i dont know about everyone else but to me having a section that to be quite honest theres really only less than a handful of competeters in and only one person that predominatly makes these figures isnt really a fair outcome as its almost a forgone conclusion, at the end of the day i know that anyone can make any figure of any size they wish but it does seem like having a horse race with only 2 or 3 horses in it i know other people will have thought the same thing but probably didnt feel like they could say anything , but the whole point of having a " competition " is that there are catergories that are fair and that there are plenty of peoples figures to choose from . no offence is meant by any of this statement just think it needs pointing out to the management. just another thought but dont you think that there should be a minimum entery number in each catergory for the actual catergory to be fair to bre run in the first place?

I get what you are saying bennywilde. I would counter that by saying that much of the reason there have not been many customs made in these formats in the past is that they haven't suitable for past customs contests. this is the first venue for them. So perhaps by opening up this category now...we will see more of them in the future.

does this mean that figures above and below 6" figures can win Custom of the Year Award? No. Since 6" customs are most commonly made on this forum, this event is mainly meant to focus on them. So, the Custom of the Year award is for 6" customs only. -CMK

Well, it is smaller than the orniments. I sculpted it myself and if it were a whole figure I guess it would be in the 5 inch scale.

What month was the contest in last year? I am trying to figure out what customs I made after the contest but before 05. Also, would our create a slayer entries go into the "out of the verse" catagory?

How do I enter my customs? Do I need to set up a website or something, or can I just post them on a BTVSfigs thread? I've never even showed a custom before, so I haven't got a clue! Thanks!!!

You should get a photo hosting site. Most are free. I use photobucket.com You upload the pictures to that site. Then you can copy the image location (the url) and past it in a thread here...

Also, would our create a slayer entries go into the "out of the verse" catagory? If by the contest you mean the 2004 BCAs, it was held in December. Also, you need to tell me which specific customs you made in 05 because they might not be eligible. Aly's case was special, as she had entered hers in a custom contest that was held around the same time as the 2004 BCAs. Your slayer creations would most likely fit best in the Most Creative Custom category. -CMK

I've received all of the submissions. Unfortunately, they won't be put up today...they should be posted within the next few days. This will shift the schedule a little bit, but it's not too drastic.
