I want to make a Bronze playset. My dreamset would include the whole building, with bar, dance floor, stage, tables, chairs, and upper level, but I will probably have to settle for dance floor and maybe one of the above(not the upper level) since it would be displayed on a shelf(I got no room to put it on it's own table.
So ideas for material, tools, accessoaries, got images of how other people have done it, know of helpful links, etc etc? Any ideas are welcome.
Anyone know if dollhouse accessoaries are made for the 1:12 / 6" scale?
Blueprints existing for the Bronze?

I have one but it is VERY simple, so you might not like it *hehe* I would take 2-3 regular Buffy/Angel wallstands, Spray them black, get a Bronze base (wich comes with vamp xander I think) Glue them together ( wich should be 4 bases now ) paint the floor grey, and add some of the tables that come with vampxander too?! You can glue some beerbottles on the table ( I think the bottles came with FFL Spike ) speakers and instruments that came with OZ and OMWF Dawn, you could add some silver lametta and stuff... I think this would look pretty cool. Also you could always extend it by adding more floorbases.

I've thought about easy solutions to do it, without buying lots and woods and stuff, and that sounds like a great idea!
I especially like that I can add as many floor bases as I wish. And if I ever want to re-do this set, I could re-paint the sprayed bases for customs! Nothing would be wasted.
I had no idea vampire Xander came with a Bronze stand or table. I've just googled him and see the base, but I can't see the table. If it looks good enough, I'll definitly use it. And Lorne's stage, speaker, drinks and microphone would be great as well! I have those lying around somewhere.
-EDIT
I've found the table. A bit small, but I bet I can find another table in this scale.

Haha, I didnt notice the table was so small. Anway, you can hold out for dollhouse tables, or just make them urself, with a piece of wood and some scupley. Just stich out a round plate with a glass, and glue it on a wooden stick. Paint it black and it looks perfect.

Sounds easy enough. Shouldn't be hard to find a stick, lol. Sculpey I have at home.
I suppose I could make a bar through re-painting the magic shop base that comes with a Anya fig. I can't recall how the bar at the Bronze looks like. I'll check screencaps.

Where was the party where Spike was thrown through the window in I Was Made To Love You? I think it might have been the Bronze. We see that there was a window in The harvest too.

I think the party was held at one of the Uni campus houses, not the Bronze. There are some really cool dollshouse accesories on E-bay under shop fittings which include a curved shop counter which could work well for the Bronze bar if you painted it. Also if you look under pubs/bars you will find lots of bits and bobs to add to your diorama like beer pumps, baskets for spikes onion rings, beer mats, pool tables etc. I also have a Lorne stage that lights up if you would like it- you could add another one to it as well to scale it up a bit. Maybe you could transform a Library playset if you want the upper level as well!

There are some really cool dollhouse items you can buy and put together your own Bronze scene. I used two Lorne stages, two Bronze bases and stacked various speakers on either side of the stage. I have it sitting on another stage thing I found to make it taller. I did buy a larger table and chairs since the one that came with Xander was so tiny. I also found a mini pool table (actually it was a mini-foosball game that I converted). Of course I did find a mini pool table so my old one I will probably be getting rid of. I have a picture of the stage area if you were curious. If I get ambition after my current project I thought of tackling the bronze or library scene. If you're crafty it's fun to find stuff and then put it all together. It can be pricy, too.

smilerThanks. I hope it was held there, since it would be hard to keep anyone a prisoner if there's big windows like that around. And that was one of the things with the Bronze, that villains could keep people prisoners. I like your ideas and will check out ebay. A light up Lorne stage? Did you customize the ordinary one? Either way, if you have one or two of those, I want to buy them. jamersyI'd love to see pictures. I really like the playsets and bases I've seen you make.
