and make sure anyone who wants to be is up on the latest spoilery news, these are MAJOR SPOILERS so get ready to highlight... Besides Rose returning for "Turn Left" through the rest of the season, the finale , "Stolen Earth" will also feature the return of Martha Jones, Jack Harkness, Jackie Tyler, Mickey Smith, and Sarah Jane Smith!!! You can see a promo shot of all of them together, along with the return of Dalek Caan by following the link below! Fans in Britain have also caught camera-phone shots of filming on-site where David Tennant has been seen with Catherine Tate filming what appears to be 2 parts of the same scene, one in his brown suit standing next to Donna and one in his blue suit standing across from Donna apparently talking to Donna and the him in a brown suit. Of course this is merely speculation not proof that there will be two Doctors, as it could simply be undecided which suit and which blocking they want for the scene yet.THIS BLOG features loads of new SPOILERS and SPOILER PICS on "Turn Left" "Journey's End" and "Stolen Earth" so do not click the link if you don't want it to be SPOILED!

Spoilers for Turn Left
Wow, that was just to heavy. It has been almost a half hour since I watched the episode and I still feel sick inside. That episode has gotten to me more than any other. That idea that one small change in your life can change the world so dramatically is so exciting. Seeing what would have happened if Donna had never met the Doctor, and all the devestation that would befall the Earth if the Doctor was not here to protect us was so scary. Everything that happened in the series, but without the Doctor, and the loss of every character we have cared for over the years was heart wrenching. I cried so hard, and the thought of all that happening has made me physically sick. I am not kidding. Seeing those pictures of Sarah Jane on the news really, really got to me. I love the character and seeing those happy pictures of her face on the telly, then hearing her family had gone missing really hit home. Then I just totally broke down when the families in the housing were sing Bohemian Rhapsody, trying to bring happiness to such a dark place just had me sobbing. Rose's apperances in Donna's life, and her respect that she gains from all around her, has shown her growth as a woman and a character. You can still see that little glimmer of light from the old times, with her mention of the Doctor's "great hair" just made a little smile appear on my lips, a nice shimmer of hope in such a bleak episode. I seem to just rambling now, I am just so full of emotion from this episode...
And for the next episode, the bleakness continues, but with everybody dropping by. Jack, Inanto, Gwen, Sarah Jane, Luke, Martha, Rose, Mickey, Jackie, the Judoon, and the Dalaks just stopping in for the last two episodes, just maddness, but in a good way!!! I am excited, but not looking forward for the emotional drain...

"Turn Left" Spoilers:
Wow, it's taken me time just to put words together to talk about this episode. That was absolutely the most intense episode of Doctor Who I've ever seen. It made "Last of the Time Lords" look like an episode of Full House. It was really beautiful and poetic too. When Donna said to Rose something like "But I'm not really going to die, because I'll live on in the other world" the looks on their faces were just absolutely stunning acting. I can not get over how brilliant Catherine Tate was in general. And since a lot of people were confused about Bad Wolf everywhere I'll express my belief on how it happened. In Parting of the Ways she said she could see "All the was, all that is, all that ever could be" and she says the words Bad Wolf were a warning she spread for herself and the Doctor throughout the universe. So seeing what "could be" she saw the return of Davros or whatever and placed warnings for the Doctor. However, in POTW she lost her memory of the events that had just happened so could never warn the Doctor in person about all that was coming.
And next week! I'm so excited for the 3-way cross over! Jack, Ianto, Gwen, Sarah Jane, Luke, Mickey, and Jackie ALL on Doctor Who! IT'S GOING TO BE FANTASTIC!

She's sounded different in interviews and even on Secret Diaries of a Call Girl, but it's not really a lisp it's just her accent and the fact that she's had some kind of work done (collagen maybe, or got vineers or something). But she didn't call it the Tardith, isn't it?

Spoilers for the Stolen Earth
OH MY GOD!!!! I can't take this, I can't that cliff hanger regeneration!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can they do that!?!?!?!?! Tennent is confirmed to come back so there has to be some kind of time travel!!!! Then leaving Sarah Jane to be exterminated and Gwen and Ianto!!! My heart hurts!!!! I don't think I can wait a week for the end to come! My heart is beating so fast from the adrediline(sp?) from the TO BE CONTINUED that I think it might explode. DAVROS!!! Then that sound that came in on the sound wave thing that got them all together, the bah, bah, bah bump, it still reminds me of the Master's drums...Oh man this is going to be the greatest finale ever!!!!

I can't...I just...I don't...oh my God...words...
Stolen Earth Spoilers Elizabeth Sladen's acting was f***ing phenomenal. As was John Barrowmen's when they saw the Daleks and especially Elizbeth Sladen's when she heard Davros' voice. Sweet little lambs of Jesus. That episode was so...DKFSABADJFBKAFBBF! I think the Osterhagen Key could be what's going to keep David Tennant as the Doctor.

HOLY SHIZ ON MY NIZ.
I watched Stolen earth twice today I watched it once, then watched Supernatural finale, and then watched stolen earth all over again. so tonight has been big cliffhanger day for me. lolz.
But I thought dr who was BLOODY AMAZING.
Everytime a show I love gets all dramatic I get really emotional, even if its not a sad moment. Just like Rose standing there with the huge gun I get all emotional. i love it.
I was sure that the dalek was gonna freaking kill Rose when it emerged form behind the car as she was running, plus the crazy dalek said 'ever lasting death for the doctors most faithful companion...'
I know theres the whole donnas gna die thing so I assumed hemeant that but then i thought most faithful...maybe he means Rose cos techincally shes been on the show for 2 yrs whereas the other have been on it for one so when that dalekermeged while she was running I hit the pause button and sat there in silence for like 2 mins just thinking, if i press play and rose gets killed Ill fuking hunt russell t davis down and exterminate him!
somaybe in next weeks episode rose gets killed to save donna...or maybe the dalek did mean donna by the doctors most faithful companion.
Oh and I LOVEDDDDDD Gwen screaming while she fired her gun at the end.
Best episode of dr who ever, ever, ever.

Everytime a show I love gets all dramatic I get really emotional, even if its not a sad moment. ...I get all emotional. i love it. I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was old enough to watch it, with my earliest memory being Sarah-jane's original departure story! I sat through bad acting, bad effects, loose plotting, the works... However nothing will ever top Saturday night for me. It was everything I wanted from the programme in a forty five minute, self-indulgent slice. By the end I was on my sofa, crying my heart out with pure, happy tears. Honestly, it was such an emotional reaction to what felt like perfection. In the cold light of day I could pick holes in it but it wasn't there for that. It was RTD throwing everything into a pot and seeing what happened. LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!!

fuck me sideways.
Sorry about the language but holy crap....'turn left'/'stolen earth'/'journeys end'. What an emotional journey.
The last episode was absolutely great. i think it could have been better but when looked at as a 3 parter with the 2 before it, it is just one big amazing journey that was absolutely awesome.
RIP DONNA! I love her sooooo blooooooooddddddyyyyy much. tate will be immensely missed. She was fucking amazing, her emotions she pulled out the bag throughout the whole series have really taken me by surprise and i will miss her loads in future episodes.
I loved the exchange between sarah jane and davros....good times.
2 doctors....was wicked, and rose got one for herself! haha. I loved cpt jacks comment...'3 doctors? You dont wanna know whats going through my mind'
Dr donna was LEGEND. and sooo beyond tragic, when she said going binary binary binary binary and talking constantly and the doctors face was heart wrenchingly horrible. It really reminded me of 'I will remember you' with buffy and angel.
With her in her house just not having a clue who the doctor was at the end....argh. She reminds me so much of my best mates sister, lol, I love how human she makes the character.
Martha didnt really do much other than annoy me to be honest. Oh the castle she went to in Germany made me laugh cos Iv been to that castle loads of times....Castell Coch....translated from the welsh to Red Castle.lol. yes....coch is welsh for red...i know...kinda funny...so I had another one of those OOOO IV BEEN THERE moments. hehe. gotta love it.
Dr who confidential was brilliant as well. Billie piper looks beautiful without all her make up, her talking about beauty and the beast gave me a chuckle in the interview and Freema made me laugh when she was talking about how martha was all independant again and it meant she missed out on a lot of the fun. bless.
German daleks! HAHAHA LOVE IT.
i did start tearing down my face on the dr who confidential when it showed the flashes to donnas entire journey and it replayed the ending of the finale, then it dawned on me the loss of donna and i got all sad.
the contrast between the scene with like 7 people in the tardis to the end shot of him all alone...bad times...
aww man Im gonna miss this bastard show.

Journey's End spoilers...
Wow...I'm once again left mildly speechless. That was flipping brilliant though. The acting was amazing, especially for Catherine Tate again, I just can't get over how brilliant that woman is. Davros was extremely creepy when he laughed maniacally. I think one thing I liked most of all was how much it felt like an old series story with the new series attitude. I liked that the Osterhagen key WASN'T an alien thing. I also thought the resolution of Rose and the Human-Doctor was a BRILLIANT way to give her a happily ever after. I have been saying sice Torchwood went off that Martha would replace Owen and I called when Mickey was confirmed to return for Doctor Who that he would end up replacing Tosh, and now it definitely looks that way.
I CANNOT wait for the Christmas Special (return of the Cybermen!), SJA 2, and the Torchwood miniseries!!!!!!!!

Spoilers for Journey's End I am an utter mess! You would think I just had my heart broken, with my nose and eyes bright red and the tear trails down my face! I thought that the episode was utterly brilliant! The throw backs to all the chracters, Sarah Jane being there at the creation of the Daleks, and K-9 coming to save the day! The 3 Doctors was utter brilliance as well, and a friend of mine actually predicted it weeks before, so bravo on her part. Getting that Rose/Human Ten kiss was great, but I wish that Real Ten would have done it before he left. It would have been his last hurrah with her, before leaving her forever. Maybe someday we will get dimension hopping babies from the two! Ahhh Donna! I will miss you so! She was so brilliant and humorous and awesome, I don't know how you can replace her! Maybe if Catherine Tate ever wants to come back, they can figure a way to fix her brain and we can have another Female Time Lady, along with Jenny! AHHHH I am just so... Gah! Done now...........

**** SPOILERS ****
I'm feeling pretty ambivalent about this episode. There were some things that really worked for me, but there was also a lot that didn't work. I'll skip over some of the more obvious questions (Captain Jack in the incinerator, Sarah-Jane's magical necklace, etc) and go to the main questions at hand.
The Doctor strongly implied that Davros wasn't in control and was in fact being kept in the "Vault" as a prisoner. Who was in control? Was Dalek Caan the one everyone was obeying? It appears odd that the Daleks would obey a creature that feigned insanity for so very long (not to mention the fact that Caan must have been difficult to understand if he was acting insane all the time). Or was the Supreme Dalek in charge? Davros' exchanges with the Supreme Dalek indicate that the Supreme Dalek took orders from Davros and given that Davros made the Supreme Dalek (from his own flesh/genetic material), I don't see why Davros wouldn't have built a more obedient creation.
I understand they gave Caan credit for basically setting everything up and playing a role in the destruction of the Daleks (due to the fact he broke the Time Lock of the Time War and realised that the Daleks had to be destroyed, but only after first playing a major part in creating a new Dalek empire so that it could be destroyed, again), but I didn't get the impression that he was the one giving the orders so to speak or that Davros and the Daleks followed his commands (especially as he essentially spoke in mumbo jumbo and it would have been difficult to follow/interpret his dialogue at the best of times).
Not to mention the fact that DoctorDonna somehow manages to re-wire the Dalek's spaceship controls (conveniently kept in their version of a dungeon for some reason) to destroy all the Daleks using controls which appear to have been designed for use by human hands even though the Daleks do not have hands (I imagine it would be difficult manipulating those controls with a plunger and death ray). I guess the controls could have been for Davros' benefit, but he has his own in-built controls and didn't appear as though he would be able to reach far enough to manipulate the controls Donna was using.
Martha was, as per usual for me, pretty much useless. All that mumbo jumbo about the teleporting back-pack and the key and it really did nothing worthwhile (although I guess it contributed to Davros' rant about how the Doctor turns his companions into killers/warriors, but I'm sure they could have demonstrated that in a better way). Also, was it just me or did the fact Martha never bothered to try and contact her fiancee even once during the episodes annoy anyone else. Not only does she not call him to check if he's okay when the Earth is first "moved" she doesn't try and contact him at any point whatsoever and teleports to her mother (although the rest of her family are magically missing and not mentioned). That just seemed a little odd to me when Gwen got quite a few lines of dialogue speaking with Rhys (sp?) and the kids from Sarah-Jane's show also got name-checked as being "safe".
What else? Is David Tennant now the 10th and 11th Doctor? Strictly speaking, the Doctor used the energy of a regeneration to heal himself and then instead of regenerating, chose to siphon the additional energy into his hand. That indicates to me that a regeneration did technically take place and that he is now both the 10th and 11th Doctors and he "chose" not to change his physical appearance/personality inbetween regenerations.
As for Doctor 10.5 aka Hand Clone Ten. Not a fan. It was mildly interesting to see two Doctors but when his creation was done for the ultimate purpose of the incredibly sentimental ending with Rose, I really would have preferred otherwise. And I do feel really bad for 10.5. If he's truly identical to the Doctor (with a bit of Donna added for good measure), how is he going to feel stuck on Earth for the remainder of his days, never being able to travel in the TARDIS. It seemed incredibly cruel for the "real" Doctor to treat his other half like that. I really can't imagine the Doctor, even if he were suddenly "human" happily settling for life on Earth when he could otherwise be exploring the galaxies in time and space. And there was Rose's reaction to the Doctor's gift of 10.5 as well. Rose didn't seem all that impressed with her own "human" Doctor to play with and I have to wonder how long-lasting their relationship will be if Rose is constantly pining for the "real" Doctor and 10.5 is constantly pining for his little blue box. I don't see them living happily ever after at all.
And DoctorDonna. Truly heart-breaking. Probably both the best and worst moment of the episode for me. On the one hand I would have preferred to see Donna die with her memories intact as opposed to being returned to the rather selfish and obnoxious person that she was pre-Runaway Bride. It was very sad to see Donna returned to her previous state, although I do hope that her memories will assert themselves sufficiently that her life will no longer revolve around the latest Pringle flavour.
And that's about it. It seemed a real waste to see the Daleks once again destroyed for all time. I would have liked to have seen some make an escape with Davros so that their eventual return (which seems obvious as they always return) doesn't need a super in-depth explanation. Yet another "emergency teleport" will seem a bit redundant at this stage. The group flying shot and "towing" the Earth were deplorable and cringeworthy, but I'm sure there are plenty of fans who loved it.
So, not a terrible episode. It was a terrible ending to Donna's story and I do wish her end had been a little happier, but given the sugar-coating everyone else got, I'm glad there was a sense of "loss" in the episode.
Cheers.

Well I just watched the Stolen Earth on Sci-Fi and I still had that heart-pounding reaction with the entire episode as I did before. I still hate Sci-Fi for the cuts they make, like how Wilf explains why he has a paint gun to Sylvia. I don't remember any other cuts, but it still irks me. Sci-Fi cut many things that applied to Donna and her family and I think it really took away from her character. I hope it did not affect other from loving her character as much as I did. I wait with baited breath for next week, to see how Sci-Fi bungles up the finale.
Oh and I don't think I mentioned this before, but I love the Mr. Copper Foundation that Hariet Jones mentions that helped make the subprime network. I loved Mr. Copper and that little nod was great!
A little spoiler talk about the teaser for next week, just in case no one has seen it yet
What the Hell!?!?!? They show both the handDoctor, the real Doctor, and Donna getting the regneration energy from the hand, and the Doctor whispering the DoctorDonna behind it. I feel sorry for all those who hadn't seen the finale before this because all the great surprises that happened, and gave me all those great heart-palpatating moments, are ruined by that teaser! Gah!!! Done now...

Gah!!! Done now... I agree! I hated how in "Turn Left" they shortened the Chinatown-planet thing intro (before she enters the fortune tellers shop) from 1:22 to about 30 seconds! You barely saw Donna and the Doctor enjoying the vendors and Donna didn't put up a fight at all and the fortune teller only asked twice instead of four times. I know it's kind of a nit-picky thing, but it was a nice set up with the fortune teller asking if she wanted to know if she'd be happy and Donna saying she already was happy. I believe SciFi actually said that next weeks finale would be aired unedited and I hope it is for all the American viewers. I also agree about them showing a trailer for next week! It complete spoils the regeneration cliff-hanger!
