Oh Sasha! She is beautiful!! I love her! Her sculpted hair is so pretty and the detailing on the shirt is outstanding. What kind of pens do you use for the detailing? I was wondering that to...What gel pens do you use? Do they come in a lot of different colors? Do you have to do anything special to keep them from smearing?

I had some accessory sunglasses so I used them. I just had to cut off the ends and repaint them.
I use Uni-ball Gel Pens, when I can get them. I got some great ones in the US a few years ago and haven't been able to find any as good again.
I spray with a craft matt fixative to fix the pens. I try not to use pen too much and I advise my buyers not to rub the bits where I've used pen, just in case.

Sasha custom Shondra custom. So hard to choose which is best. Hell, who am I kidding, they are both bloody gorgeous. I am beginning to think that you girls are clones, very special ones, with amazing artistic abilities. As they say on the Womens PGA golf tour, "These girls are great", figure wise and human wise. Both superb artists doing superb customs. Thank you both for producing such great figures, even though you only do it to kill my credit card, because you know it gets my buying juices flowing.

April has been one of the craziest months of my life. I have classes 5 days a week and it seems like I have a test every other day. I had 9 papers due this month!! To top that all off I have been organizing a student fashion show at my university! That is this Friday and then my last final is a week from today. So, I should be having oodles of free time soon...Thank god! I have been so impressed with all the figures people are making for this challenge! The bar is being set really high for future challenges! I have managed to sculpt one of my planned entries. She is from the Homecoming episode. I was planning on making this a full figure but I decided to make it a mini bust instead. When I am finished she will have a cross bow in her hand. I will be painting her some time next week! Let me know what you think!

Wicked bust, its nice to have some variation. Surprised we havent seen any palz...
The sculpting is really well done, but I think the ear is maybe a little too big. I love the pose, overall its just a real cool looking custom. Makes me wanna have a go at making some busts now!
Cant wait for it to be painted!!!

Comments on Works in ProgressInsanity - Mini BuffyYou've done a lovely job on this mini Buffy. She's very cute and her dress is pretty. How's it going? Is she nearly finished? Buffyfanone - Homecoming BuffyI love this so far. Very original. Her pose is excellent; very dynamic. Lovely smooth sculpting too, although she does appear to have a cauliflower ear.

Here is my mini Afterlife Buffy(all finished I repainted her hair, lips and eyes, and gave her dress more detail; I put more shades into the flowers and painted the wrinkles in her dress. Her base is just painted to look like cement, I also have crates made, but I won't finish the bigger base till I have Spike done. I think my favorite part is her sad face I might have better pics Once I finish my 6" 'Dead Things" Buffy.

ShondraSu – I like the first one, very original idea! I like the hand coming out of the ground too! The second one has a nice smooth paintjob, and I like the colours in it!
Chosen01 – The paintjob on that looks brilliant! And I like the flowy hair sculpt too. Brilliant!
Shivi – I love this custom! The paintjob looks so neat and detailed! The hair looks great and the Anya feet and Willow legs look really good together!
Buffyville – Very cool! I like the glittery customs you do, they always look fantastic! They both look great together also, and I like how they’ve been posed to look like they’re holding each other too.
Jsebold87 – I really like the paint job on this one, and it’s nice to see Buffy in something different. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else make this custom before either, great idea!
MsBig – Bride Buffy looks fantastic! The sculpting, the painting, and the material all look great! Her and Angel look brilliant together, and the Angel custom is cool too, you made the Wesley body look less lifeless. I like the second Buffy as well, the paintjob is neat, and the sculpting is nice and smooth too.
Stakey – One of your best custom’s yet! (I still think your Kathy rocked though.) The Hair sculpt is very nice, as is the sculpting on her top too.
Buffyfanone – Looks great so far! I agree that the ear looks a little large at the moment though.
Insanity – She looks cool, nice choice of episode to make her from! The paintjob looks good also; I like the eyes in particular.
I hope to get an in-progress picture of my custom up soon. I’ve been a little busier than I expected so I didn’t have as much time to work on her as I thought I would. Just need to neaten up the hair a little and she’ll be fully sculpted. I’ll try and paint her tomorrow, it depends if I can get hold of some new brushes.

My Buffy is (nearly) finished, and with bit of tarting up and jiggery pokery, she will be as good as I will get her.
I will do that tomorrow.
Insanitiy, I love your mini Buffy

At last, here is my entry. I skipped the in-progress pics since it was a little late when I’d finished sculpting her. Here she is, Buffy from “Restless” in her cherry dress. Pictures aren’t the greatest though, sorry. I had better ones but they turned out gigantic…

Wow! That's an amazing Buffy! Everything about it works so well...the gentle sculpt, the beautiful and detailed paint job, pose, personality, really A+ work. The only thing I would hesitantly complain about would be the likeness. I think the mouth could be a tad bigger, but I'm not really sure. I love her, love her, love her. Who is the base from?
