WOW personally I think this line is lookign F**King awesome!!!!
There is SUCH an amazing range of characters! It would have taken DST like 5 years to get all these people out! Im well impressed!
The likenesses on the males to me are pretty freakin amazing. Matt looks awesome! Only one whos a bit iffy is nathan but the actor has such a different face Im not surprised. The rest are just bloody brilliant I think.
the females however...need work. Elle looks pretty bad...I was mega excited for her cos of kristin bell but im very underwhelmed. But I will wait for final product. Nikki is looking good. I see a likeness but theres something kinda harsh about the sculpt...still think shes okaysih like the claire.
oh and omg...bless molly. How adorable is she next to matt!
Overall, I know everyone pretty much seems to not like these so my post probs looks out of place on this thread lol but im bloody loving these figures to be honest!
thanks for the pics!!

Wow, these are so wicked cool! And I cannot believe they already have protos of future lines!!! It's gonna be one expensive line...since I'd be definitely getting the entire first series, Future Hiro, Future Peter, Adam, Elle, Niki, Matt and Noah.
OK, I just saw another gallery of Mezco's Hell Boy license and wow...if the Heroes 3.75 line gonna be as equally good then I'm definitely gonna get those instead (plus, I already have an unused shelf for 3" ornaments, thanks to DST). This is the 7" Line: And this is the 3.75:

I agree about the Hellboy figures. MEZCO is definetly picking up their game when it comes to figure. I now look forward to see what other licenses they get.

I know I'm a dork, but I'm so excited about the HRG figure! Hiro as Takei Kensei is really awesome, too. I think the Nikki likeness is decent, though they've sort of lost her beauty in the translation. It's more of a Sin City type figure, with bitterness and kind of a craggy look. Parkman lost 40 pounds! He definitely doesn't look like that in real life! I'm loving Future Peter:

MEzco get the buffy liscense off DST!! They are supposed to be 7", so more in scale with NECA/McFarlane rather then Buffy, but the female characters might be smaller scale and work with the larger head DST figures. I agree though, after seeing the work MEZCO has done with this license, I think they could do amazing things with Buffy.

Wow, rarely have I been this ambivalent about a line of toys.
One the one hand, I'm really liking what I'm seeing, but on the other hand, I'm completely baffled that Heroes is getting this elaborate action figure treatment. I mean, does Heroes really have enough appeal to make this into a succes? I like the show and all, but planning three waves for a show whose second season has been pretty badly received? And to top it off, the character selection features more than a few obscure characters... Linderman, Adam Monroe, Future Peter.... I mean, TV shows don't often get a toy line and when they do, only a few have been really extensive. This is a show which has only had 1.5 season and they're planning 15 completely different figures! Even in the haydays of Buffy, MAC couldn't pull that off. And more recently, McFarlane didn't have too much success with the Lost figures, even though that show has an broader appeal than Heroes (I think, don't flame me on this one). On a side note: I would LOVE to get figures like this for Lost! I liked the McF ones, just because I was happy to get figures of any kind, but if a line like this is possible for Heroes, why not Lost?!?
And the ambivalence continues; some headsculpts are downright excellent (yep, there they are again: Linderman, Adam, Future Peter, all great, but also HRG, Matt and Nikki look promising), but others are really bad (Claire, Sylar, Nathan).
And finally, I'm even undecided whether I will buy these! I like Heroes, even loved some episodes, but at the moment, I don't see it becoming a cult classic like Buffy; which brings up the question if it's worth getting memorabilia like these....
OK, sorry for the rant, it's just toys, I know...

I liek the figure of elle, very good likeness of kristen bell but the lightning feature in her hand looks too cheesy, hope this looks differnt once the final product goes out.

I disagree the idea of Buffy line by mezco, mezco it's very cartoony all the time, even so, that Nikki figure can really turn in Kate Lockley easily. The line it's unbalance, some figs are great, some others aren't, i really like this Peter from the future and Nikki, even so the price isn't great either. I think the likeness of Peter it's really good right now, excellent job, probably grab some of these.

Just realized how many Alias customs can be done with these lines (since they are also 7" scale): Elle Body + Sydney head = Sydney Bristow Nathan Body + Vaughn head = Michael Vaughn Linderman body + Sloane head = Arvin Sloane Matt = Eric Weiss Adam Monro = Julian Sark And Noah's body could fit for Jack Bristow (with a proper head). Perhaps along with DST BTG's Caprica Six body and Jessica head we could have a nice Lauren Reed as well. And we've got a pretty good set of Alias Characters with simple head swaps!

I mean, does Heroes really have enough appeal to make this into a succes? I like the show and all, but planning three waves for a show whose second season has been pretty badly received? I'm confused. What makes you think that Heroes is badly received? It's one of the biggest hit shows in the U.S., where it is produced. It's a giant show here. It's much bigger than any other hero type show that would inspire action figures. Not only is it a hit, but it's a hit on one of the three major networks, which require higher ratings than the shows on smaller networks like Fox and the CW. Heroes is consistently one of the top shows of the week, getting between 14 and 16 million viewers the first season. Maybe it's not a hit in the Netherlands, but it's giant here in the US. The comics are selling much better than most comic books inspired by a TV show. There is a bigger demand for the action figures than for most shows. I'm pretty surprised that anyone would say that Heroes was "badly received." It's a monster hit. Buffy never had nearly the ratings that Heroes has had. Buffy was an eccentric cult show on a fledgling network (the WB). I imagine that the company is trying to put as many figures out as quickly as possibly because you never know if a show that has such a meteoric rise as Heroes has had will maintain it's popularity. If they dawdle, they could lose their chance. I don't know about how the Lost figures sold. However, Heroes is tailor made for the comic book/action figure buying crowd.

In regards to Season 2, in actually wasn't really received all that well. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but the 2nd season lacked someting the first season had. In regards to the figures, I'm still really not that impressed. Elle is just crappy looking in any up close shot, Adam is way too narrow at the torso, I don't need a figure of the Haitan, Nathan's likeness is off, Peter just looks odd (perhaps it's the outfit choice), Matt's too thin, Samurai Hiro is hunched weirdly and Linderman is an unneeded figure (but I will admit the likeness is great). The only figures that do anything for me at all are HRG and Niki. HRG has a good likeness and is the only one with decent articulation. Niki, while not perfect, is pretty damn close to perfect, and actually looks realistic unlike most of what is coming. What really bugs me though is the lack of articulation; I think she has 4 points tops.
I'm sure I've been spoiled by NECA and the like, but something about the cartoony-ness, poor likenesses, minimal articulation and akward proportions that affect most of the line is just making it hard for me to invest much in this line.
