Hey everyone Here is the first look at my latest drawing. This is the first new drawing of 2009. This drawing is based on season 8 of Smallville and features portraits of Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Justin Hartley and Alan Ritchson as Green Arrow and Aquaman and Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan. I have wanted to do an updated Smallville drawing for sometime, not only to show the updated characters but also to see and compare how my artistic style has changed since doing the first Smallville drawing back in '07 With this drawing I am trying a couple of different techniques, the main one being doing a complete layout under drawing instead of doing the drawing in sections. The second technique I am going to explore is to emphasize more the various layers of color in the drawing...I tried this technique on the Doctor Who "Empty Child" drawing and I liked the results so I have decided to explore it further. As always constructive comments and feedback are welcomed and appreciated...so please let me know what you think ;D Here is the Smallville '09 under drawing... This Drawing is done as Fan Art My Tribute to an Awesome TV series "Smallville", "Superman", "Green Arrow", "Aquaman" "Lois Lane", "The Daily Planet" and all related characters and properties are copyrighted By DC Comics, Warner Bros Entertainment Inc and their respective subsidiaries "Superman" created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

I don't watch this show, I know about it, though. GOD this is beautiful. You are such a beautiful artist! Do you use just regular color pencils? Wow, I'm just blown away.... Would you do a mural type scene for Buffy? Do you sell your pieces?

It's a lovely, lovely piece of work that aims for composition rather than collage. Love it to pieces.
