Wow Jess, that Jonathan is spot on, well done, I love his jumper.
I bought a Charmed Phoebe 1 figure from ebay, and will hopefully have Ms French attempt 2 ready in the not to distant future...

Wicked, I could tell it was jonathon straight away! Great job on the likeness. His jumper is a neat paint job as well.
I agree about the trainers, maybe paint them with a simple nikey tick or you could change them into converse to spice it up a little.
Also, lilrobin, get a move one...I cant wait to see ms french! You may want to try boiling her instead of risking the oven again...?

I think the Kathy custom is the spot on one. I've seen over fifteen different Kathy customs, and this one is the best. She is wonderful. I do see some Cassie likeness to your custom, but I wouldn't say spot on. I've spent hours looking at Azura Skye. Maybe that's why I don't find her spot on. Her neck is a bit long, and her eye color isn't right. All and all, she's a WONDERFUL custom. Whoever gets her is WAY lucky. The sculpt and painting ROCKS.

Becky - Dingoes-Singer Devon
It's great to see you making more figures, Becky.
I don't really see a likeness to Devon, though. He still looks like Angel.
I do love the shirt. Really well painted. Great props and setting for the scene as well.
Jsebold87 - Dead-Things Warren & What's-My-Line Jonathan
Lovely repaint on the shirt and tie for Warren. There is some likeness. I would paint his skin tone more sallow though. He looks a bit too healthy. Great props.
Very nice job on Jonathan. The likeness is certainly there. Maybe his hair could be darker and his eyes more blue. I like his shirt.
Stakey - Demon Kathy
Great job with Kathy. Good sculpt and paint work. I like the choice of human hands, not demon.
Great torn carpet and props, especially the flask.
Illyrobin - Dark Age Jenny
She does still kind of look like Cordy (as did mine). I think reducing her bosom would make it more like Jenny. Also changing her skin tone to be a little paler and her hair darker.
Alyrenee - Demon Kathy & Cassie Newton
Another excellent Kathy. Human hands would be more accurate but the demon claws give her character. Super painting and sculpting and I love her hair.
Great stand. You've got to love a Celine backdrop and Cher handbag. Hilarious!
Cassie's neck is noticeably too long. Apart from that, I think this is a super custom. I kind of like her looking up. I love the way you've done the body. Those weird Anya legs work very well for skinny, slouchy Cassie. The hair is excellent.
The head is a good choice and I can see a likeness. Again, the background is top notch.
It's great to see you being so prolific this year!

Thank everyone...
I get why everyone thinks cassie's neck is too long...but a lot of that is illusion. The neckline on her shirt is low cut and then her hair comes long on both sides of it...which blocks her shoulder line...if you look at where her shoulder line would be and wear the neck would start...it isn't as giraffe like as it looks...especially since I have her head tilting up. But if I had to do it over again...I would make it shorter. And i just might make another one to get it right...

I was thinking that same thing Aly. The hair and low scooping shirt definately make the neck look longer than it is. That happened with a Buffy I did not to long ago. She had hair on either side of her neck and then her shirt went into a DEEP v so it looked like her neck was a foot long.
You have really been cranking them out lately Aly! I am so un-motivated lately. I really want to participate in this contest but I just cant think of anyone to make! If anyone wants so shoot any ideas my way I wouldn't hate that!

We need more dudes! I started on a Larry Blaisedale and a Riley...we shall see if I finish. What about a Scott? Or Parker? Maybe a Mal Reynolds head would work for them?

Okay...here is my first go at Riley. He is quite the parts mishmash...a cyclops head, wesley arms and legs and torso...with the jacket removed and then i found that the cyclops vest would fit him...and then he has jayne's gun belt on. I wish the pants were less trouser and more cargo...but i did not feel liike sculpting the pockets and such... I think the cyclops head is a pretty good likeness for Marc (yummy)...I will try to do the face and finish the hair tomorrow. Not sure what to do for a base...what's the name of the section where spike is?? Guess i will have to watch some season four episodes for ideas.

Aly, you're on fire these days! Great to see so much new work from you. I like your boys so far. I'm sure you can get a likeness with those base heads.

Swim-Team-Metamorphosis Gage Petronzi I have a crush on Wentworth Miller from "Prison Break" so I really enjoyed making this figure of Gage Petronzi. I remember clocking him the first time I saw this episode. He managed to smoulder with Buffy in The Bronze, even though he wasn't supposed to be a love interest. That's a star waiting to be born! He's from the "Go Fish" episode. I used a Mirkwood Legolas head, Spike body, Belthazor hand and Wesley legs. I sculpted his very short hair and painted him to look like Gage. He's looking at his new claw in disbelief. I lengthened the torso and arms to give him height. I sculpted the shirt, claw and ripped skin. I used glue for the slime. I used paint and pen on his plaid shirt. I made the locker room from Wesley's cabinet doors and some cardboard.

Aly - so far Riley looks like Cyclops in an Initiative outfit, but I have faith in your likeness-fu making the face match as well as the body.
Sasha - as I've observed before, the different Legolas figures manage to look like a lot of different guys with just a bit of nudging. Here you've managed 'cool' and 'ewww' in the same figure: the glue works surprisingly well, and the rippy skin sculpting is very effective.

Thanks. I loved making Gage.
The thing I was most pleased about was getting his body in the right proportion. WM is very lanky. Wesley legs were perfect but Angel's torso/arms were too chunky and Spike's too short. I had the serendipitious idea of elongating Spike's torso and arms and covering the stretch marks with fish goo. Slippery goodness!

Behold... Ms French (attempt 2) in progress... Simply made from a Phoebe 1 figure, with a sculpted top. I know she was wearing a skirt, but I decided to give her trousers.

I am in the middle of my Riley custom and I would love to show it off for some oppinions but I cant for the life of me find my camera!!! Oh well, I need a new one anywasy! I was going to use a cyclops head but when I put it on the body it looked too tiny with all th eother parts I am usuing.
I am using Season 5 Angel upper legs and torso (minus the shirt) and I have some matrix lower legs and Jim Morrison arms. All of hte parts have been sculpted on so that he dosn't look like Frankenstein.
Sence the Cyclops head looked so small, I decided to try and use an Angel head. I lovered his hair line and csulpted his jaw line to be a bit broader and lower. I also closed the gap between Angels eyebrows so that his face looked less squinched up. I also changed his chin and how it blends into his cheeks/mouth. I think the likeness will be decent but it is hard to tell before I apint it.
Wish me luck!!!

I am working on a Cheer-Teen-Catherine Madison bust. I have the peices ready and set, just waiting for my sculpy to arrive in the mail. I am using a season 5 Willow head/body and deluxe arms and hand made pom-poms. I'm not 100% sure what I want to do with the base, but it maybe a trophey bottom...

She-Mantis Natalie French I made this Natalie French figure for the "Teacher's Pet" episode. I used a Vanessa Kensington head and torso with Deluxe Buffy arms and Anyanka legs. I sculpted the hair and painted her face to look toothy but exotic, like Miss French. I sculpted her well-proportioned body, with a white top and shoulder-padded black suit. I made her a lunch bag. She's also carrying books and a handbag. She has three eggs, some goo and Dr. Gregory's glasses on her stand. Eeew! This is a donation for Slay-a-thon's charity auction.
