Xander has a better likeness here than in the finished figure, I think it's because of the hairstyle of seasons 2/3

I loved the Buffy Series 2 Prototype, her pose looked strong and powerfull, and her paintjob was top notch. Too bad she ended up like the way we got her ...

I actually saw that Buffy prototype on eBay a while back. Wish I'd bought her but I didn't have the money at the time.
The prototype sculpts are around 12% larger at this stage, when they go in for production they shrink them a tiny bit, so you lose some of the details.
I just wish I'd bought her!!

The Series 2 Buffy figure, and it was only a prototype. The articulation came after the final sculpt.

oh well, I saw it as the short hair buffy.... ergo black pants and lilac top.... not red pants. Someone was mistaken and it wasn't me ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) yeah the articulation is added just before mass production. The sculptor has nothing to do with the articulation process.
