For the past day this forum been constantly spammed by two of out old members and a new one:
NaturallyBuffBuff Firecracker Kitten
They were rude and nasty toward each other, other members and this forum. And they've done nothing but spam this forum.
At this point let this be clear, the mods won't be cleaning up the mess and sending warnings - it would be simply: Permanent Ban, Deletion of the BtVSFigs account and deletion of posts made by this member.
So let these 3 be an example of what not to do in case someone feels bored and wants to "have fun".

Thank you for addressing this. Last night they were creating a very uncomfortable and intimidating vibe on the forum and it's good to hear that behavior like that won't be tolerated.

Thanks for taking care of business. I was quite shocked at some of the messages I was reading here on the forum yesterday.

I think NaturallyBuffBuff and Firecracker's accounts might have been hacked or something. It seemed like someone changed the names and might have been the same person. It was really weird, and it might have been someone out to get those two members...

It was really weird, and it might have been someone out to get those two members... Its not the first time either (or both) did something like this on BtVSFigs and other forums as well. So frankly, it looks more like juvenile boredom behavior than anything else. Oddly it never happened to any other forum members so at this point they have no more benefit of the doubt left. As for good job well done - thanks but the real credit goes to out amazing mods who been cleaning up the forum during this spam fast.

I know you all had your hands full with the clean up since they seemed to post a response to every thread on the forum, lol.

They had done the name changes in the past as well (I remember an incident of them changing their names to other forum member's account usernames to create confusion and to bash members).

Oh my... My mistake. I had the same thing happen to me on another site, and vicious attacks were made against me especially and a few others.
My kudos go to all the mods who took care of this, quickly and painlessly as possible.

These are spambots...programs that meant to locate threads and advertise their websites.
Just keep eye on those and we'd simply ban and delete those accounts.

I thought I would drop by and say that I have the same issue on SlayAlive from time to time. I found that it helps to turn on Limited Registration. It is found in the Admin panel, under the General Settings. This allows you, as well as other Global Mods to approve accounts. Thus forcing new members (or bots) to wait till they are approved before they can post comments and new topics. It's a great way to reign things in and remain in control even when you're not online!

Thanks for the tip, Phil. Indeed a much suiting option with the latest amount of spam bots.
