For everyone who isn't in Toronto this may be cruel to even post. Sorry! A bunch of Whedon fans are showing Serenity on June 26th as part of the Can't Stop The Serenity screenings around the world. The money raised goes to Equality Now - Joss's favourite Charity. One of our biggest fundraising bits is the auction afterwards and this year we have a lot of Buffy/Angel stuff. A playbill from the Old Vic where Tony Head is appearing in Six Degree of Separation- and he signed it. A special cover of one of the Drusilla comics. Juliet Landau brought it from LA for us when she was in Toronto briefly. Signed of course. A framed glass etching of Anya- signed by Emma Caulfield A framed glass etching of Dru, Angel and Spike signed by Juliet. Both these etchings are unique and done by someone here in Toronto. Instead of a single photograph on a sheet, Camden Toy has a sheet with a picture of him as himself, as Gnarl, as one of the Gentlemen and the Ubervamp. He signed each one when he heard what I wanted it for. We also have a copy of Bite me and the Conversations with Dead people Ouija Board. And that's just the Buffy stuff. If you live anywhere (100 miles/100 km) near Toronto, come join us. All details at the blog- torontoserenity.blogspot.com
