:/ He has a pretty bad alcohol problem and I seriously hope he gets some help soon. He's such a sweet guy and I hate seeing articles like this, but this is not unusual behavior from him.

STATEMENT FROM NICHOLAS BRENDON
I apologize.
Usually those words end a message like this but I am beginning with them to emphasize how much I regret disappointing my family, my fans, and myself. I can offer an explanation but I make no excuse for my unacceptable behavior.
For the past 5 days, I have been taking prescription pain medication to help me manage a cyst behind my knee cap, which is scheduled for corrective surgery on Monday morning. I made the poor decision to mix this prescribed medication with alcohol. The result was embarrassing and unacceptable.
I intend to seek appropriate treatment and therapy for my medical ailments as well as my emotional demons.
Again: I apologize. Those two small words don’t begin to express my regrets, but they do mark the beginning of my recovery. During this difficult time, I appreciate understanding as I pursue rehabilitation -- and I value support as I earn redemption with my family, friends, and fans.

i really dont know what to say. the situation may have been a cry for attention sense his relationship didnt work out, but its a repeat behavior.
the best thing would be to step away from the convention scene and really work out his personal issues. after hearing his split and a few weeks after going to a convention may have been a way to get his mind off of personal stuff, but again old habits are not that easy to break either when your alone.
as fans we should be offering our support and ralley behind him to get better and encourage him to get better.

Well. Third time's a charm right? I'm wondering if this will affect whether or not conventions will book him now, or if they will wait until he does something about the obvious problems he is having. Not to mention, what convention will be willing to book his hotel rooms now?
Hopefully the next story we hear about him is one with a happier ending.

In later news .....
" have been battling a lot of depression throughout my life and ive kinda been handling it in the wrong way . I am a survivor of sexual abuse when I was a child"
I do hope he gets the right help a family member of mine is a survivor of this and he did a lot of wrong things like running away attempt suicide 4 times

I was saddened to read about his battle with alcohol and/or drugs. I hope he gets the help he needs. He seems like a nice man.
