Left in a near-catatonic state following the events in Buffy Season 8, Angel will need a seriously rude awakening if he's to make amends for his ill-conceived deeds. Enter rebel Slayer with a cause--Faith Lehane. Together they'll have full access to the Watcher files and opportunities to make amends for all they've done . . . and will do.Pub. Date: Aug 31, 2011

The premise for this series sounds fantastic. I can't wait to pick up the first issue. So happy now that Angel is now under Dark Horse with Buffy. Not that there's anything wrong with IDW I love reading their True Blood comics. I wonder what all kinds of big bads they can battle, and all kinds of personal demons they can conquer.

I agree! Great opening issue, I thoroughly enjoyed every page. Storyline is engrossing, great new baddies, some old faces that we love ( no spoilers yet!) and a omg ending. I think this story arc is going to be great! Gotta say I much prefer Rebekah Isaacs style of art, the likenesses of characters is just right without being too like portraits - she seems to have been able to capture their little facial quirks. There's a little bit of English cliche going on, in some of the 'accents' of new characters, and I'm not sure Brixton will like being called a 'dodgy' area ( full of fire hydrants apparantly?) but having said that I was totally hooked and am looking forward to #2 even more than Buffy season 9 at the moment! That said, I'm still wetting myself with excitement for Septembers release date so.......

I feel like on all the covers for these they just did not capture David or Eliza in a flattering or recognizable way. (EDIT) I think some resemble Faith, but, do not look that much like her.
