There's a trader on eBay who's selling of her back collection of the original Spike Sideshow figure at the moment, and if you're not fussed about having them removed from the box, well then this maybe is your answer to get hold of one cheaply. She seems genuine enough judging by the feedback and how long she's been a member of eBay. She's has over a 153 Spike dolls though! Thats right, 153 copies of the same Spike doll! Dear god! Nowonder she's selling some!! search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZallforspikeQQhtZ-1Remember these Spike dolls normally change hands for getting on for $100 each, so it's a bargain! Sadly she won't ship abroad though. *ETA* She only has three left now...

Sounds like a bit of a nutter! Why on earth would anyone want 153 spike dolls??!!! And i remember this person buying them- she/he was paying hundreds of dollars for each one! And now she sells them so cheaply? Strange one.

Yes, she does sound 'odd' to say the least.
Don't hate me, but I've managed to buy one of her that had slight paint damage over one eyebrow for only $15!!!
I got one of my American friends to get it, and then I'll pay for it, plus shipping back to me.
I think that will mean that it would have cost me around the £24 mark in my currency. Still very much worth it, as I can easily touch up such a small scratch.

Good on you for getting one- they are super cheap. If i were selling them i'd be doing a proper auction and making a load of money!
Her listings sound so funny...what's the deal about asking if everyone is on vacation? And saying shit like SPIKE BELONGED TO ONE OF MY LOST ANGELS DOLLS. I'm laughing at it all (i really hope the person isn't a member of this board...or mentally ill, cos then i may feel guilty).

LOL, Browncoat!! That was really strange! What's the deal with 19280372287468263 thousand Spikes anyway? Building an army, is she? Oh, and congrats Sue, but for me, it looks like I'm not getting a Human Spike so soon then

Well obviosuly her 19280372287468263 thousand lost angel dolls were lonely and spikey was keeping them company. Maybe she was trying to breed them.
Here's another gem:
I AM LISTING A COUPLE OF SPIKES THAT WERE PAIRED WITH DOLLS, BECAUSE I NO LONGER HAVE THE GIRL DOLLS.
Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Ahh...this is insane. I hope I can get one before they are all gone. She had some for $15? Thats crazy. I saw ones for $30 and there are a bunch for $60...but $15...I could afford that!

Oh so you've bid against her in the past then?
There's still a few left as she's added a few more boxed ones for $60 each.
Still a good price I think considering the average MIB goes for around the $100 mark.

SHE IS CRAZY! I just bought one of her about a week ago. I have 18 emails from her. I paid for insurance and asked her to mark it fragile and she accused me of planning a federal crime and then said she wouldnt ship, etc. she was CRAZED!!!
So BUYER BEWARE!!! i have the emails if anyone is curious...... i did get spike, but i would have rather paid more for less hassle.......
good luck if you bought one!!

Oh blimey! We'll just have to see.
I received an email from her just now saying she was shipping mine off to my friend tomorrow. So far she's seemed okay with me. *crosses fingers*
If it all goes wrong at least I won't have wasted much cash. Only £12 in my money.
At least you finally got the figure though.

IIRC, there were many of the Spike that came from the factory with errors. She seemed to buy up the entire defect lot. Odd. This will kill Spike sales for a while though for those considering selling their collection.

well lets face it, a woman who has over 160 spike sideshow figures has to be mad. I mean, come on, she must have a whole room, kind of like a Spike shrine. Thats just weird. but hey, im getting a sideshow spike out of it, so who cares lol Wayne

. Browncoat - you remember this person buying them? Yeah, i'm sure this person has been mentioned on the board before. She was paying huge amounts for the spikes. She's probably the one who started the whole spike inflation thing to begin with
