Actually that is a very good idea, maybe one of the mods should create one if one hasn't been made yet. That would be a good way to get new members.

That is a good idea, however I'm afraid this might take most of our discussions to FP leaving few members behind (those who can't or won't join FB).

Nice idea. But Im afraid that that could make this board redundant. There isnt too much activity going on right now, I think having a 2nd platform to talk and post would mean the dead of this board. Besides that on proboards we do have control whos looking at our posts and pictures

I mean it doesn't have to be a group...maybe a fan page or something? Slayalive has something like that here... www.facebook.com/SlayAlive?fref=ts A mod can run it and post news and updates to the page. Like when COTM voting begins, or something to that effect. It's a good way to bring awareness to the forum when anyone likes it and maybe new members . Just an idea!

I get on here more than facebook. I'm kind of phasing it out because I just don't have time for it anymore. I mean back in college I was glued to it like everyone else was, but not with a job, a life, and a customizing hobby, who has the time?
I use to get on to chat with friends and school chums, but they all of have their own things going on and babies, etc. so no one is on there hardly.
The idea isn't good or bad. I don't think it will hurt anything and it may add a few new members. If you want, you could do it or help with one of the mods to build it from the ground up. I'm not ashamed to say I don't have a slayalive account, I only have this one cause my hobby revolved around this site more so because of it being a custom figure collection.

Still not sure if its really necessary to update a Facebook page to let people know the forum has been updated. Besides that theres the Sunnydale Press on top of the board wich has information about updates and news, also the B logo on each section is colored when a new post has been made. Also theres still new members sign up constantly, even without Facebook. IMO its quality that made this board what it is, and not quantity.

Nice idea. But Im afraid that that could make this board redundant. There isnt too much activity going on right now, I think having a 2nd platform to talk and post would mean the dead of this board. I think it could have been great to have the possibility to join a facebook fan page like slayalive has, to share news, infos or anything else new about Buffy instantaneously, that's the difference between facebook and the forum is that on the board it's more about debate and developing, but on facebook it's faster, if I want to ask a simple question I will just post a message and I will have an answer, instead of creating a thread here that will have to be deleted because it was just a quick question. What do you think about it ? By the way I wasn't going to create it lol it was just an idea, first I thought the forum was registered on facebook with another name Besides that on proboards we do have control whos looking at our posts and pictures I think there might be a problem because I can see everything without being logged

I dont see why that shouldnt work on here? Its a message board, every question is welcome Our sections should cover any possible category a collectors heart desire, if there isnt a permanent spamming with daily threads abouts nothing I dont see a reason for deleting a thread. I just dont think its good splitting a working forum into 2 parts, also how do you decide if a question is just a short question? Sometimes it turns into a very intresting discussion you might not want to miss. When people started disussing facebook there were like 6 members who linked their profile, so there wasnt much of a request. Also when looking at the Slayalive page I see the last post by the admin was made on 21. Feb, it had not a single comment or even a like. The 4 last posts made by members were on Dec. 3, Oct.29, Oct.15, and April 8. the only reply was made by the admin. I see no reason for all the extra affort, the graphics, the updates ect... I think we should focus on what we have... A great Buffy Figure Board wich runs for over 10 years now

I think a FB page might be a good idea but then again, I would rather come on here than FB! I think FB has gone downhill lately so I try to not go on it as much because of all the 'trolls' and such. It might attract unwanted visiters that just post nasty comments or spam. Obviously this isn't always the case but since this board is run by regular contributors on here, it makes it easier to stop spam and unwanted comments. I don't know how many things I had to report to facebook but they never do anything really :/
