Owww !!! It's gone !!! I so wanted to see the picture, but am annoyed if it is the same figure mould. The jacket is really starting to irritate me now ;D If the figure is based on "Triangle" I am a little miffed aswell. I mean it is hardly a big Tara episode like Family, Tough Love, Hush, OMWF or Seeing Red. Wonder why they chose that episode over any others

I would have prefered if they did it on a more important episode based on Tara since it is a Amber Benson excusive. They could have easily of used some Willow parts to make it better than the other tara's like: Tranformation Willow repaint with Tara head="Seeing red" Tranformation body with Tara head and skirt reapaint=OMWF Tara. I don't like it that every Tara figure has the same sculpt, Anya has a new scupt on almost every figure and same goes for Willow.

The Willows used very few sculpts:
3xHeads 4xTorsos 1xLegs (maybe 2)

Anyone still have the image in their browser cache? In your browser, goto the File menu and select "Work Offline" (remember to reset this afterwards). Then goto the site where you saw the pic. If it's stored in the cache, it should pop up. Otherwise it will ask if you want to work online.

I am dying to see this Tara! They keep coming out with new figures, it's almost impossible to keep up. It would be awesome if it was a OMWF or Seeing Red Tara, but it seems like those will never be made. ;D (except for customs of course)

Yay Blimey - gave myself eye strain looking at that hehehehe Thanks Cordy & JD. Well that jacket is definitely getting on my nerves......... But I like the autuminal colours & can see how good it looks to the actual outfit Tara wore in that episode(through a magnifying glass hehehehe ) but I don't think her hair style will match ;D And the lack if zigzag partings were annoying me already on the other Taras !! ;D I will no doubt buy it, and thank DST for producing more Tara's for us, but come on - get rid of the blooming body sculpt & give us somethin' new, just like you did with Willow & Anya !!!! ;D

Oh shoot! Its a stupid, stupid repaint! That is annoying! What is so annoying about these Tara figures being repaints? Diamond has given us A LOT of variety with sculpts for the Willow and Anya figures, so does it really matter that Tara has repaints for now? I mean...she did get another scan done. That indicates that it's possible for a brand new figure to be released sometime in the future. Besides, all of these repaints change the Tara figure immensely. It's not just a simple change of color for the shirt/pants/skirt (like we saw MAC do figure after figure)...it's a whole different figure. A whole different figure based on a specific episode in Buffy history. That's got to count for something... -CMK

I am glad DST are doing what they can to cater for the demands of us fans, but why a Tara figure from Triangle ?- it is hardly a significant episode featuring Tara. And as pointed out by others in this thread perhaps a body switch could have been made using Willow parts ...... This is just my 5 pence worth, and I will buy the figures regardless. I like that the colours are new & different, but at the same time was hoping for a new pose on the special Tara figure, something a bit special. Maybe that's what the new scan of Amber Benson will bring us in the future

Oh wow. That was so worth making. ANOTHER Tara repaint. And this can't be helping our chances of getting a OMWF Tara. DST are milking the sculpt, bringing out another way-to-fimilar figure, boring potential customers, (come on. who needs 4 Taras in different colour outfits) and therefore damaging sales, and increasing the risk of making a Tara thats actually worth buying.

it looks an okay re-paint. doubt i'll be getting it though. i can barely afford the other 8 without adding more to the list.

Hey guys, why all the complaining?
You want a OMWF Tara or a Tara in pants... fine. Let's look at what we have so far and WHY we have it.
Normal Tara - Semi-accurate figure using a horrible scan (thanks to MAC).
Hush Tara - Repainted version of above figure to increase sales of the regular cases.
Two-Pack Tara - Part of an exclusive twopack. Cinequest chose this to appeal to Willow/Tara fans.
Triangle Tara - Amber Benson herself gets this exclusive.
Yes, they're repaints. No, you don't have to buy them all. Yes, it's good for future Tara figures to see that people DO want them... even if they ARE repaints. No, it does not mean we'll never get another Tara. Yes, it is based on a "non-Tara" episode. No, it does not look the same as the other Tara's thanks to a distinctive color scheme. Yes, I want one. No, I'm not thrilled about repaints.

Is that "Stop moaning!" statement directed at me by anychance JD? I know I've been Mr. Complaney pants an'all (sorry btw)but I really wanna know if me and other fellow Great British citizens are gonna be able to get our grimy, limey, hands on this new figure. I'm trying to get all of DST's new figures but they're not making it easy with all their show exclusives and stuff. I thought it cost a bomb getting the old figures off eBay, but it's looking like some of this new stuff is gonna finish my wallet off for good.

Well think about it like this guys:
When the Hush Tara from the 2 pack was shown, people complained because the jacket wasn't accurate.
Now, we're getting an EPISODE-SPECIFIC Tara that matches the sculpt that they have to use. We were told they cannot afford right now a new Tara sculpt, so they're working with what they have. Be thankful.
