Not sure really. It's the right colour, but I think not being sparkly will spoil the overall look.

i thought the same paul BUT i had a good idea and it worked well, i think it did anyways. i need your opinion guys. About a year ago my sisters friend gave me a can of spray glitter for painted surfaces, ive never used it so i dug it out and gave the fabric a slight spray, which gave the right effect of buffys dress. i think the chances of finding fabric as close to colour as this and sparkly is pretty slim, so i think this will work fine, i will be able to add more glitter is necessary, obviously the pics dont show it very well, the light makes it so much better. although there are stripes, i think that as its glittery too, they look fine what do ya'll think wayne

The glitter definitely makes the stripes less prominent, which goes a long way in getting the dress accurately. If, like you said, finding a fabric of the same look isn't likely, this would work terrifically. Seeing which way the stripes will look best, either vertical or horizontal, will be the only thing to worry about.

Definitely more glitter and vertical stripes. Buffy would never wear horizontal stripes. She would be forever asking "Does my butt look big in this?" :-)

hey all, ive sprayed the fabric with more glitter, and i think its gonna be perfect, sure the stripes arent actually in her dress but i think this is the closest im gonna get. whats hard with fabric is, since this scale is small, the fabric looks thick, although it may be thin in real life, when its put onto a smaller figure, its looks thicker, this is hard to explain but trust me, thats how it is! ive finished on arm, except for the hand. ill do the other one tonight, the boots are done. then ill sculpthe neck and hair. i might use grey primer on the figure, to get a smoother base coat first, although ive never used it. im hoping to get her done my tommorrow, although the sanding is the biggest issue on this, is the exposed skin. where im sculpting over the joints, the sculpey needs to be exactly flush with the rest, otherwise it will be seen when its painted. im using 3 grades of sand paper to get the best finish possible ill update later wayne

I love the work you've done on the figure. The design and sculpting look great.
I don't think the fabric is the right colour. The promo photo has odd lightling so you can't see it clearly but that dress was creamy-yellow/hint of green, where as the fabric you showed looked ivory.

i know the fabric looks kinda dark in the pics i took but it isnt that dark, they were taken at night and with the flash. its more creamy than that. i know from the pics you showed me, the dress does looks green, but i actually like it better in the promo pic, as im going off the pic, i think im going to base it using those colours, if that makes sense wayne

Holy Mother Of Crap!!!!
Im lost for words....wait no Im not....Incredible!
That sculpt is amazing! I don't know how you do it but you're so good at sculpting. Down to the last detail, the creases in the boots are so realistic. I cn't wait ot see this finsihed and see all the other ones. Pleased don't get tired of doing them down the line like your OMWF collection( yes im still waiting for the rest...).
If you do all of these they will be fudgin incredible!!!!!
