Awhile back I made a gift for my principal. It was her own custom figure. The day I presented her with this the local newspaper was there (since our school was being closed due to consolidation) and they asked to do a featured story on me. The interview was done in June. Then more follow-up questions were needed. Well, the article has been published and I'm proud of it! I've already had people asking me about it. It gives props to our forum and mainly MsBig who was the one who really got me turned onto this hobby. Here is the article (pictures). I'm sorry but the article is not online yet so I had to take a picture of it. Here is my props to Sasha! Me working on my Dollhouse scene: Top of article: (sorry about how hard it'll be to read it if you wanted to read it). Bottom half: Enjoy!

Thanks!
OH and before anyone gets offended...I did not say "generic" base. I think I said most people make a figure on a base (or plain base?) whereas I try to recreate the entire scene.
The only thing I wish she had done was put my blog's address (I must have told her like a million times--and she did check it out because she said her DAD loved the show and would get a kick out of seeing it). Or our forum's site's web address. I'm not sure if she could publish that or not. I figure if anyone is interested they'd do a search or ask me.

Awesome! Wow I'm surprised how in depth the article went. They touched on a lot of the whole process. Even if they didn't print the URLs, anyone interested can search Sasha and custom, and her's is the first result. Yah they also said Dollhouse was short-lived. Heh, maybe it was researched before the second season was confirmed. I hope you got lots of copies!

Thank you so much, James, that's very cool!
Great article. They really took an interest and went into depth. Well done! You really deserve the attention for that excellent figure you made of your teacher.
