I think a subboard might be cool. One for writing and one for pics.

But there are only two shows - there are over 10-12 fanfics running/one shots/stories etc... it doesn't balance out

I agree with Hadley. Just yesterday or two days ago my new episode was posted and it was one away from being on the 2nd page today. I posted something to get it today. But yeah, I agree. There are some people who are away on vacation and when they get back think "He still hasn't posted a new one!" Go Hadley! I like the idea.

Seeing as I am one of the Figure Show creators, or how you so call it "Photographed", I'm fine with what ever is decided. But one thing I do not agree with is your suggestion of a posting limit.
I am not one to post an episode ONCE a week. And as you can see, I post one every 3 or 4 days. And if you cared to notice when I posted two episodes on the same day, I used the SAME topic. I didn't post them in separate topics like I would normally do to two episodes.
So all in all, I'm saying I'll be fine with a sub-board. But I will not appreciate a "2 Posts a week"
Im sorry if this offends anyone, but read the title then think about replying.

I agree with LG - People's fanfics are going un-read.
SS, I didn't find it offensive, you stated your opinion nicely. I think it's great that you post in the same thread on the same day, it helps a lot. But feel free to correct my math. I personally, and bluntly, feel there's no need for a sub-board. If we were doing sub-boards then every fanfiction writer would be deserving of their own, and if check out a site like Chosen01's fanfic site, you can see how well that can be done, but we don't have as many fanfics as they do. The lack of fanfiction has led to the lack of contests and challenges in the section. I'm personally going to try and head up a writing challenge or work on a contest because I feel that a lot of the incredible writers don't get the credit they deserve or don't write at all because the section has been taken over.
So, organization is what I'm pleading for, and a little cooperation on the ends of the action figure show people and the fanfic writers.

I do understand what your leading to. And there are actually two points that I would like to make in addition.
1. Afer posts, lets say once a week. I post 2 times a week. That already meets your quota, without going over board.
2. LG's new episode was pushed down because it seems Afer felt the need to comment on his OLD episodes which pushed newer ones down. There is no need to bring OLD episodes up at all if you have a newer episode already up.
Am I wrong? Or was that not the problem?
A simple problem with a simple solution

Also I'd like to add that I feel Figure Shows are exactly like your "written" shows. They both contain scripts and they both use pictures to help the story.

Yeah, I started a challenge, it's going a little slow. I think spring is a busy time with people and I'm okay with that. But as you can obviously see, that page with my challenge is a page if not pages back. I don't think it had that much time for people to see. I really like the idea of so many posts, a day/week. Like if you see someone who has just posted 2-3 episodes in a week and you are maybe do 1 every week or every two weeks, I kind of feels condiscending. It makes you feel like a slow writer.

My blunt comment for the day:
You have a booger hanging from your nose.
LOL. Oh, how I want to embarrass somebody today. LOL.

Then why not just have 1 topic per show?

I agree that they're semi-the same. Now try not to take offense of this, but a lot of the writers for the "written" fanfics do put more time and effort in their work. Like I said no offense is meant. But as you can see we aren't putting out 3-4 episodes a week. And some of us like people pulling up episodes. But we also try for that not to happen here, so we have our fanfics on Chosen01's site. So don't take offense please

I think for every show have a comment thread specifically to comment on all the shows that have been created. Whenever a new episode is created, lock it so it won't be bumped. Also, in ever new episode post a link to all the old ones. Did that make any sense?

I think for every show have a comment thread specifically to comment on all the shows that have been created. Whenever a new episode is created, lock it so it won't be bumped. No offense, but that will only get more disorganized, because "I liked it, it was good" can be one comment for everything.

LG I didnt take offense. But no one posts 3 or 4 times in a week. Me - 2 Afer - 1 And im saying theres no need for like episode 3 to be bumped up if your on episode 7

I think it's best we make a rule that fanfic writers post once a week, whatever form it may be, once in awhile people can announce things, but they'll go to the bottom anyway. The episodes w/ comments will stay towards the top, and the first page will be littered with new ones. I didn't want it to come to rules, but it may have to.

Here's my random thing for the day. If I post an idea for a custom recipe in my thread and say I'll make it soon, don't make an identical figure to what I had planned if you won't give me credit. Night all

With permission, I've been given the chance to set ground rules for the section. They aren't too bad, and should help organize the section a bit more.

Now if you go to The Fan Fiction thead you can see my example
6 of Afer's episodes were boosted up FROM FEBRUARY! We're in April people if some of you don't have calendars... And they were all boosted by him!
That's something that shouldn't be acceptable I can understand. But limiting # of episode posting a week when it was fine?

It's not fine, it's crazy. I have to go to the second page to get fanfics even when afer's aren't boosted up. I haven't gone back and checked dates yet, so I don't know how old afer's are. Afer's will move down the thread line as the new rules come into play. We're starting anew here.
