Hey guys, I don't know how many of you are Doctor Who fans. But I just read some sad news. David Tennant will be hanging up the Tardis key very soon. Here's some quotes from an online article: The BBC confirmed that Tennant would complete the filming of four special episodes to be shown this year and early in 2010, as well as a Christmas special in 2009. There is no series scheduled for next year because of Tennant’s commitments with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
He said: “I’ve had the most brilliant, bewildering and life-changing time working on Doctor Who. I have loved every day of it. It would be very easy to cling on to the Tardis console for ever and I fear that if I don’t take a deep breath and make the decision to move on now, then I simply never will. You would be prising the Tardis key out of my cold dead hand. This show has been so special to me, but I don’t want to outstay my welcome.”So sad David was my favorite Doctor, and it will be so hard to see him go. He was the reason I became so addicted to the show. I knew that he was going to leave sooner or later, but I was hoping it wouldn't be this soon. -Jess

I agree, he was awesome and it will be so hard getting used to the new actor. At least we still have 4 specials to go.

Sad but not suprising. Not sure whether i'll want to watch after he leaves, he was what got me interested in the show in the first place.
