Mini survey of interests, wants and needs.

I'm a bit curious of what kind of Whedonverse stuff my fellow collectors like to collect and what they read/watch. Here's a mini-survey to get the discussion going(feel free to skip questions or talk about similar things).

1. What do you collect right now? Or what have you collected in the past?

2. Do you plan on collecting anything else?

3. What kind of collectibles do you create yourself?

4. Which Whedon projects have you read/watched?

4b. Have you read any Buffy or Angel comics? Which ones(the early Darkhorse series, Spike comics, canon-ish comics, Fray)?

4c. Have you read any other fictional work? Official novels, fanfics etc etc.?

5. Do you collect ot want to collect comic or novel themed collectibles? For example original comic book art(the uncolored interior pages, covers, sketches), the Season 8 lunch boxes, After the fall customs etc etc.

6. How do you prefer displaying collectibles(wall, shelf, other)? or do you right now not have room and store a lot?

7. Do you prefer home made or official items? Or props?

I'm always interested about this stuff too, so I'll fill it out!

1) Mostly figures, statues, customs, and trading cards/binders. I also like less official bits of memorabilia, like notebooks, edibles, and things like that.

2) Sideshows when I have the room and the cash; screen-used props definitely, but only recognisable or more iconic ones and wardrobe. I want to get more prop replicas as well.

3) I haven't created any currently but I'd like to try my hand at customising. I have a Fred figure set aside that I plan to Pyleafy once I can get my hands on some spare MAC slave robes or another slave Cordy for cheap. I'm now contemplating a casual-dress Illyria figure as well (her jeans and cap from Only Human). I'd also like to create some jewelry from extra accessories, and definitely an altered book once I go out and get some ModPodge.

- b) Select early Darkhorse, all of ATF, some post-ATF but not Aftermath (so Only Human and Illyria: Haunted), Fray, and I've started on S8 but am only about a quarter of the way through.
- c) Some fanfics but I don't read them as much as I used to, and I only own one Angel novel which I haven't properly picked up yet.

5) I definitely want some ATF and S8 collectibles! I'd love a custom of the three witches from the Willow one-shot and Illyria in her white gown in Only Human. Aside from customs, though, there's not much I'm particularly pining for save the Buffy Panel to Panel book.

6) Shelf! Since most of my collection is figures, they line one wall very near the ceiling, with other bits scattered about the room. My OMWF poster (purchased here!) is still in its tube, sadly, because when I eventually move it will be easier to transport as a roll rather than framed as I intend to get it. I have a few thing stored because I don't have space for them (the Sideshow Gentlemen), some because I'm too much of a wusspuss to open them (the MAC Gentlemen, MAC vamp!Drusilla), and some because I intend to sell them (various MAC figures, Varner statues, and DST dolls).

7) I like both equally. I adore customs and got into Buffy collecting because of them, actually; I was fairly sane before I met all of you! But I greatly enjoy collecting official items as well, and props are just plain exciting to get. While I don't currently have any of Buffy (save my Feigenbaum and a Costume Collection necklace), I did recently purchase a Dollhouse screen-used prop: Dr. Claire Saunders' peacock dress, as worn by Amy Acker in the episode "Needs"!
