The Power of 3 united again yesterday for a tour of Buffy, Angel and Charmed filming locations.
We went to Angel's Mansion, the cemetery used for many of their cemetery shots, especially in Buffy season 1, Wolfram and Hart's outside setup shot location, they Hyperion outside patio Sunnydale High, and the Summers' home, a Craftsman in Torrance, just 3 blocks from the Torrance High School.
The place where the filmed some of the Hyperion's inside shots was just a vacant lot. They recently tore down the Ambassador Hotel.
Here the three of us are outside Angel's Sunnydale Mansion.
It is actually a Frank Lloyd Wright home called the Ennis House near Arno's home in the hills. It is currently shut down for renovations after earthquake damage. A one-eyed killer watchdog barked at us the whole time.

Next we went to the Rosedale cemetary, where many of the first season's cemetary shots were filmed.

OK, maybe it's not THAT Snyder, but it was still funny. Arno and Eva thought it was bad luck to dance on a grave and photographed me from the car. They might have been right, because I twisted my ankled and hit my head on a cement bench that day. We kept thinking it was Snyder's ghost punished me for my blasphemy.

The Sunnydale courtyard and the steps where the battle was fought between the vamps and the students plus Angel in Graduation Day Part II:
Eva and Arno in front of the the Summers' home. It was super dark. Not only was the sun almost down, but the house is hidden in a lot of trees, so it's VERY dark there. The street is much narrower than it looks on TV:
Me in front of Buffy's house. There was an old lady reading in the front room, so we were trying to be sly, but our flash bulbs were going off like crazy! ;D
