This challenge is to make a character from any Non-Jossverse movie or TV show that has at least one vampire or werewolf character. The challenge is to make any character from these shows or movies, not just the supernatural ones. Here are some examples (I'm sure there are lots more): Movies - Twilight Saga, Interview with the Vampire, Blood & Chocolate, Company of Wolves, Ginger Snaps, Blade Saga, Harry Potter Saga, 30 Days of Night, Let the Right One In TV - True Blood, Vampire Diaries, Wolf Lake, Supernatural, X-Files, Moonlight, Blade, Charmed, Blood Ties Rules for Customisers1) You can state your ideas for what you intend to make. You can post in-progress photos, if you like, as well as finished photos. 2) Remember, this challenge is just to give us some unity during this Season. You are still encouraged to produce any custom you like that is un-related to this challenge and post it in its own thread. 3) If you post photos of your custom in this challenge thread, please don't also post it in a separate thread. 4) This challenge will last during the months of December to February only. Please plan to finish your figure by February 28th. 5) You can use any format of custom in this challenge. It can be Mini, Palz, 6", 12" or bust. It can be a single figure or a tableau of several figures. 6) Only photos of 600 pixels wide, or less, are accepted. I don't normally do customs for all of these properties but I might do some for the challenge.
For this Winter only, I am available to make commissions for any character from any TV show or Movie that features at least one vampire or werewolf.

I don't normally do non-Jossverse stuff, but I hereby present: Being Human - Wave 1These were actually my entry for CustomCon27. I'm a big fan of the show and wanted to do something non-Buffy for CC, and it's a nice coincidence that they fit into this challenge! Mitchell - a Vampireaka the one that photographed the least well...Mitchell is made from a FF movie Mr Fantastic head, Scott Evil Arms, Vampire Xander Coat, MAC Xander torso and MAC Spike legs. I sculpted his hair... and not much else! This is one of the simplest customs I've ever made - the parts just seemed to shout themselves out at me and when this became apparent I knew I wanted to make these figures. He has a living room base complete with TV on it's stand, various DVDs and a few of Annie's tea-mugs. George - a WerewolfGeorge is made from Star Trek movie Nero head, Judgement Lorne torso, Eowyn arms, and S7 Xander legs. I sculpted his hair, slightly re-shaping the Romulan ears. I'm really pleased with how I was able to catch Russell Tovey's likeness, although I'm not 100% happy with the positioning of his arms. Never mind. He has a wolf-cage base, which has a door from Hannibal Lecter Annie - a Ghost Annie is made from a Star Trek movie Uhuru head, Lana Lang legs and arms and White Witch Willow torso, and I also used YW Cordy hair as the base for the rest of her hair, which saved me a lot of time. I did sculpt her jumper completely, which was a bit of challenge but a rewarding one, and her UGG boots. Her base is the door to the "other side", which I thought would look better open enough to see the black nothing behind. And she has a lot of tea mugs. Which cost me a small fortune... Herrick - a VampireHerrick is made from a Chosen Giles head on a Scott Evil body, with Vampire Xander arms. I removed and re-sculpted his hair and chin to look more like Jason Watkins and sculpted his jacket. His base is a simple coffin to show him at his Funeral home headquarters. All in all these were a lot of fun to make - I'm really pleased with the likenesses (perhaps less so for Annie) and the overall sense that they could be a wave of actual figures. The see them on the CustomCon site complete with the "fake line of figures" spiel, click here

I think you got a great likeness on both Eric and the Queen, the only thing that i dont like is the bottom of Erics pants, they flare out just a bit to much.

Nice likeness on Stefan (and commentary on the show's relationship to Twilight). Damon looks good, but might be bettered with the Eastwood-style narrowed eyes he does when acting evil.
Got to paint a head and take photos. Out tomorrow so probably Monday. Wish me luck!

Elena's a dead spit likeness - better than many heads that are supposed to be likenesses.
