Season 8 ended with a bang when Buffy cut the world off from the hell dimensions and all supernatural influence. Great, right? Except Buffy has left her best friend, Willow, powerless, and ended the long line of vampire slayers, leaving her hated by the hundreds of girls who recently stood behind her. Newly relocated to San Francisco, Buffy can count on a fresh start, and focus on what she's good at--slaying.Pub. Date: Sep 14, 2011

Yay Buffy! I can't wait until this starts up, the summer was just awful without her. I missed going to the comic book store and picking up the newest issue and just engrossing myself in the story. I hope this season is more solid, rather than constantly moving, and super powers and other major plot twists.

It's the begining of a great story . I loved the issue, I love how its fragmented and told in bit by bit. And the humour is such a good plus and a new hairstyle for willow its absolutley adorable on her ! I couldn't help but imagine "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" playing in my head lol. Trying so hard not to be spoiler-y. But The last page made me crack up lol. I can't wait for the next issue and how the story is going to unfold. Hurray for season 9 !

Decent first issue. So happy for the classic Buffy feel, not as good as Angel and Faith though, in my opinion.
