I frekin' loved that movie! It was so awesome, I think my favorite scene was the Executioner fight scene, I kept thinking that the axe was gonna hit me like for reals. I cannot believe they ended the movie the way they did though, they need to make another movie.

Oh yeah its an awesome film and shouldn't be missed. When I saw the comercial, I had to see it. I love the games and the movies. I heard it might take 8 years to make the next videogame fo rthe main series.

I gave up on the series after 2. They are terrible, and I'm sad it didn't get rebooted (as was rumoured before 4)

Great silly fun movie! First time I've seen a 3D movie too. I just quit worrying about the plot holes and enjoyed the action, and Mila.

i thought it was great. as for the plotholes, they were necessary to undo the damage that the awful 3rd movie did haha

I kind of like the 3rd movie though. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either it was like inbetween for me.

the problem with the 3rd one, was they opened a storyline which was silly. the virus caused lakes and rivers to dry up...LAME lol it did have a few cool scenes, such as the clone trials, the crows (albeit drawn out) was pretty good, the tyrant fight could have been better but again, wasnt that bad... i just think the 4th one did the right thing of ignoring most of the 3rd movie

I was still like grr where the hell is Jill, I mean they didn't explain that in Exctinction. I still can't believe they killed off Carlos in the 3rd movie. Ugh but I was so pissed when all of the clones died. Also Wesker isn't dead he ecsaped the explosoin with a parachute, I only noticed that when I watched it the second time. Also why did they wait for the credits to reveal Jill? I almost walked out the first time till I turned around when I heard the helicopter Overall it was a good movie. Best 3-d movie in my opinion, that and Final Destination 4. Oh but can't wait for Saw 3D lol. I have a thing for horror, gore and 3D movies.

my god this movie was awful. I didnt have high expectations, but I did expect a film with at least some care and thought behind it. Rubbish acting, directing and writing. Wtf was wrong with ali larter, her acting had the audience laughing out loud. I get going to the cinema for some light entertain popcorn fun, but its nice not to have a gaming franchise trashed in the process. I dont know why they didnt go with the rumoured reboot. Bugger off Mila!

I completely disagree with you for once stakey. I thought it was great and ali larter was awesome- considerably better than her character in part 3. Im shocked u would say this one was bad aftrr the awfulness of the 3rd movie lol. Atleast theyve reduced alices....abilities

I loved it, and plan to see it again this weekend. I like the first reel the best (where they fulfilled what was promised at the end of part 3).
While the first film remains the best, I'd say it is now a tie between part 3 and part 4 for second place.
The tie is difficult to break because part 3 had a zombie Elvis and the "what the heck is going on, how did we end up back at the mansion?" opening going for it, while part 4 had the best 3D since Avatar, and that fantastic opening reel.

P.S. There was no rumored reboot. The franchise is owned by Milla and her husband, for pete's sakes. The only people clamoring for a reboot are gamers who want a movie series based on the video games (i.e. no Alice) rather than inspired by the video games.

I just feel like the franchise has gone SO far off track now.
I even preferred the third one to this, just too many random moments of 'wtf that's just stupid', and too much bad acting.
Only to then have it all end on yet another empty cliffhanger, with Wesker escaping. Just same old same old.
I just want a really personal/intimate Resident Evil movie, that sticks to maybe one creepy location, doesnt over populate with duller than dull characters and attempts some actual shocks or scares with interesting character developement.
The first film was good, it played into the action aspect a bit too much which is why everything has gone off track I think, but at least it had a few elements of the games so that it related to the title of Resident Evil...the other films however...far from it.

I just feel like the franchise has gone SO far off track now. But what *is* the track? I guess this is why they're soliciting ideas for what fans want to see in part 5.

Seriously what the is the so called track? This universe is seperate from the games, if it were a straight up adaptation that would be hella boring. That's what the premise was in the first place. Paul didn't want to make a hack, when people could just go play the game again. The series goes on to a next level, to a logical point in which the game would logically go to. The virus couldn't be contained all the time, and how can it?

I liked it just for the pure entertainment of it all. It's a fun, action filled movie. I really like the series and I think that Mila is one smart lady for owning this thing. I consider it to be on my Best-Worst movies list, meaning you enjoy it for what it is!
