Can anyone tell me if this figure exists and if so, how exactly is it different to the normal one. I've tried comparing it with various pictures, but they're just not clear enough. My Buffy 1 has darkish hair with light sort of streaks, I'm getting all excited that it might be a brown hair one!!!!

Apparently, several Buffy S1 figures had a factory defect: they weren’t painted in blond (over the brown). MAC destroyed most of them but a few “survived” and now some people sell it as a variant.

Those are error figures... something that slipped past quality control during production. The "brown hair" Buffys are probably a production change, if more than a few were made. I have an Ikon Spike that has an upper right arm piece on the left arm (instead of the upper left arm piece as it should be). And a few Star Wars error figures, like a Tatooine Ambush(?) Anakin Skywalker whose accessory didn't get painted (the basket thing); and an Ephant Mon without a tail! Some people think error figures are worth quite a bit since they're unique; and other don't think so since it's a defect or whatever. All a matter of opinion I suppose...

I find it funny that most pics people put up on ebay are really poor quality, when it comes to something like this Buffy error figure. Notice how the second pic is all dark at the top of the pic? Right where you'd need to tell if it's brown or blonde? I dare to say that is not a "brown hair" Buffy figure. Just by looking at the first pic, you can see a lot of blonde. But, who knows...

Thats auction is for a regular Buffy, this is a complete ripoff.
Even cinequet, who sells under the ebay name searchers. shows blurry pictures.
If you want to sell something for $200 take a minute and photgraph the item, sheesh!

Thanks for the pics, they helped alot.
I also have the brown hair Buffy, one packaged and one opened on my desk.
I've seen it around alot. and only now realize that I don't have a regular blonde hair Buffy!
That's so funny!
I'm gonna sell my "brown hair' Buffy now!!!!
Also I can see why people who sell it on ebay don't show clear pictures, the brown hair seems to be very common. Just check ebay auctions for the reg Buffy figure and It'll probadly be a brown one!
