Cool! I figured the amulet Anya came with would be the Amuletof Anyanka. Im glad hers isnt tucked into her dress though...thats wierd on Anyanka....its also weird that she didnt have articulation/amulet for mostof the con. I guess now OMWF Anya and Bunny Anya are the only Anyas we havnt seen with articulation! Wedding Anya I think looks better with it. Im also glad they fixed the sagging dress on her. I cant wait to see OMWF Anya with articulation!!!

Dear Chaos,

I'm not sure that Anya actually comes with an amulet. I think DST may have taken it off their Anyanka figure and put it on the Anya just for fun. I'm not sure though, I can't remember which figure gets what accesories, right now.

The figures look fantastic, cant wait to get them. I love the detail on Hells bells anyas dress. she looks butifull.

DSTs sight has just the word "Amulet" in the descriptoon of both so since we havnt seen any other Amulets, and Anya is wearing it I assume thats theone she'll have.

Those are great images of the Anyas. I like how you have all the angles and zooms to show off the details of the sculpt and paint. I think that OMWF Anya's green shoes are offputting, and that the black shoes looked better.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Flobbster. I'm gonna get a gold pen and color off all of that bright yellow plastic on the pendant.

Also, I think the paint job on regular Anya is a little weird...does anyone else agree? It looks like she's rolling her eyes or something.

I agree, her eyes could be fixed to be looking a little more straight instead of up.

Regular Anya looks AWFUL! What's with her odd skin-tones and awful facial features? I KNOW this can be done a heck of a lot better because MAC DID IT! If she ends up looking like that, I'm going to be pissed.

Wedding Anya looks good from the back. Her hair looks nice, and they at least made the back look semi-like it should.

OMWF is still my favorite, and I'm dreading seeing the final pics of her. They're going to ruin her, I know it.

Going to get specific:

Wedding Anya: This is the old one, so I can't say anything about it. The hair is much better though than I thought it was.

OMWF Anya- I now feel better about this one. Having seen the hair close up I like it A LOT more. I'm confident the earrings and shoes will be changed, fear not. Maybe they could use some mettalics on the butterly or something?

Anyanka- Ok, a few issues. I don't like this gold thing on the rags. They look too...Elton John-ish. Also, that amulet...we're talking Toy Biz here. What happened to the GOLD necklace on the string? That looks...really bad heh. I don't quite get the dirt around her feet though. If they want her to be standing in a dirty spot, spray the dirt on the base first so they dont leave the imprints of her feet. Also, who sets these things up? hehe she looks like sh'es doing some funky dance. Other than those few little things, I'm pleased.

Regular Anya- Again, for the most part I'm pleased with this. I unlike some others really like this Anya. The only thing throwing me off is those eyes. They need to be looking straight and not up. Also her mouth is just an itty bit off. Don't know if anyone else noticed but they did change her hand so she can hold things now. That's a plus. It's a shame about the lose of articulation but I'm sure future sculpts will all be able to move in the biceps etc. Can't blame Diamond on this though, MAC sculpted em...

I also VERY much appreciate the shelves and drawers behind the counter. I had no idea that would be added. That is a GREAT touch!

I agree about the Anya thing, her eyes are strange, i thought it as soon as i saw the picture!
But Im still not happy about Anyanka:(
