I just wanted to let everyone know that I just got an email billing from the Time & Space Toys Buffy Collectors Club for the Buffy Vampyr Book. It will probably ship tomorrow and I"ll get it on Friday. I can't wait, it seems as though I have been waiting forever for this item.

Finally! I wish they would e-mail us updates...I have not gotten any type of e-mail from them in like a month.

Cool. Please post some pics. I really want this prop, but I don't have any money at the moment, so I'm going to have to wait a few weeks before picking it up.

Mine actually shipped yesterday according to the DHL notification that I got from T&ST BCC, and is due to arrive today. I think that my Free Spike will ship with it, seeing as they told me that they just got it in and they would be shipping it soon. I can't wait to get both, although I don't have a digital camera to post pictures unfortunately, I will let everyone know the details of the item as soon as I open it.

So I got it yesterday and I love it, it's heavy which is nice that its not a cheap item. As for the books detail the border and letters of the book aren't as gold as they are on the actual item and the clasps on the side of anything, they are just for decoration.

I want to say it's about 9 lbs as that is what the shipping invoice stated. It looks lighter than what it really is. I'm so glad that I got it.

Got my book....Very big and heavy. VERY dissapointed in the paint apps. Seems they just 'sprayed' the brown on, and it has huge splotches all over the white pages. Mine was very dusty, and actually really smelly. Seems like they rushed these out to meet the delayed 9 month deadline

The prop that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con actually didn't have a very good paint job either if you want to compare it to the original book. I can see why you're disappointed. Looks pretty sloppy. Oh well. I'm going to buy it anyway. I might have it painted by a paint master if I don't like it in person.

Because from that pic its very dissapointing and looks like it was still in the library when the school blew up. But if someone knows someone who could repaint something like that, then I'm all for it

Yeah, the proto wasn't great either, but I didn't expect to see tons of overspray on a $100 item.

I just e-mailed a painter to get a quote. I'm guessing that a new paint job will easily cost more than the replica itself. Prototype Actual prop

I already heard back from the painter. A repaint will cost approximately the same as the book itself. Depends on the painter of course.
