When MAC put out the Buffy Ikon figure, how many did they do of the pink shirt version?

The number of figures released in the IKON series is unknown because this was not a numbered or limited edition release. I don't believe any of the MAC series of figures were released with production numbers unless they were "paint samples" with a certificate from the maker (Which I have rarely seen.). Even the white box preproduction figure of Buffy and Angel where not assigned numbers - Just in white box with MAC silver sticker. I hope this is ok to share this link, but this collector has a few of these Preproduction figures: www.freewebs.com/madvicks/macikonseries.htmThe IKON release I would assume had a good circulation for a normal production run sense that figure was recycled is series 2 of Buffy. See IKON Buffy, Buffy Series 2, Buffy TOYFARE. The numbered/ limited edition release didn't come until Diamond Select Toys took over the license, for example (Autograph figures and Pre Production T-1 figures).

Pink Buffy was not a limited release so there are very likely a few thousand of them knocking around. There are around 5000 Blue Buffy and Pink Buffy was a 1:4 (P:B) short pack ratio if I remember correctly. But MAC did release limited numbers: the white mailer Pre-Prod MAC S1 Buffy and Angel were limited to 500, MAC also released T1 Giles, Oz and Cordelia (of which Cordy is the hardest to acquire). Hope that helps.

LOL! You are the one to ask - You have some that weren't even circulated in the market.
Also just to clarify, it was limited in number of figures produced, but not individually numbered in itself. I own both IKON figures of Buffy and Spike and the boxes are not numbered. I also own the MAC T1 Giles and Oz and they are also not numbered on the box, got mine signed by Moore.

Thanks for the info. I looked into it and found this little bit of info. I have the original boxes from China. In each box there are 12 Buffy Ikon figures. 11 blue shirt and 1 pink shirt. The number on the side on the of the box is 232 of 434. This means that 435 boxes of 12 figures per box were produced. So I believe, there were only 400 produced of these pink shirt Buffy figures. Needless to say, I'll shoot some photos of the box to show the numbers. So, I think that this little pink shirt Buffy figure is a very rare figure because of the low production run. Madvicks... hows it going? It's Chris... good to see you;)

Hi Chris. Well 434 x 12 give 5308 (is that right?), so on a 1:12 ratio 438 Pink Buffy's in total, is that right? Plus any kept back. Elee: for sure that white mailer pre-prod Buffy/Angels were numbered. I think pre-prod WW Willow has a number too. As for the T1 figures/IKON ones I do not recall them being individually numbered. Apologies for my misunderstanding of Chris' post.

Some of the boxes were 12 blue shirt Buffys with no pink shirt buffy. I think it would be save to say it was a 400 run. It makes no sense to do a 420 or a 410 edition run. It makes more sense it was a 400 run... So, it's a rare figure for sure. Good to hear from you Victoria.

Also I could have sworn that I saw a certificate on the sample IKON ones that were low in number like X out of 5.

There is a non-signed WW Willow that is numbered. Only the pre-prod IKON samples have a certificate that is numbered but not the commercial figures.

I believe you are referring to the unpainted ones in the white box for Buffy and Angel from Series 1 which I believe they only made a short amount of.
