Both the vamped Dru and the human Dru figures were painted too dark (IMHO) - darker than even the very tanned Cordy, which makes her look very odd next to the quite pale Spike figure. I decided to fix that by giving her more of an alabaster skin tone. I also painted her dress white, repainted the makeup, added some jewellry and modified her hairstyle (incorporating the pinned curls at the back from the vamp Dru figure). Check it out at www.geocities.com/touchthefire2000/page2.html

I did something similar, I repainted it and devamped the vamp dru head since it had the better facial sculpt, I just knocked the bumpies off.

Wow. That must've been quite a bit of work!
I decided to borrow the hair from the back of vamp Dru's head and put it onto the back of the regular Dru head. I plan to re-use vamp Dru's face for another custom - perhaps a vamped Darla or some other female vamp.

Cool! I like the addition of the sleeves. I think it makes it a more Drusilla-like dress.

Hey, thanks! Yes, I think it's more of a Drusilla outfit. If I wasn't so lazy, I would've revamped the figure a little more (no pun intended), getting rid of the boustier completely and making it look more like her white empire-waisted gown. But, I think a coat of paint does the trick fine.

Awesome! Love the touched-up makeup. That and the hair curls on the back of her head make that head sculpt look so much better ;D And of course the correct skin tone

Wow! That looks really good. I like the new skin tone. What color did you use? It looks much more natural.

I use Liquitex Acrylic Paints when I paint custom figs.
For Dru's skin colour, I used a mixture of light portrait pink with a little burnt sienna added to warm it up.
