Wondering if there is source for custom wear / alternative clothing for Buffy Sideshow figures? Customisers, online shops, Barbie, etc.?
IMHO, I don't particularly like Willow's choice of 'bunny' clothing nor Darla's school girl look. What alternatives are there? I would really like to see these 2 figures wearing something else... hence, have refrained from hunting them down yet.

Yes, the Sideshow Figures have much wider hips than the Barbies. And the SS feet are huge! LOL!

I like GI Joe stuff for the boys and a lot of the stretchier fabrics will go on the Buffster: Spike has on Ken's Mickelman silk pj's here and a Ken tee & shorts Here's the gang in their soccer shirts Buffy has on some Teen Trends jeans that fit her pretty well. Click these little ones to see them bigger.

Definately--opstoys.com is an excellent source for just outfits & parts, along with oldjoeinfirmary.com. Let me know if you can't find the addys and I'll be glad to hook you up with the links. ALso, goodstufftogo.net has loads *bit hard to navigate unless you know the companys listed* and Ningyoushi.com has 1/6 scale Mexican wrestling masks!
I got Spike 4 pair of real leather boots from one of these companies--they're great--tiny laces and metal heel taps and hobnails, also some riding boots in black leather.

Thanks, Sue, I think it belongs to Takara Jenny *Japanese Barbie* on ebay. I wish I could find a ManU shirt for him like those other footie tees. I don't have a clue where we found those shirts. Do I remember you re-touching punk Spike. I'd love to see your version again.

Thinking to commission a tailor to make some custom clothes for Buffy, Angel and Spike. Of course Buffy has fashion sense so guess she's wearing different outfits every episodes. On the other hand, not sure if Angel and Spike change outfits much. Granted, I haven't sat down to what any Buffy episodes in some time.
Which outfits would you all suggest for Buffy, Angel and Spike from the episodes?

Well you could try the outfits that both Spike and Angel were wearing the the episode Fool for love/Darla when they were still part of the 'fanged four'. Granted you'd have to alter their hair, which would mean a custom job. But it's worth having a look at I suppose. Apart from that they pretty much wore the same sort of outfits all the time or at most slight variations of.

I would get chosen buffy clothes because that's my favorite outfit. Of course, sideshow might make her from Chosen so that isn't the best idea on my part. I put my gd buffy in the Lois Lane doll, from superman returns, outfit on buffy. -John

I've always wanted to customize a Sideshow...but the problem was always the clothes...I have not the time nor effort to try and sew anything!

CustomDawg or Louie is also the main guy behind Triad Toys triadtoys.com/estore/index.jsp . They will be releasing a new 1/6 scale body this November. When they come out my PG Buffy and Subway Spike are getting an upgrade.

Those are gorgeous! Thanks for that tip. I figure my kids will be getting the upgrade, too. That male body is fab. They look like resin. Have you seen a pricepoint?
