Ok, I might not be entering two customs...Ms French melted in the oven in the oven!! what was she doing there? just a little tip don't bake your custom, boil them it will do the same effect on the sculpey and will not damaged the plastic...

Emcee! I cannot wait to see your Marcie...I was going to use a portion of my Invisible Woman as well...great minds think alike!
Yeah that hard sculpey is great...you can drag your tool throuogh it without any of the little bumpies things you get with the supersculpey. Its a little more $$$. I bought it at hobby lobby for 12.99. I usually get my supersculpey at Joann Fabrics and use a 40% off coupon whenever i get it...but i think it is worth it...seriously it rocks. We will just have to see how it boils up and paints now...

I don't think i have seen it at michael's yet...definitely Hobby Lobby though.
I am using it on my Kathy now..and found its a bit too stiff for some of the clothing work...but still awesome for hair.

Okay here is Cassie...still in progress. i want to make a base with some of Buffy's office maybe. She still needs sealing as well. This picture is not the best...\ And here is Demon Kathy using the obvious recipe...I am super happy with the way her hair and ears and rip off face came out...now to finish the outfit. I plan to make her side of the dorm room complete with Celene Dion poster (i think it was celine wasn't it?)...and a cher cd maybe... FYI, both kathy and cassie have the superfirm sculpey...it boiled up super well and i dropped kathy on her head by accident with not even a dent or crack. Thumbs up supersculpey firm...indeed.

HOLY CRAP ALY! Cassie's likeness is SOOOO dead on!
Kathy looks awesome! Great use of the Anyanka head (I think it's her's) I love the torn off face effect.
Great Job on both! ;D

stakey, Your Kathy looks great! I like the sculpted hair and skin peel. Your catherine madison looks amazing so far! It's hard to tell that was a willow head before and the detail on the skirt is wonderful. Great Job!
illyrobin, Cool Jenny! I think she still looks a lot like cordy, being that she's a complete cordy figure but I like the repaint and the creative accessories/base. I'm sorry to hear about your Ms. French, death by melting. But Great Job on Jenny!
Alyrenee, Your Cassie is amazing! Spot on likeness and Your Kathy has great detail. well done!
The entries so far are just outstanding. I'm still thinking about which customs I'm making for the challenge. The ones that I was thinking of making...I have heard several other people are making so I might do something else.

Aly, your cassie is stunning! I love her hair sculpt! So how is the new sculpey in boiling and painting? Im assuming fine as this custom is a balant winner! Also damn you on the kathy! Blows mine outta the water! although, her jacket was black and had a red pattern along the side.
Overall, well done. Your customs are fantastic!

Wow, I love your Cassie. Shes superb! I do think the head could be positioned in a slightly different angle so she isnt looking up. Her hair sculpt is incredible, and I love her shirt motif. Her poetry book is a nice touch too.
Kathy is also great. Hair sculpt once again is definately the high-light. And her base is really creative.

WOW this Cassie is like SOOO my favourite custom ever (and I don't say that lightly). The likeness to Azura Skye is just uncanny The only bad point is these abominable Anya trousers, I regret you didn't at least repaint them because I really think they always look weirdly sculpted. Plus it is not episode accurate, she was wearing a red skirt and converse shoes www.buffyworld.com/buffy/season7/vidcaps/help/help00316.phpI still think the top part is fantastic though

I think the anya pants are fine and look like baggy jeans...But I didn't realize I messed up on the outift though...She wears jeans later one and I must have gotten the outfits confused. Oh well..too late now since she is on the ebay...I had to get new brakes $600 so i needed to make some instant cash in the form of customs...accuracy was not the most important thing.
As for the head angle...I get what you are saying...but it seemed to give her a more slouchy appearance when i was working on her.

If the winner of the auction was on the board, (well if it was me, and it is not very likely to happen I guess ) would you agree to change the lower part???

I've just finished my second entry for the challenge. This time it's Jonathan from the season 2 episode "What's My Line Pt. 2". "Was that a demonstration?" I used a Fox Mulder head, Oz body, and Fox Mulder arms. Thank you to MsBig for the head and body recipe I modified his face quite a bit to try to get the Jonathan look. I painted his face in a bit of a startled expression. I still plan on making a couple more entries. -Jess

The sculpting on the sweater is very smooth and I like the pattern on his sweater. Kudos on the likeness too, He's spot on Jonathan. Great Job Jess!

Jonathon is fun...I would add something to his sneakers too...they are a little too nurse white for my taste.
