Artistix, that's one massive collection! WOW! And Adam, I love your display too. Kind of makes me want one of my own as well but that's definitely not a road I should take given how easily it for me to obsess with collectibles.

Thanks Lior! I will post updated pictures when I get Draego Man and Thunder Punch He-Man. I'm so excited for Draego man!!! You better not get ANY of them! You will not be able to stop. I was going to get just a few favorites and now I want them all. They are awesome figures, very sturdy, and very customizable with easily swappable parts. I love changing their armor and heads around just to see what they look like. If you can manage just getting He-Man and Skeletor than I would go that route...but you will want more if you do. MOTU was such a huge part of my childhood. I had every figure, vehicle, and playset made and played with them constantly. Having this line now is so much fun and so nostalgic for me. I think that is a huge part of it's success. The nostalgia that it brings people.

I agree! I'm hoping for some really cool surprises for the 30th Anniversary. I can't wait to see Granamyre and what the rest of the line up for this year is and the start of next year. I'm hoping we finally see Ram Man or Mekanek for early 2013 or late this year. I also would love to see Glimmer, Castaspella, or Mermista. I think we are going to start seeing more of the Great Rebellion and NA since the vintage ones are starting to dwindle. I'm hoping next year will be a big Filmation year since it is the 30th Anniversary of Filmation. It would be great to get some never-before-released Filmation characters. I would like to see them use some of the beast/multi pack spots to get out some Filmation Groupings like a MOTU Pack with Lizard Man, Strong Arm, and Batros and a POP pack with Sea Hawk, Vultek, and General Sunders...or something to that effect. This would be a good way to catch up on some Filmation Characters. Other options would be a 2 pack of Mask and Shikoti, the three Horde members form the Origins of the Sorceress episode, a Horde box set of Vultek, Scorpia, and General Sanders (or any three that we have never had a figure), Rebellion set with Sea Hawk, The Red Knight, and Micah. General Sanders could also go in a Horde Trooper set with alternate parts to make a third Trooper for those who buy multiple. Or they could do another 6 figure additional sub for new Filmation Characters. Anyway, as you see, I'm pretty excited for what SDCC will bring!

Oh wow, I'd forgotten we are seeing Granamyr at SDCC. He is going to be epic!
Scorpia & Sea Hawk would be awesome.
I know they can't afford to do another vehicloe for a while, but I would love to see the roton for the baddies to have something to cruise around in.

Roton would be cool and would be a great compliment to the wind raider since they are both one man flying machines. What I would really want, if we can't get the full Battle Ram, is the Sky Sled by itself. They could release it in the blue color for the Heroic Warriors and change the head on it to a ram head and color it purple and red for the Evil Warriors. It could come with a stand similar to the Wind Raider and because they can tweak it for both sides its a re-usable tool. Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing them change the head on it to a Horde head and release it for them also.

I got my subscription today! I can't wait for Ram-Man and Fang Man! The rest of 2012 is pretty cool too! Mekaneck is great and I love Rattlor and Mosquitor! Decker is fine, not a figure I've been wanting but I don't mind getting. DB Skeletor is the variant I have been wanting. The head sculpt on the dragon took a little getting use to but I like it now. Frosta looks great! Netossa is OK, I would have liked her "wings" to be attached to the collar so they can come off with it and I hope the blue belt thing comes off. King He-Man is really cool looking, I hope we at least get a Son of Skeletor, Dare, and Queen Teela to go with him. If not, at least I will be able to flank him with Lazor Lot and Spector. I'm also excited for Filmation Randor, I can put him in my "thrown room" display and put the original in my Battle ground display. Procrustus is cool looking and I really like Cy-Chop and Grayskullman. The fighting foe men are also a cool concept and I love that we are getting the pilots. I just wish we had the Wind Raider pilot to go with them...I would probably pick up the Wind Raider if we got him too. I especially love the Gar pilot and the female pilot...but I hope they either maker her helmet come off or give her an alternate head. And Granamyr! AWESOME!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on him! My 8 year old self will be in heaven and my 36 year old self with set it on the shelf and stare at it, then take it down and mess around with it, then put it on the shelf and stare at it, then take it down...well, you get the point. Anyway, I'm thrilled with the line up and really hope enough subs get sold! I bought mine and that is all I can afford. If I could get a second one I would, I'm sure I could make the money back selling them on the secondary market or making customs out of some of them and selling them. Speaking of customs, I was never a fan of the Blond Teela top...it always looked like two plates and did not compliment the curves of a woman. I love the design on the original Teela tunic and thought I would make a new top for her that more represents Teela but keeps the bikini feel. It is easily removed so I can put on the original breast plates...if I ever choose to...

Nice work Jinxie! Things don't seem to be doing as well for MOTUC at the moment. We just got this message from ToyGuru at Mattel: ********* Toyguru Collector Supreme Picture of Toyguru Posted July 24, 2012 02:44 PM Hide Post We have over 50% to go. We are at 46% of the min orders we need as of right now. If we don't hit 100% of the min it means fewer figs at higher prices (i.e. 30-35.00 per figure and likely only 4-6 figs for the whole year) ***** Really hope the MOTUC fans come through. I've got my sub.

Thanks Artisix. Yeah, I got mine too! I'll be really bummed if it doesn't happen. TG also said that if it doesn't reach it's goal then they might do 4-6 figures next year but they would all have heavy re-use of parts...so Ram Man will most likely not be one of them. Those are some great shots! Netossa is beautiful...but her outfit is so 80's SciFi...and not in the cool way...I think it's the big hair and wing things... Frost is looking great! I will probably do a ice blue drybrush on her hair if that is the final look on her hair.

Netossa currently looks like Tina Turner from Mad Max, and not in a good way.
I am honestly surprised by the reveals, I thought they might go more 'all out' to pull in more subscribers. Leading with Netossa (who I am keen to get) in January seems an odd choice, and none of the 2013 figures have blown me away like in previous years (Adora, Bow, Shadow Weaver, more that I can't currently recall!). Maybe it is because the majority of what is left is NA and POP, still I can't help thinking that if the line does get reduced to 4/6 figures a year I wish they hadn't wasted slots on figures like Carnivus, Demo Man, Snake Man at Arms, Faceless One, Vikor (the list goes on) in pevious years even if they are nice figures. I would rather have had the figures I want than ones I just receive as part of the sub. Now had they led 2013 with characters like Flogg, Extendar, Glimmer, Mantenna, Scorpia or others would we have seen a healthier amount of subscribers? They seem to be making promises that 2014 will be all major characters to complete groups, but is this too little too late?
A lot of venom is directed towards the Foe Men which I understand. I like 2 out of the 3, the blue guy and the girl are cool but the other one just looks like He-Man in a new hat to me. I think this set would have been an ideal SDCC exclusive, and with a $75 price tag I think Matty misread what people are actually willing to pay for. Had it been $75 for 3 Horde Troopers, surely it would have been a bigger win.
Having said all this, I've subscribed but I was on the fence for a while which I never have been before. I just feel like I'm putting faith in getting figures I want, which I don't even know are definitely coming because I've been told if I don't, I won't get them. Such a weird way to collect!
Sorry for the whinge too!

You're a good man for subbing up! I think the next two years will be amazing if we can get the number of subs needed. And I NEED Ram Man!!!! You are right about Netossa. I think Glimmer, Mermista, or Angella would have been a better sub draw. Glimmer especially would have given confidence to a lot of POPers who support the line mostly to get their Great Rebellion line up.

Since the new year of MOTU Classics just started with the 2013 sub I thought I would try to light a little fire under this topic. New York Toy Fair is coming up in a few weeks and we will have some more reveals so I wanted to play catch up with Power-Con and NYCC reveals. So, for this year so far we have: January: Netossa February: Jitsu and Ram Man (1st quarter item, Oversized) March: Fang Man, King He-Man (Sub figure) Strobo (Convention exclusive - 1st release month unknown) April: Snake Face, The Fighting Foe Men (2nd Quarter item, Multi-pack) May: Karatti June: Octavia July: Clamp Champ, New Adventures He-Man (3rd Quarter item, Variant) I'll post updated pictures of my collection soon! I would love to see other's collection updates.

I have my fingers crossed we see Glimmer at Toy Fair. Shokoti or Veena would be cool too.
Madame Razz is still my number 1 want.
