Hey all, this is my new project! Im making a set of commemorative statue for each of the Buffy Seasons. This is Season 1, i used this promo shot I used Sculpt-a-Mould to make the base. Which i made using the picture as a reference! I then added spikes skull accessory, which isnt in the picture but i think looks great and also supports her leg. i then used an old felt tip pen to make the candles, i then used plaster to cover them and make the dripping effect. Buffy is made from PG Buffy, i removed her head and removed all the hair using pliars. i then positioned her in the still soft base, and then glued the joints to stay in that position. I have started to sculpt over the joints, but these pics where taken before! Id love to know what you think, Comments and Critisms Welcome Wayne

Looks like porno gone wrong at the moment but when its done it will look fantastic.
I love the idea and hope you dont get too bored of it by the end and only do about three. I think you should make all 7 then sell them 'cos it will be amazing to have them all displayed together.
One thing though, I can see this being very hard to sculpt especially with the pose but the base is fantastically sculpted with the candles. Very cool!!!

Woah! That is amazing! Awesome pose, great photo to go by... can't wait to see her done and the rest of this "Commemorative Line." I really like her heels and the way her hands are posed. The skull is also a great addition!

This is going to be amazing when it's finished. I really love the idea of a statue style 12in figure for each season. I really love the base!! The candles and skull make great accents! I think your going to have a lot of offers on her when she's finished.

I think doing a statue is a great idea. I really like how you recreated the base and the skull is a really cool touch. I'm sure with your customizing skills, this will turn out well. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Wayne! This is so cool! I love the pose and the base is fantastic! The candles are genious and you can bet I will be coppying that idea! I started a 6'' custom using htis picture as reference but I never finished it because I didn't have a Buffy head. I might just finish it now that you have inspired me! Keep us updated with many many photos!!

thanks guys, here are some new photos. ive sculpted over and sanded her knee joints and have now started her shoulder which hasnt been boiled yet! ive also sculpted one of her boots. i looked at the photo and saw that they are skin tight apart from the creased ankle joint, so i sculpted the top part of the boots and sculpted over the shoe and the wrinkled ankle joint il liking it so far, im pleased with it, what do you guys think of the boot? wayne

Another brilliant idea well executed. You're getting good at this Wayne. Have you ever thought of doing this professionally? :-) I might have to bid on this when you put her up for sale. Buffy in Boots, how sexy is that?

thanks for the comments guys, im doing more work on it as i can, although im having trouble finding the fabric, i have some that sort of colour but it has lines in it! ive sprayed the base with black primer, otherwise itll absorb my paint like a sponge lol. but the black paint really helps to show the roughness of the base to the smoothness of the candle wax, im pleased with how she is turning out ill post more pics soon wayne
