OuijaRick - Restless Buffy
That's a lovely custom! The painting on her dress is exquisite. Just perfect. Better than any before!
Lovely delicate hair sculpt. I'd like to see a few hightlights though. Maybe get a lighter blonde on a dry brush and scumble across the top of it.

Thanks for all the comments! I did put highlights in that hair, with gold pen, but the paint I used underneath seems to be a pretty similar colour, which isn't showing up in the photos. I didn't want to dry brush anything, since i'm not so good at it at the moment, as I haven't done much of it. I chose the easy route instead of accidently messing her hair up and having to repaint it again. I think i'll have a bit of practice trying it on some jeans first. The base was just one I had spare from some animated Witchblade figure. I liked the overall size of it in comparison to the Buffy figures. I then padded it up with sculpey to get the foot holds.

Crush-Suspecting BuffyI've made a BB from the 'Crush' episode. I've always thought her top was such a pretty colour. It really suits her. And I love her golden Season 5 hair. I'm pleased with the look on her face. She only gets that particular look when either Spike or Dawn are annoying her. In this case, it's probably both! OuijaRick, your Restless Buffy looks fantastic; its a very natural pose, and terrific sculpturing of the dress and hair. Also, good paintjob...especially of the dress. Sasha, your Crush Buffy is also amazing! Great work on the outfit and the pose...the likeness is flawless!

April has been one of the craziest months of my life. I have classes 5 days a week and it seems like I have a test every other day. I had 9 papers due this month!! To top that all off I have been organizing a student fashion show at my university! That is this Friday and then my last final is a week from today. So, I should be having oodles of free time soon...Thank god! I have been so impressed with all the figures people are making for this challenge! The bar is being set really high for future challenges! I have managed to sculpt one of my planned entries. She is from the Homecoming episode. I was planning on making this a full figure but I decided to make it a mini bust instead. When I am finished she will have a cross bow in her hand. I will be painting her some time next week! Let me know what you think! This is my favorite so far. It's lovely. The pose is great! Very fluid, and real. The pose is what really attracted me to it. And it's so smooth and well done. Great job!

The sculpting on the top is brilliant as usual. The pose is spot on. I love this figure.

Wow. That is one amazing custom! I love buffy in her cherry dress (i think it may be my favourite buffy outfit) and you've captured it perfectly. The paintjob on it is spot on. And the whole figure just looks so...smooth.

Evil-Lint-Bothered BuffyHere's the Buffy from 'Life Serial' that I promised. All the Whedonverse actresses are gorgeous but my mum pointed out to me that SMG also has the most beautiful arms ever. Artists notice things like that! She's right. I think this celebrates Buffy's beautiful arms and shoulders. Also how lovely her face is, when she's tearful. See my site for recipe details: msbig.sashapowell.co.uk/mbframenew.htm Challenge Closing SoonI'm going to try to squeeze one more BB in before the challenge closes. Any else who still has a BB in progress, please remember to post the finished photo by April 30th. This thread will be locked on May 1st.

wow I love your new buffy, how many is that for you now!! Well you trumped the challenge thats for sure because all of your figures are superb!
Ive never seen this figure done before and it looks gorgeous. SMG looked stunning in this scene and you pulled it off really well. According the photo her hair could maybe be a bit less blonde and more browny but it could just be the screencap you used.

Finished, and in the knick of time too! This is Bewitched Bewildered Bothered Buffy. Thanks to MsBig for the reciepe of Buffy2 head and Anyanka torso. This is my first sculpted custom, so please forgive it! The silver line is meant to be a zip, and unfortunately you can't see it in the pictures, she has a belt round her, and the coat has got little pockets.

For a first sculpt I think she came out well. I think you may have been slightly over ambitious with her being your first sculpt but I did the same with mine, rather than gradually learn I jumped in at the deep end and I think it helps to learn quicker. I think you could have maybe shortened the hair and angled the head better with either glue or sculpey but liek I said, for a first she came out good, but obviously there is room for improvement.

Wow, impressive work everyone! Great turnout! Ms.Big, you've totally got the season 5 hair down pat (it's my favorite style). Still slightly large eyes, but I know it's your style and it wouldn't be a Sasha custom without them. Clothings sculpts and paint jobs are both beautiful. Illyrobin- I wish I could see the details in the sculpt! Good job for having the bravery to post your first attempt, I know it's difficult to try the first time, and scary to show off something your not sure about. But this is a great first sculpt, not overly thick, and from what I can tell it's a great shape. I just think that maybe the head could fit better with the body somehow

Illyrobin - BBB Buffy
I think she's great for your first sculpt. Much better than my first sculpt.
With head swapping, you always have to watch the length of the neck, so that it doesn't end up too long. Sometimes you have to chop the neck down to look normal.

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do this challenge. I've been backed up on commissions, but hurray for me... I'm in just under the wire. I've always felt Buffy was most beautiful at the end of "Beneath You", while listening to Spike's confession. Not only does SMG look great, but there's a vulnerability and strength that really shines through during the scene. For some reason, her hair looks very brown in the picture. It's actually quite light in RL. This was my first Buffy, so I struggled a lot on the likeness. I need to do some more before I've really got her down.

The sculpting on her body and clothes is really well done and the paint job is great. Like you said, the likeness isnt completely there but with more buffys you will be bound to get there soon enough. Well done!
