Oh Wow! We're getting a Kristen Bell action figure. I'll definately be getting her but I'll be calling her Veronica. I hope it turns out to look more like her than the VM bust did. I just pray that the line doesn't get cancelled like the Lost line. I was really looking forward to getting Claire so I could call her Tess.

Well, I don't know if I'll get these until I see them in person. But right now I think Mohinder will be the only one I get. And if Matt and Molly look good I'll have the M3 household. Would have been cool if Nikki came with Micah.

figures.com posted a bunch of photos of the figures, but there is an additional figure I hadn't heard of yet ... future Hiro... did I miss something and he's part of the first series? 2008reviews.figures.com/showphoto.php?photo=2819Also they don't have any photos of the normal Peter figure, only the PX variant.

I agree the likenesses are so much better. I am glad that Mezco changed them because now I really like them and want them even more.
I am really disapointed that there is no Isaac figure in the plans, I was looking forward to seeing one. It's odd that each character from the first series comes with one of his paintings but we wont even see him in figure form.
So how many figures are their exactly in the first series? Are we actually getting 8 figures? I mean there are: 1. Peter 2. Sylar 3. Claire 4. Hiro 5. Mohinder 6. Flight Mode Peter 7. Damaged Claire 8. Future Hiro
If this is true this will cost a lot of money to get the entire series. Time and Space Toys has the rougly at almost $15 a figure. When I went to FYE or Spencers to see the Goonies figures made also by MEZCO they were almost $20 a figure. I just hope that I have the extra money to get these. I will definately have to get the variant figures first though, just to guarantee that I have them.

Damaged Clair is not a different figure, those are just replaceable parts on the regular figure (just as Hiro has that "Time Freeze" head). So it make those 6 figure: 5 standard + 2 variate (Levitating Peter and Future Hero).

I have a feeling Future Hiro wasn't supposed to see the light of day yet ... either he was made as the series 1 variant but then they decided to hold off till a later release, or he's a special exclusive (for a store or a con maybe) and someone messed up and took photos of the wrong figure. I mean we haven't heard anything about him except this and the mistake on the case lot on the website right?

www.action-figure.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=22593The folks over at Mezco Toys send us a very cryptic email saying that will interest Heroes fans going on display at NBC's New York HQ sometime today... Mezco sends us a very cryptic email concerning Heroes Mezco writes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezcvo Toyz will have something interesting for Heroes fans to see in a special display case at NBC's 30 Rockefeller Plaza headquarters -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I suspect it's one of the protoypes we saw or announced at the UK ToyFair. If you missed the article you can find it HERE And if anyone does make it over to Rockefeller Plaza, take a camera, take some shots, and send them in!

"Hiro, Claire, Peter, Sylar, and Mohinder stopped into NBC's famous offices at 30 Rock today when Mezco Toyz delivered the prototypes for the new HEROES action figures which are scheduled to be in stores in mid June. Generally, prototypes are never seen by the general public, but because of the interest in the HEROES action figure line, NBC will be adding the prototypes of the figures to their popular studio tour. They will be the only place the public will be able to view the HEROES toys until they arrive in stores later this year. NBC will have the figures on display until April, at which point they will be auctioned off for charity." www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=126&show_article=296&nl=1

it's amazing how the paint job improve the likeness so much, even so Peter is still weak on likeness, the others are excellent.

Wow, these look so much better now. In the original pictures, they looked like cheap cartoon characters. The paint job makes them look so much better. I really want the damaged Claire!

I thought the next two series looked great! The Adam and Elle figures I thought were spot on Matt wasn't great but I love the little Molly that comes with him. As a whole I think they are doing pretty good with the line.

wow I didn't even realize the new figures were shown. They look great! I think most of the likenesses are spot on ... to the point where they actually make series 1 look sorta awkward.
