This was a bit of an experiment. Kieran asked me to make him a large Buffy bust, and he really wanted her from "Chosen", but I feel like I've done that episode so many times that it's difficult for me to find a new angle.
So... I took a risk and completely resculpted the face into a different expression. When you sculpt skin, you lose the smoothness of the shop-bought faces (unless you're a professional sculptor, which I'm not) but at least you get something different to the plastic doll look. It was difficult, but I enjoyed doing something new and challenging.Not-the-Only-Chosen Buffy Buffy the Vampire Slayer• 7.22 "Chosen" • Buffy realises that she is now free to make her own destiny - Faith: "Yeah, you're not the one and only chosen anymore. Just gotta live like a person. How's that feel?" Recipe - Thanks for the Parts!• Hush Buffy 1:6 head and torso (Sideshow Toys) • Large Angel Bust base (MAC) Sculpt - September 2016• Shaped the sides and back of the torso to resemble the shape of the male MAC bust • Resculpted entire face to change her expression to a thoughtful smile • Sculpted hair and coat

Aww this is lovely!! Great custom especially to see Buffy with her final smile as a custom! And it works really well! I know it's hard to pull off more complicated facial expressions, especially since there were no smiling figures or busts of Buffy (aside from that dreadful buffybot lol!) so well done to you, this is really great I love her! One of the best chosen Buffy's I've seen!!
