This one has so many problems, I didn't even bother pre-ordering. The head sculpt, sans the heavy wrinkles, I could live with. But that pose? Those ill fitting poorly tailored clothes? Nope, he's not a $250 item. It's terribly disappointing too after how terrific the Spike is.

I pre-ordered just in case but if he remains this dodgy I shall be cancelling him.

I don't think it looks that bad at all.
Regardless, I have placed my pre-order, I wouldn't think of not getting him; given I will have all the others that have been released.

Well I know it's probably too late, but people could try emailing Sideshow and complaining about the face. Maybe if enough fuss was caused and folks threatening to cancel pre-orders then they may try and alter it.
I know I'm going to give it a go.

Wheres the address to email them? i clicked on Contact Us but there nothing about General Enquiries?
Do you think, realistically, they would change anything on the sculpt and outfit at this point? I mean, this hasnt even showcased at SDCC yet, so does this mean that production hasnt started yet? If it hasnt, then there still a chance that they will change the outfit aswell, or at least the jacket? I mean, it production hasnt started yet, then they havent even made the outfit yet? Wayne

Well whatever point they're at, it's still worth having a go if you think that strongly about it.
How does any company know what their customers think of their work unless they get feedback about it.

It's not bad, not 200 pound good though.
I like the outfit.

I actually pre-ordered this as soon as I could. I figure they'll fix the issues with the human head sculpt, and even if they don't I'll just display it with the vampire head, which does look awesome. Plus, I'm an obsessive completist, so I had to get this. Now my problem is figuring out where to display all these 1/4 scale statues -- they don't exactly fit on normal shelves.

Time warp: After the 12" Spike came out, even though the preview photos of the next figure to be released didn't look like it was a good likeness, many figured that, with the excellent track record so far, the final released version of the next figure would be perfect, and any problems were either an optical illusion due to bad lighting on the photo, or would be easily fixed before release. In any case, it would be a much better seller than Spike.
The next figure was Faith. She was horrible, and can still be bought cheaply.
So now, the next PF after Spike is this Angel. And some people are saying that, despite the photos, it can't be too bad because Spike came out so well. To which I say, "Faith."
I'm really hoping that they DO fix it, because I'd love there to be a great-looking PF Angel figure, but I'm not counting on it.

Yes, I have a horrible feeling that you're right there.
Very sad indeed.

The figure is not perfect, but I still like it. You are a little hard with it.

I pre-ordered, but only because of the exclusive vampire head. The human head and pose are definitely lacking. Oh well. This PF figure will still look good with the Buffy and Spike ones.
