Phases-Werewolf Oz My nephew, Harry, is mad for werewolves, so I made him a Wolfy Oz. I used an X-Files alien and the head of one of Wolverine's wolf pack. I made the arms shorter, then sculpted the werewolf shape over the alien body. I couldn't see the werewolf very clearly on the DVD, so I went for as much of a canine shape as possible but still one that an actor could wear as a wolf suit. I attached the wolf head, then added height to the nose and forehead, plus lots more straggly fur, a mane and a tail. I liked the incongruity of a werewolf in a domestic setting, rather than out of doors, so I repainted Joyce's bedroom set as Oz's house. For more information, see: msbig.sashapowell.co.uk/mbframenew.htm Wo. this is a great custom. i can really see the likeness.

Sasha, your Werewolf Oz is astonishing! I love flawless the sculpturing is! It looks like a natural fur. The base is also very well adjusted, with great accuracy to that scene! Way to go!

Well this is the most annoying thing ever! I finished my two entries for this challenge...new moon rising Oz and 'phrases' Oz just before he turns into a werewolf, (goes perfectly with msbigs werewolf in a kind of before and after in a way lol) around the 17th and my computer crash so I never got the chance to put them up. Now my computer is back up I have lost my mums digi camera so wont be able to take photos and put them up and to add insult to injury I now owe her 300 quid!!! ouch!! So when I get a new camera expect to see my Oz customs then, as well as about another 10 angel ones which I have in progress and some finished. everyone, your customs are great. Msbig...loving the werewolf...he is tremendous!! I love the contrast between the beast and the domestic scene. Monkey pants Oz has a good likeness and is from a really sweet scene which I had totally forgotten about. Aly...I really like the idea behind the shirtless Oz.He looks to be a rather simple custom but is very effective and his scratches are nice. The veruca has a good likeness and wicked pose. Becky...the paintjob is so accurate and neat he looks really nice. I think a 'fear itself' theme base would roudn him off nicely...maybe he can share it with your joan of arc willow if you still have her. Buffyfanone...another good likeness from a different head. Love the hair sculpt and again the pose with the microphone really adds to her. Good job everyone...so gutted I cant put up my two entries!!!

That's too bad Stakey I have now finished sculpting my "Harsh Light Of Day" Willow-Saving Oz. I used a Lorne microphone stand to make the post thing Oz uses to pull Harmony off of Willow. I'll be painting him later today (it's early morning here now). Comments would be appreciated -Jess

I really like him! It's very Oz-ish but quite different than the real figure. I think the paint job looks great and clean, and the sculpted jacket looks great too. Excellent Oz!

Nice work, Xander000. He looks very ragged and feral. Great!
Lovely Oz, Jess. Good likeness, stand, accessories. Your work is getting better and better.

That's another good wolfy Oz, for the other wolfy Oz style the show employed. I look forward to seeing the finished version but he already looks suitably wild and dangerous. Well, my entry ain't painted and ain't got a head, due to... my having managed to lose it. So I guess we won't be seeing him tonight. (But I swear I have all the parts for the next challenge ready and waiting! )

Thanks to all those who participated in the challenge. Even though some weren't finished in time, we got quite a few Ozs, which was nice to see.
