1) What's your favourite smell? The smell after it rains. I love the smell of water on the grass and the different smells it brings out. 2) What do you think of my User Name? It’s definitely creative! I was a little intimidated for awhile by you, because you had the most posts and was “the Second Evil!” but I see all this creativity and enjoy your username a lot! 3) What do you think Michael Jackson should do next with his life and career, now that's he's found some peace with himself in Bahrain. Do you have any ideas for how he could make a comeback? I think everyone deserves some peace of mind. He’s been through tough times, possibly even fallen into some money troubles, and is trying to figure out what’s important to him. I think everyone deserves the right to be happy, and Michael is no exception. I hope Britney finds what she’s looking for too. I think getting out of the public eye will be good for both of them. Going back to their pop roots and pulling out all the stuff that they’re both known for will be the key to getting back their careers! 4) Which MJ CDs do you own? Which would you like to own? I know my dad has some downstairs.. I just can’t remember which albums. I’d like a new Invincible copy and the Number 1’s album! 5) What's your view on Kevin Federline? He’s trashy. There’s not much more to say. I don’t like him and think Britney, and Shar Jackson, could do better. He’s not talented and not even technically a back-up dancer! Britney needs to divorce him, and he needs to get over himself. Milk! It’s tasty and good for you! And it makes ice cream - how could you not like something that creates ice cream?! J 7) What would be your ideal storyline for Ava's Season Four Return in Nip/Tuck? I’d like her to return to Matt and even meet Cherry. I think she could be a great asset as a surgeon or even to try and re-catch the Carvers. I can see her attempting to seduce Rhona Mitra’s character. 8) Did you feel let down by the Carver's 'Big Reveal' in N/T Season Three? I actually enjoyed the finale and didn’t hate it as much as everyone did. I like the double Carver thing and didn’t see it coming though I should have. Seeing that picture at the end made me gasp! I’d like to see the Carvers come back and maybe join forces with Merrill? I’d like druggie-Merrill back, as well as Kimber. I thought Merrill would have been the Carver, so I think next season will be very interesting. Gosh, I’m so addicted to this show! 9) Do you have the Firefly/Serenity DVDs? If you don't have either of them, can I bully you into getting them? I have both actually! I love Firefly and Serenity, not only Capt’n Tightpants, but cute Kaylee and beautiful Inara too! My favorite episode is either Shindig or Our Mrs. Reynolds. I‘d love more Firefly questions!!

Seeing as your always giving advice, whats the best piece of advice you've ever been given? To always have a positive attitude. Life will get hard at times, but it’s your attitude that makes the difference in the long run. My mother, and she’s always right… It’s scary.. And I usually hate that.. J Buckethead. It’s what my aunt’s ex-husband used to call me. Biting my nails, coloring in my planner, alphabetizing my books, and other activities. I also chew on my lip and mess with my necklace when I’m nervous. That's it for now. I might have some more later. Thanks Dan!! I appreciate such fun questions!!

OK I'm back. These might need a bit more thinking about.
1- You're locked in a room with anybody in the world: Best possible person it could be? Worst possible person it could be?
2- What type of personality would clash the most with yours?
3- You've been given the chance to create a movie of your choice: What would the main storyline be? Who would star in it?
4- What kind of stuff do you find funny: In a person? In a movie or TV Show?
5- Where would be your perfect place to live?
6- 'Buckethead. It’s what my aunt’s ex-husband used to call me.' That's a horrible nickname, why did he call you that?

1- You're locked in a room with anybody in the world: Best possible person it could be? Worst possible person it could be? Best Possible Person: Michael Vartan or either of the Davids. Worst Possible Person: I had this friend Andrea who I'm no longer fond of and that could get annoy... possibly Carrot Top or Bucky Covington (American Idol.) 2- What type of personality would clash the most with yours? Disorganized and messy. I cannot stand to be around people who constantly have lots of clutter and with whom organization is not a priority, possibly not even a blip on the radar! 3- You've been given the chance to create a movie of your choice: What would the main storyline be? Who would star in it? This may sound sad and dorky.. but I planned out a movie once. I was going to write a script, and if I secretly wanted to star in it. I'd be a young college student who falls in love with her biology/science professor (David Duchovny) and they begin to have an affair, while she secret doesn't know that her lab partner, a Southern ROTC wannabe (Michael Vartan) is in love with her. Somehow the school finds out about the affair and they go to court. The young college girl's lawyer (Luke Wilson) falls for her and they're found kissing and the whole thing is a mis-trial. Duchovny decides to leave the school and try to move on with his life, our young college girl is saddened and falls into the arms of her lab partner and there's a possiblity of them being together. 4- What kind of stuff do you find funny: In a person? In a movie or TV Show? Strange things make me laugh. Hick/Southern humor does nothing for me, as well as forced jokes. I'm more about witty lines and creatively funny characters. (in a tv show). In a person, I like to see people who can make fun at themselves without being self-pitiying. I like those who can find humor in random situations but not crazy ones. It's hard to explain... I'm not a.. you-know-this-will-go-on-forever- humor person, like "The Jazz Singer" (a really old movie). 5- Where would be your perfect place to live? Besides Croatia?? (I told you about that last night) I really like Kansas, but it isn't exotic like Croatia or Greece. I'd love to live different places to see what's the best fit for me. I really love New York, but I'm not sure if it's too busy and hardened for me. I tend to like happy places that really channel positive energy. 6- 'Buckethead. It’s what my aunt’s ex-husband used to call me.' That's a horrible nickname, why did he call you that? I think it was just a joke, because sometimes I'd put a bucket on my head (I was still a single digit age!) that or something I don't know... my aunt thought about changing it to "Duncan" for a week or so.. but she calls me Had or Haddams (which my grandfather calls me) now. I never saw buckethead as derogatory, but maybe I was too young. My next post will feature AA's questions!!

Thank you Harm's Way for the neat questions - I promise I'm working on James' too!! what word do you most say on AIM/MSN? Probably "lol" "how are you" (ok, phrase) or "bye" - I try and keep the best grammar I can. My biggest gripe is that there's no different between laughing and hysterically laughing and communication that to the other person. I really like AIM because it's so fast paced and you can talk to people from around the world! Yes, I do. I think people are fated to do certain things in their lives, are fated to meet certain people, and accomplish certain goals. I can trace events that stemmed from one event and if that one had not happened, my life would dramatically be different. I think this even more amplified in the Angel episode "Inside Out" (is that the one with Skip? If not, I'm sorry!) Skip tells him he was meant to do everything that he's done in his life to get to this moment. There's also an episode of "Felicity" that centers on how changing one event can make huge differences. I like to think that what I've done is meant to happen, but I also think people can challenge their fate by doing things spur of the moment that were not necessarily pre-meditated. Sorry about all that - I almost found myself in another long tangent - I have way too much time to think sometimes! what is the biggest amount of money you've spent all at once? I thought about this for awhile- With my personal money, I spent $100 on the X-Files season 6 set once -(way worth the money too!) My dad knew I'd saved up all the money and drove me to our local Target to let me purchase it. I'm really lucky because my parents started me out a few years ago paying my own credit card bills and managing my checking account. I have to pay off my bill in full every month and do not borrow money for them. I work too, and have really been able to learn the value of money. Just recently, they've been giving me set amount at the beginning of the month and it has to last me till the end of the month for lunches, gas, entertainment, dinner when not with them and other needed items. It's really helped me learn to budget even better before I start college.
My large purchases are usually at Barnes and Noble ¡V I've been able to send $75 there in 5 minutes.. do you believe in aliens? I feel that there is life out there somewhere. I don't necessarily think that they're little green men saying "take me to your leader" but that there are other life forms. I¡¦m excited for the day when we find life out there

Great answers, Hadley! I'm glad there's someone else who can't stand disorganised people Okay, so here are my next batch of questions: 1) What song best describes your mood lately? 2) Where would you and Michael Vartan go on a dream vacation? 3) Similar to what AA asked earlier in this thread, do you ever get tired of everyone expecting you to always be level headed and sweet Hadley? Do you ever just want to do something really mad just to prove them wrong? 4) If you could ask Michael Jackson one question what would it be? 5) Did you feel cheated when it was revealed that all the events of Angel happened just so Jasmine could be born – like it made everything that had happened kinda meaningless. 6) Will we one day ‘Heal the World’ and live in global harmony? 7) If you could live on another planet, which one would it be? 8) Do you have an I-Pod? If so, which are your most listened to songs? 9) What's the most precious thing in the world that we need to preserve? 10) Have you ever had a person who just doesn't like you for no apparent reason? That's all I think, I don't want to hog all of your time

There's much discussion in the media this week about the high dropout rates for teens in the U.S. About 30% of teens who start high school don't finish it. That number is 50% for Hispanics and African-Americans. 69% percent of prison inmates are high school dropouts. About 50% of dropouts aged 16-24 years old are unemployed
Many factory jobs won't hire dropouts, even if they have a GED.
As a teenager headed for college next year, what do you think can be done to help teens finish high school?
What do you see as the main reasons that teens are feeling discouraged about school and disinterested in getting a diploma proven to help them in later life?

Hey Hadley,
I'll follow up Maria's very literate and thought provoking question with the complete opposite..
Shawn of the Dead or Dawn of the Dead... love the zombies too:) Soft or Hard Ice Cream Charisma- long hair or short? What's your favorite non-figure Buffy item? Could you please explain to me the whole conspiracy mythology from the Xfiles (50 words or less)? Never really could get it all straight... black oil, supersoldiers, bees, CSM, mulder's sis?

Yay! I love your questions James and these are definitely going to have some long entries! Ohh, definitely! What's you theory on all of the above? Earth-wise, I have a huge fear of global warming, and this was even before I saw “The Day After Tomorrow.” I think there’s some truth to the emission of fossil fuels theory, but some of it I believe stems from just the gradual warming of the Earth. We are slowly revolving closer to the sun, and though it’s not likely to happen quickly, more ice will begin to melt.
Celeb marriages – I think they are hindered due to being in the public eye. Some are have really strong characters and have been able to make it, but those are the people who would have gone on have successful relationships even if they weren’t on TV all the time. I think marriage is hard, (I’m not married, but I see a lot of different types of couples) and everyone has bad day just like everyone else. Celebrities do everything normal people do in relationships, just that what they do is amplified on television and in magazines. I don’t think they deserve pity for this, because it’s the job they chose to do, just we choose to be accounts, writers, lawyers, retail clerks, etc.. Our lives are just amplified in different ways. I have theories about Britney, Jessica, Jennifer Garner, etc… but I’ll never know if any of them were true unless I sit down and talk to them.
AA – Let me know if you want to hear any specifics about celebs or certain philopsophers’ theories! -How do you feel about "Celeb" culture, with people like Paris Hilton becoming famous for no reason, and with younger people aspiring to be like her? I think in the media world, people are the way they are because that’s the way they’ve been marketed. Paris Hilton is marketed as an attractive dumb blonde. She has more money than I know I’ll ever have, as well as most of America. She gives off the impression that you can be stupid and still have whatever you want. To some extent I think that celebrities are able to bend the rules, but at the same time, they are judged constantly.
I feel that something drastic is happening with popular culture. When I was younger, I had people like Buffy, Reese Witherspoon, Melissa Joan Hart to look up. Both Reese and Melissa are no size zeros, and they’re gorgeous! I think women even 5 years ago had different standards, and no the only girls people have to look up to are people like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who have eating disorders, Lindsay Lohan, who’s rumored to have done drugs and have an eating disorder. I constantly hear about more women having to be that perfect 100 pounds, and it just doesn’t seem real. I wish girls today were able to have the same influences I did. -I'd love to hear your opinion on the following: Abortion I personally believe that women have the right to choose. I do not think abortion is a good thing, but I think women should be able to choose whether they can’t go through with it for whatever reason it may be. One of my best friends is Pro-Life and we still get along, so I hope everyone on the board respects my opinions and no fights are started, because I respect everyone’s opinions on these issues and enjoy calm debates about them. There are many different sides to this issue! Homosexuality I believe it’s hard enough to find someone you love in this world. If you find love with someone of the same sex, you should be allowed to be with them. Gay marriage Same as above. You should be able to spend the rest of your life with the person you love and trust. The sex of this person should not matter, you’re promising yourself to another, and attempting to live a happy and fulfilling life with another person. President Bush I was a big Bush supporter in the beginning, but my tolerance for him is dwindling. I do not think he’s a bad person, just a bit tired of his job. He has what I think is one of the top five hardest jobs ever, and he’s doing with it what he thinks is right. I personally, don’t agree with some of his decisions, but he would not be the only one to blame, he does have advisers. Only time will tell what happens, I just hope we’re able to keep other countries’ liking us and that we’re able to finish what we started in Iraq. Terrorism I view Terrorism as a non-corporeal enemy. Terrorism is not a person we can fight, but it is brought out in many different forms through people and their views. In a perfect world, we could all get along, but as long as we have countries that do not respect others’ religions, views, policies, etc, we will never have worldwide peace… Just a little respect and some cooperation, things around the world might go a bit smoother. I know it’s not that easily fixed, but I can only hope for the best. And what do you think, right now, the world's biggest issues are? What things would you really like to be able to change and make a difference in? Some of the world’s biggest issues, in my eyes, are world hunger, poverty, the war in Iraq, foreign affairs throughout the world, AIDS and other diseases, and technology. I wish we could try and end world hunger, but I’m not sure the best way to go about it. With technology, I wish our government would allow stem cell research so we’d be able to work on curing, or at least treating, diseases and cancer. I hope that in this decade we discover a cure for the AIDS virus, and are able to find where it originated. I wouldn’t mind a cure for the common cold either…. I think it will depend on how the world is able to work together. Sorry..didn't mean to get TOO intense on you there! I do not mind at all! I love discussing politics as long as everyone can respect each other’s opinions and don’t resort to any name calling. A woman after my own heart! I definitely think Caleb was sexy as far as preachers go, he was a hottie! Although, the "evil" think would possibly put a crimp in any after-church dates I might have had planned... -Why do you think Caleb was the way he was? Do you think something happened to him in his early life? Or that he was just born evil? My guess would be, and this would make a great book or fanfiction, but I do think it was something that happened in his life. He may have turned to God and not found what he wanted. I try not to believe that people can be born evil, I just think it would give me a negative aspect on life. -If you could have played a Buffy villain of your own creation, in a season of the show, what would your villain be called, what would they be. what would their motivation be, and how would they be defeated? I would have minded being the Britneybot for “I was made to love you.” Other than that, possibly an Illyria-esque demon or even something similar to the Flukeman from “The X-Files. There could also be some demonic high school girls… not much different from ones I’ve met…(jk..jk!!) What do you like best about Buffy and Angel? I love how they are such smart and intellectual shows below all the Vera Wang dresses, Armani suits, and attractive actresses/actors. The scripts are brilliantly written and are such metaphors for real life. I would find myself going through similar things, and truly wishing I could kill a demon and make them go away. I really found my individuality through “Buffy” and realized that though no one else would understand it, I did and that would be what always mattered to me. I sort of became a Buffy character in high school. I really rejected the popular clique, and surrounded myself with smart and funny friends. I consider myself a bit ‘weird’ and ‘odd’ and then just ‘theatre student’ and that’s me. I’m very much myself and I put the real me out there everyday. I’m not a “partyier”, and that sets me apart from the majority of my school, but I just have never felt the need to be immature with substances. My mom and aunt have always treated me as someone older and I’ve known what’s been going on in reality for a long time, so as I’ve gained trust and made my own decisions, I’ve earned more trust and respect from others. I feel very independent, and I think I’m able to be more independent because characters like Buffy show how well independent women can accomplish a lot. But again, she also shows you that you need your friends, the Xander-shaped ones and the Angel-shaped ones! How much do you love the marriage dream sequence from "The Prom"? To the point where I’ve probably seen that scene at least 30 times… I would just rewinds and rewind… I think it would have been great to have Buffy marry Angel, but it would ruin the wonderful Buffy reaching self-actualization and not needing a man to be truly happy and content. You are given the chance to run your own town, what would it be called, and what laws would you put in place? Also, more importantly what kind of stores and restaurants would be on Main St. of Hadleyville? Probably, (if I had to pick a name with Hadley, I’d probably just call it Hadley - because there is a town called Hadley!) other than that, Felicity Falls, or something quaint like that. I imagine it being a bit like Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls) because everyone would know everyone else. Normal laws, no excessive speeding, lots of pink, lots of festivals. There’d be Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and other eclectic restaurants based on different countries. There would a ton of cute boutiques with different types of clothing, including one like my mom’s with Lilly Pulitzer clothes. I’d also like a media poster and prop store. There’d be a Target somewhere, and cute little pink shutters on the store fronts (not of the Target of course…) What do you imagine for yourself in the future? I’d love to go to college, take all the classes I want, be able to go to Washington D.C. and hopefully work for the FBI or somehow in international relations. I’d like to get married and live happily ever after too… but I’ve always wanted that. I’d really like to also travel and see the different places I’ve always wanted to see. -Do you believe in redemption? Would you be able to forgive someone who did what Faith did to you (bodyswitch, boyfriend stealing, mother-beating etc.)? It would be hard for me, but I do believe I could forgive someone. I’d like to think I’d be able to. I do believe in redemption, and I think that if both people can admit to what they’ve done, they have a starting ground. I’ve forgiven some people that my friends really wish I hadn’t. The joke that I’m “second chance” girl - the one who’s always offering to try again, get back together, or continue to be friends. Lately, with school ending, I’ve become a person who tries to save her friendships, the ones that are worth saving. When unnecessary drama occurs, I try my best to avoid the drama-creators. I think it’s best to keep your positive relationships and discard the negative ones. You can continue to forgive people, but when it begins to wear on you and effect how you sleep at night and how your friends at towards you, something has to be done.
I’d like to think that if all that happened with someone but they really wanted to start anew, and put forth the effort, then I think I’d eventually be able to forgive them. Which "celebrities" can you just not stand? The Cast of “Friends.” Don’t hate me… but they just got uber annoying to be all those years. I like the show, but the actors get waaaaay to much press. I’m also not a big fan of Brad Pitt (the person, not his movies, I love his movies), any of the crazy longhaired guys on American Idol, the ‘new’ Jessica Simpson (I loved her as the Christian girl next door), Ryan Seacrest (I can’t stand him!!), Katie Couric, and there are probably more and I just can’t think of them right now….

1) What song best describes your mood lately? Hmm.. Tough question! I’ve really been in my 50s mood this week, so something along the lines of “Mack the Knife” or “New York, New York.” If it’s my mood.. Probably “B****” by Meredith Brooks. I chose this because I’m feeling like so many people rolled into one, plus, I ‘rocked’ out to it in my car today. As much ‘rocking’ as a Kansan girl in a 92 red BMW can do… 2) Where would you and Michael Vartan go on a dream vacation? We’d probably go to a nice resort in either Cabo San Lucas or Grand Cayman. We’d lie out on the beach and go to fun restaurants, taking in sights and kissing under the moonlight. In my mind Michael Vartan is a great kisser… 3) Similar to what AA asked earlier in this thread, do you ever get tired of everyone expecting you to always be level headed and sweet Hadley? Do you ever just want to do something really mad just to prove them wrong? I sometimes wish I were as confrontational as I used to be. I try to keep everything in perspective and not blow up at people a lot (which I used to do). I enjoy being nice and helpful, but I could never imagine doing a 180 and becoming Kathryn from CI. I’ve been known to ‘get my AA-Attitude on’ and even snap at people. I can’t stand to see any injustice, especially when other’s gossip about my friends blatantly in front of me. I don’t really have time to see people put others down, that’s when I start to be angry. I try always to be levelheaded, I couldn’t imagine a rash version of me. I’ve been known to have my moments, and I’ve gotten mad. I haven’t gotten as mad now that I don’t take math in school anymore though 4) If you could ask Michael Jackson one question what would it be? How would you like to be remembered? 5) Did you feel cheated when it was revealed that all the events of Angel happened just so Jasmine could be born – like it made everything that had happened kinda meaningless.. I thought it was interesting. I sat there for a minute and went.. “woah” just trying to take it in. It was a smidgeon of an easy-out, but it was also different view to consider. I would have liked to have known more, but someday, maybe through a novel or a spin-off we’ll learn more. 6) Will we one day ‘Heal the World’ and live in global harmony? Here’s hoping. I think it’s a nice goal. 7) If you could live on another planet, which one would it be? Saturn. I’ve always loved Saturn. The rings are gorgeous and the moons have beautiful names. 8) Do you have an I-Pod? If so, which are your most listened to songs? Yes I do! It’s a Mini Ipod and it’s pink. It was a birthday gift from my boyfriend, and I love it. My most played songs are “Toxic” by Britney Spears, “This love” by Maroon 5, “Somewhere only we know” by Keane and many others!! 9) What's the most precious thing in the world that we need to preserve? Our humanity. We need to remember that we’re all human, we make mistakes, and that nobody’s perfect (as Afer brought up in the Repost it thread). I think it’s important for us to remember that we all have strengths, weaknesses, flaws, and are all different. 10) Have you ever had a person who just doesn't like you for no apparent reason? Well… I’ve had people they tell me they just don’t like me because I’m me, not because I’ve ever done anything, but I’ve also had those not like me because I’ve stuck up for others in front of them, or made them mad in some way shape or form. It happens… That's all I think, I don't want to hog all of your time You’re not hogging my time at all! I love your questions!!

Hey Hads! I really like your answers so far. I too, as you know, am a x-files fan. Okay, here are my questions, Hope you like them. Thank you so much for the questions Nick! I hope you enjoy what I’ve written! Have you ever read one of the X-Files books? I’ve read all the novels and the majority of the guide books. I love books, reading them, collecting them, so I enjoyed getting all the different versions with neat covers, etc… I didn’t like a few of the novels, but “Antibodies” was my favorite. Were you an X-Files fan from the beginning or did you come on late? I watched it throughout the time it was on, but got into it after the finale. I know that sounds so bad!! I’ve got most of them on tape now, and am working on getting the rest of the dvds. I hate that I caught it after most of the merchandise was over, but I love it, and am still a huge fan!
Did you like the final season of X-files?
For me it had its high points and low points. I really enjoyed Annabeth Gish’s character and the episode “Audrey Pauley.” It really made me anxious about people trying to take others’ organs without knowing if they were really still alive or not. I enjoyed the finale and the collection of characters. The ghosts were a nice touch too. I loved the Burt Reynolds episode with the numerology. Burt dancing to “For Some Sentimental Reason” will be with me forever.
Buffy Questions- Favorite Slayer (Not Potentials)?
Probably Buffy, and then Nikki Wood, I wanted to know more about her. Nikki seemed vivacious and I wanted to know her back story and how she was able to keep a child while still fighting vampires. I think I’ll get my wish though, there’s a book being made around her.
Chao-Ahn. She always made me laugh with her subtitled replies to Giles. Her reactions to Andrew’s white board drawings were also nice.
Buffy and Angel, and after that, Willow and Tara. Then of course, my wannabe Buffy/Xander relationship. J
The Mayor! He’s hilarious, witty, evil, and loves root beer! After that… Glory for her amazing style, and the interesting demon lady from “Doublemeat Palace,” because finding out what’s really in fast food restaurant food is a huge fear of mine.
Angel Questions- Favorite Season?
Season 1 and Season 4. I have favorite episodes from other seasons, but I think 1 was a great introduction and had Doyle and “IWRY” and 4 had the best mythology, different sides of our favorite characters, and a very attractive Wesley.
Skip, Lilah, or the Prince of Lies. The Prince of Lies because in “Why we fight” he has the line that goes “I’m the Prince of Lies! I’m the Prince of Lies!” (or something similar) and I couldn’t stop laughing. He was pure comic relief. Lilah, because she’s beautiful, bad ass, and has a conscience deep down. Skip, because not only was he funny, but he pulled the rug out from under Angel and co. in S4.
Fred and Gunn or Fred and Wesley. I liked Gunn and Wesley a lot when they’re with Fred. We get to see more of a human side of them, and how they react to more domestic situations. Both were doomed love relationships, but I was still rooting for them all the time! Cordelia and Angel could have been good, especially after “Waiting in the Wings.” In WITW, I love the scene where both Gunn and Wesley try to put their hands on Fred’s thighs. It seemed like such a ‘teenager at the movies‘ cutesy thing!

There's much discussion in the media this week about the high dropout rates for teens in the U.S. About 30% of teens who start high school don't finish it. That number is 50% for Hispanics and African-Americans. 69% percent of prison inmates are high school dropouts. About 50% of dropouts aged 16-24 years old are unemployed Many factory jobs won't hire dropouts, even if they have a GED. As a teenager headed for college next year, what do you think can be done to help teens finish high school? I think they themselves have to have the motivation. A lot of parents are either really strict with their kids about school, or not strict enough. The school does a lot of work to try and keep kids interested, and provides them with lots of different classes. Some kids just don’t want to be there, and you can usually pick them out. At my school 98% of the graduating class goes on to some sort of college, ranging from Ivy Leagues to Community College.
I’m not sure what more they can do except give more money towards education than creating more weapons for the War in Iraq. Some schools are more worse off and cannot provide the classes, good teachers, or ability to keep kids with textbooks, reading books, and a safe way to school and home. These are the schools that really need the funding, the schools that cannot pay teachers to teach there. I think added funding will help with the process some, but other than that, the motivation to do something with their life and see the value in education has to come from the student. What do you see as the main reasons that teens are feeling discouraged about school and disinterested in getting a diploma proven to help them in later life? I think that with money being tight and the economy in a crazy place, people see getting a job instead of school or college to be more profitable. Insurance is so high that being a doctor sometimes isn’t profitable, and with the rate people sue, it’s hard to be in any business and not screw up! It’s the people who believe those things that don’t really try. I had two really smart friends, one I believed could even have been attending Harvard this fall, instead wanted to waste their high school years drinking, partying, and having lots of sex. I think it’s the thought that something is “Easier” one way, and “harder” another. People don’t like to work for what they want anymore, they want it handed to them. Many decide to take the way my friends did and are going to schools they wouldn’t normally and will try to make it there, but could possibly succumb to the things they did in high school. I think getting a great education, continuing your education, and trying to do what you want to do most in life is the way to go, therefore you’ll always know you attempted to have the fullest and most successful life you could have made for yourself. Shawn of the Dead or Dawn of the Dead... love the zombies tooJ We need to chat zombies and X-Files sometime Sharon!! Both of those are two of my favorites - I’ve got them both on dvd (the original ‘Dawn’ of course). I think I love the original for all the symbolism and the neat concept, but Shawn has that zombie montage to Queen…. Both so good. I think I’ll have to go with Hard Ice Cream due to my love of Baskin Robbins! Charisma- long hair or short? Long! She has GORGEOUS dark brown hair and she should always keep it long and beautiful. It’s nice to have a short cut every once in awhile, but I prefer her hair long. What's your favorite non-figure Buffy item? ::looks around room:: I’ve got a Buffy martini and wine glass, though I’ve only put water and Moutain Drew in them, I love them! I’ve also got multiple boxes of Buffy Chupa Chups lollipops to eat till they make me sick, some Buffy pillows, and a cute Drusilla bag!! I‘ve also got a Buffy towel (and Charmed one too!) Could you please explain to me the whole conspiracy mythology from the Xfiles (50 words or less)? Never really could get it all straight... black oil, supersoldiers, bees, CSM, mulder's sis? Mulder’s sister was abducted by a crazy pedophile-esque man than taken again by aliens after her father had been sending her away as collateral for awhile. The Black Oil somehow contained alien DNA that could mutate a human to hatch an alien. CSM oversaw the alien/human conspiracy that led to crop implantation of a similar substance to the black oil, while the super soldiers were what I think were aliemn/human hybrids and larger than life. Woooo… I hope that’s correct, anyone feel free to correct me. I’m sorry that was a tad longer than 50 words! Which Buffy character is most overrated? I’d probably have to say Buffy. She’s wonderful and great, but sometimes they played it up as a single star show, where I found it more ensemble-esque. Buffy is the main character, the lead, but at the same time, “Buffy” would not be “Buffy” without her amazing friends and foes. Which Buffy character is underrated? Xander and Giles. I don’t think the cast of crew appreciate them until time was up. They were always there, always positive characters and from what I hear, great men in real life. How addicted to this forum are you? on a scale of 1 to 10? Ooh! Probably a 9. (10 being the highest!) I’m here always during 5th hour at school and in the afternoons and at night. I spend a good 3-4 hours on the forum, or talking online with occasional glances at the forum or the Tag Board. The tag board had me online almost a full day once! What kind of Buffy merchandise that we don't have yet, would you like to see made? (bookends, snowglobes etc?) I want Buffy replicas of her clothes… sooooo badly!!! Other than that, bookends and snow globes would be awesome. I’m rooting for a Buffy/Angel Amends snow globe! I also wish there were Buffy sweatpants.. I found some pink ones on the Victoria’s Secret site with wings just like the ones on the “Angel boxes” and ordered them. Other than that, Buffy phones/phone covers, stereos, and I saw a picture of a Buffy bus once. There need to be more of those, and in Kansas.
