I think it's great that you're displaying old customs again it might inspire more people to take up customising! I guess it can be daunting if you're just starting up customising but it would be really encouraging to see how far others have come as well

I remember I was the first person ever buying a MsBig Custom. It was the "Kick Arse Buffy" from Graduation Day. A few months later I got a lovely letter wich included a little picture of that Buffy with your signature, this was the time when you started sell your figures and did COA's. It was a lovely time and I kinda miss it, cant belive this was 12 years ago!

Thanks, guys! Yes, it really is just volume and practice. I had a good eye but really no skill when I started out. The ones I made in 2003 had no sculpting at all... just paint and sometimes bits of leather or something like that stuck onto them. Then I ventured into sculpting in 2004 and the results almost went backwards, they were so clumsy. But I just kept bashing them out. It helped that I was really inspired by BtVS, so I couldn't stop. After I'd made 50 or so, my skill level bumped up a bit... and again at 100. I've made over 1000 now and it's 13 years on.
I'll try to dig out and add new legacy ones over the next few weekends. x

Love your legacy work. Looks like the actual figures were your inspiration and you saw the potential to do even more with them when they first starting putting these figures on the shelves.
Your origin story is much like my own. Started out repaints, casual swaps, sculpting, etc.
Yes, you have come a long way and it shows in your evolution of each project. I do hope your project inspire others to give this hobby a try, even if it's baby step.

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, Hansi and Annette were my first buyers back in 2004. ) Great that we all still hang out here occasionally. A few more added for September and October 2004. I'm crazy busy with the Halloween customs but I'll try to get some more legacy ones added in the next few weeks.

Gosh, seeing these customs takes me back! It also reminds me that it was your work that got me interested in customising in the first place and how you're such a great role model for the rest of us when it comes to customising. Thanks for reminding us of how it all started and keeping the board alive all this time. X

Thanks for all the comments! I've added a few stragglers for 2006 and 2007. Yikes, it was 140 customs!
I couldn't see any more for 2008, so I stopped checking. PM me, if you have a query about any other legacy customs.

Sash, Your work is why I am a long time member of this forum. I think you may have listed something on ebay and followed the trail here LOL. Besides the fact that you are a truly lovely person....Your work has and still inspires us. It's wonderful to see your early work again. And was something I always looked forward to seeing posted back in the day. I can't say enough good things about your work, past, present and hopefully future? I am proud to say that I still own some of your originals! Cheers for all you do for the forum both artistically and administratively ( no easy task I am sure)!
