Aww wow. that is such a good idea. The cocktail sticks is a great idea and the parts work well along with the paint job.
overall, very unique and original!

Aly, Riley looks Fab! I love his outfit, great sculpting and details but his face still looks more like Scott than Riley. Overall great job! Becky, Your son Alex is very creative! He did a great job on the use of parts! Very cool idea as well! Great Job

*frown* I worked my butt off on my Marcie figure yesterday. I put her aside to take pictures of her... The next thing I know, I found her on the floor with all of her hair broken off.
I hate custom tragedies.

Doofus that I am, I managed to set time aside for this custom after my current project (which is now at the painting stage) so I shan't be entering the challenge contest. D'oh!

Sad...I was about to wrap up my double figure set, but wasn't able to finish. Didn't expect to be working almost 7 hrs. everyday for a partime job! I completed one figure, so I'll post him here. Basically, I was making a set of Michael and Amy from "Gingerbread". I chose Michael's only outfit, and Amy's from the lunch scene since it was the most interesting. However, when trying to paint the Japanese design on her dress, I saw in the quick shot of the front some big splotch I couldn't figure out, finally deciphering a geisha after a few freeze-frames. So she'll have to wait for completion . But I did get Michael finished. His shirt threw me for a loop as well, but I kinda just guessed that it was a dark winged figure striking down a light one with a bolt of lightning or something. Basically he's an Austin Powers Scott Evil repainted with a sculpey hood for authenticity. Here's some pics (expect to see matching base with completed Amy and scads of accessories within the week, I guess in my own thread). Barely had time to post this, but just wanted to let everyone know that I love these figures! It's great to see some people that haven't been made frequently or even once...it brings out everyone's own innovation. Hopefully I'll get time later to mention each one!

He looks great! You did an amazing job on the shirt detail and the hood on the jacket looks perfect!
PS: What head did you use on that riley figure in your banner?

I think that Michael custom is super, Willfan. It looks like him. I love his pursed mouth with the dark lipstick. Excellent!

That Michael is awesome! I would've voted for it if you had turned it in earlier. The detailing on his shirt is unbelievably well done. I can't wait to see it when you add Amy to it.

DAMN!!!!! I had a long message with comments for everyone, but my computer died for the first time ever and I lost it . Too late for me to write it right now, and I'm guessing the thread will be locked when I get a chance, so I'll just say good job sasha, becky, stakey, jsebold, illyrob, shondrasu, and aly...some of these are really fantastic! If you want further comments, don't hesitate to Pm me! Thanks to everyone for the compliments on Micheal, he was fun to make and I tried to get a peeved expression (stupid jocks!). And Buffyfanone, I used a Neo real world head (with alterations) for my riley.
