www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_071107a.htmAdvance review of Chosen Willow, Kendra and Kennedy. I think they all look pretty good. Haven't been following the release of this line, so I will have to do some googling as to what has happened to the Willow variants. Cheers, Haeph.

I also just recieved the newsletter. It's really odd that they say that they are ready to ship in just a few days when DST has on thier website a August release date. This is one of the first times that I can't wait to get charged for something. I just hope that I get them before I leave for Ohio next week for vacation.

Its not odd at all. DSTs website often gets figures weeks after regular stores.

The problem is, if they don't ship this week, they might not ship until the 2nd week of august, with SDCC and Wizard World Chicago both coming up -- convention season is hell on the staffing of most of these stores.

I just got billed today from the BCC for the Deluxe Assortment of 4, although it didn't state in the email when exactly when they will ship. I am sure that it has to be within the next week though. I can't wait to get these and I am still hoping that DST will give us the Willow Variants this year.

Possibly. Last year, didn't TST prepare in advance for SDCC etc so that there was minimal wait on arriving pre-orders? I vaguely remember something in a newsletter ... Last year they did prepare really well, but I still remember some people complaining about delays -- some of those delays were due to shipping from DST and affected all East Coast retailers, but obviously not every company can keep up with convention season demand.

I can hardly wait for these to come!
I saw MWCtoys.com review as well. Normally that means that the figures are on their way to stores.
I received a T&ST newsletter, but not a BCC newsletter. The T&ST newsletter didn't mention that they were due to arrive so I appreciate y'all posting that here. Hopefully, we'll be getting our shipping notices soon!

According with mwctoys.com these figures have very big flaws in articulation, i don't know why they make two willows, both are the same, it's just a change in the color of the hair, they should release one with two heads and give us another variant. If the deluxe line is for August, the Oz line will be for december i guess or end of november just like Angel and Fred line, i hope it won't be limited.

The deluxe line and regular line are two separate things. I really doubt the next regular wave would be pushed back months just because the deluxe line was pushed back one month.

No release date. But once we see packaged shots, its usually a couple weeks until the figures hit. We will know on saturday if the figures are shipping to comic shops next wednesday.

Guess what! DST site has a new date for this line: 8/29/2007. So another 2 weeks delay! While the "Build the Judge" line also shows 29th August release. So either they gonna push it back or most of us gonna get bankrupted for sure! Edit: BTW, AFX.com has this listed with October 2007 release, while the "Build the Judge" line is September 2007.

I heard, from a VERY reliable source, that the release date has been pushed back because of problems with the factory and they want to make sure the paint apps are the way they should be before they are released...so we don't end up with another paint job like Faith. Personally, I hate that they are pushed back, but this reason makes it better with me. I'd rather have them a few weeks later with good paint apps then on time with crap paint apps. That date on their web site has been 8/29 for a few weeks now, I noticed it quite a while ago...I just didn't want to start another riot

And those looked good. I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks if it means better figures but I hope they don't use this excuse to push them back till October.

The michael crawford ones looked great- i hope that's the final product we'll be getting (it must be, why would they release some moc and then go and change them?).

Seeing as How Michael has his figures right now and they look excellent, they must be ready to ship and hit stores soon, so I don't think we have much to worry about.
