Willow-Welcoming BuffyI didn't have this one on my list, but Annette spotted how great Buffy looked in this sheer over-dress, from "Same Time, Same Place". See my site for recipe details: msbig.sashapowell.co.uk/mbframenew.htm My final entry. Phew. I'm tired now! I'm going to lie down with a cold compress on my forehead!

well what can i say. i suggested to annette that i would make this one for her and she told me she commissioned if from you like a week before lol. so i knew this one was coming but i didnt know when. out of the ones you have posted for this competion, this is my least favourite but she is still looking beautiful, because lets face it, SMG look beautiful no matter what she wears! i like the sculpting overall, but the top of her torso, the ruffled bit looks a bit large to me. great work wayne

I loved all your Willows Msbig. My favorites are your most recent Willow Welcoming and Evil Lint. They were my favorite outfits from some of my favorite episodes. Great job

Argh. Ain't finished and ain't happy with the unfinished piece already. It wouldn't be so bad, but the figure's only an inch high. :/ Oh well, next month I'm not working solidly for the first three and a bit weeks so I'll try harder next time. (And just to make me look even lazier, that's another great Buffy from Sasha. She looks very thoughtful, I think.)

wow thats so unique. those clothes are so diffirent and its one of the most original buffys I ever seen.
Personally my favourite is the evil lint buffy but this is really good too. And its nice to see someone still using the old buffy heads and well done for making a suitable pose out of those buffy 2 legs. I actually thought you had used anya legs!

Emcee - "Beneath Me" Buffy
Nice job. Great choice of episode. That is one of her most stunning tops.
I think you're close with the face. The eyes are a good shape but next time, modify her eyebrows and lips a little. SMG's eyebrows are quite straight and close to her eyes. Her upper lips could be a little more rounded and her bottom lip fuller.

Well, this is a great way to end the beautiful buffy challenge. Sasha, you have definitely made a good bunch of buffys for this challenge. My favorite of your buffys would be Evil-Lint buffy.

Yay! I'm so happy with the turnout for this challenge! Lets get this discussion to 10 pages . Ms. Big, I think the way you sculpted the Willow Buffy so you could paint the tranlucency is great. I have to say that out of all the Buffy's of yours, Crush-suspecting is my favorite. Great job everyone! Some that stood out to me and that I remember are Sanctuary, Restless, Storyteller, and NPLH, but I really enjoyed them all and thought the skill level is better than any other contest or challenge we've seen so far. The bar is set high...I'm scared for June! But excited too

I really wanted to get this one down right, so I tweaked Buffy a little bit. I added a lighter wash to her hair and changed her lips and eyebrows. I think she's a lot closer now. The exact moment I was trying to capture was that heartbreaking look where she realizes what's happened to Spike. That, to me, was the most beautiful moment.

I really like her.. except she looks a little cross eyed to me I agree. Maybe make the pupils and the detail within bigger? Also in general you could maybe make the eye bigger. It definately is an improvement though.

FINALLY DONE! I chose to do this bust instead of a figure because I am so bussy with school. I thought that the bust would be quicker...I was wrong! Here is the final product. I am working on a base for her using some Darla fences and a candle stick from the Master. I am going for a dramatic base to match the pose. I am also planning on giving her a neclace to cover the crack on her neck that happened when I was boiling her Thanks for looking!

Wow, she looks really great. Now that would be a bust DST should have done. The detail in her dress and hair are really amazing.
Does she stand/sit on her own?

Thanks DL! I am happy with the outcome. I think she was worth the work.
She does stand on her own...kinda. She is obviously unbalanced because of her out reaching arm. Also, the way that I sculpted her dress dosn't help. Because I sculpted it to look like it is blowing up a bit around the bottom, the front is longer than the back and that makes it kinda tippy aswell. I plan on placing a ball of sculpty under her to stabilize her when I am ready to display it.
I will run off and take a picture of her free standing before I go to bed.

Here is a photo of her standing (w/the aid of some sticky tack) in a mock-up of her base.

Thanks Gordo! I am proud of her! I have made three mini busts now (i think, maybe 4) and she was definately the hardest yet!
What were you planning Aly? I really busted my butt to finish this custom bust because I love the theme of this challenge and the next one dosn't really enthuse me all that much. I have a few ideas for it though and now that school is over (last final is tomorrow morning!!!) I will actually have some time to work on them!
