Hey all!
I just received 2 WWW's from diamond and both had major paint missing on the nose (like they put in the package before it was done drying and paint came off). VERY UNHAPPY with this, and the sad part is cannot exchange for another. ;-(

This is the last figure handled by MAC, it's their fault not Diamonds.

You can thank MAC for that. The White Witch Willow is the last figure they produced all on their own. It was shipped late, has serious packaging problems, has serious paint application problems, and was shipped in flimsy boxes. Thank you MAC....
I'm so incredibly glad DST took over the Buffy and Angel licenses. Toward the end, MAC couldn't get anything done to save their lives. I'm a MOC collector, and having a WWWillow with a crappy paint job and no possible replacement since they're sold out is frustrating. I'll probably try getting a good one on Ebay sometime.

Thanks for letting me know. The other figures are just so great looking it was a let-down. But, as the saying goes, at least I got it. ;-)
Thanks Again for letting me know. ;-)

So far, all my Willow's are perfect, but hearing all of these horror stories and seeing some pictures of paintless Willow's is starting to freak me out. I can only hope they fix this problem so there are absolutely NO complaints in the future with ANYTHING. I remember when everyone went nuts cause (and this happened to me more than once) everyones body parts were breaking just from TAKING THEM OUT OF THE BLISTER! insane! So if things are getting less and less, then it seems like it's only going uphill in quality. I know I'm being a major captain obvious, but i'm just saying.

My carded WWW was the same way. It's pretty sad how MAC treated what could have been an awesome figure. Thank God for DST!!! I am so glad that they are in charge now.

My WWW also has paint chipped off of its nose.
I also received mine on an extremely damaged blister card.
If anyone is getting/has a MOC WWW, and is planning on opening it anyway, I'd appreciate it if you might be willing to trade with me. I keep all of my figures MOC, and I want to see if I have any other options before sending the figure back to DST.

I asked DST what was up with the WW Willow and how the packaging was horrendous compared to all the other Willows... they said "Hello Kelly! DST did not do the packaging for the White Witch Willow figure. We bought MAC's inventory on this figure so we could fill orders. This is how MAC already had them packaged so we had to work with what we received. We did however do the packaging on the other five figures." My WW Willows however are in good shape (figure wise) I just put my extra one on Ebay... WIll the WW Willows be better in the spellbook?

Yeah the quality difference between WW Willow and the others is very noticeable! Mine also has a chipped nose. The lack of articulation, tackier seeming plastic, cheap packaging and lame base make her seem more like a knock-off than an official figure!

I just love the way everybody turns there back on M.A.C. Its pretty pety of you all, i mean its not as if they arent in charge of the figures at all, just because diamond picked up the line it doesnt that M.A.C are out of the picture!

No, it does mean they're gone. MAC is no longer in existance. They're done. Finished. Closed.
Clay Moore is still helping as a sculptor, though. I'm glad DST is keeping him around so the newer figures will still be in the same style as some older ones, but I'm really glad he's not making the business decisions anymore. It's entirely MAC's fault that we had problems with WWWillow. THEY reduced the articulation. THEY changed the packaging to a cheaper style. THEY didn't check for quality. THEY packaged them in the flimsy boxes. THEY didn't give us the new base and accessories we were promised. THEY delivered the product late.
Not that MAC never did anything right, but toward the end (after he had fired all of the good employees) it was obviously not working.

Speaking of flaws and paint problems, my Transformation Willow's black eyes are really messy and looks like she is crying black ink. My S5 Willow's teeth aren't painted properly which makes it looks like a few teeth are missing.

Sorry for saying that but HAHA (to MAC)
I got 2 WWW .one for display and 1 is on card
The one i displayed is almost perfect (i painted her nose)
But the carded one sucks !!! her nose have a black point and there are some streaks in the face ... it looks like an scar and the paint from the shoes smears on the packaging

I to got a WW Willow with a chipped nose. That figure just plain sucked! it looked like a todler put it together. There's no pose, the pins on the base are too far apart, and who the hell wants a floppy sythe anyway!?

Those reasons are why I think the Spellbook is going to be such a hot item. It's the only place to get a decent White Witch Willow.

I agree, but I think we will still get a floppy sythe with the spellbook. We'll have to wait and see. DST would have used the same mold for the Scythe in the spellbook, but MAC used different (cheaper) materials than DST.
