I was just thinking that altough we have seen all the Deluxe Buffy and Faith prototypes, we haven't seen any Deluxe Angel or Spike prototypes. I'm just wondering what everyone would like to see. The Deluxe Buffys were based on Buffy related episodes and the Deluxe Faiths were based on Faith related episodes. So then hopefully this means that the Spike and Angel Figures will be based on Spike and Angel related episodes. Are they all to be based on Buffy episodes or will they be Angel episodes?
If Buffy based, then I'd like to see
Deluxe Angel "Angel" Shirtless with tattoo on back Deluxe Vampire Angel "Angel" with burnt cross mark on his chest. Deluxe Angel "Graduation Day Deluxe Victorian Angel "Fool For Love"
Deluxe Spike "School Hard" Deluxe Vampire Spike "School Hard" Deluxe Spike "Chosen" Deluxe Victorian Spike "Fool For Love"
If any are Angel based then I'd like to see Deluxe Angel "City Of" Deluxe Vampire Angel "City Of" Deluxe Angel "You're Welcome" Deluxe Angel "Destiny" Deluxe Angel "Not Fade Away"
Deluxe Spike "Hellbound" Deluxe Vampire Spike "Destiny" Deluxe Spike "Destiny" Deluxe Spike "You're Welcome" Deluxe Angel "Not Fade Away"

Diamond said before that they wanted to make the main 4 into deluxe figures, and that if these do well than they will produce more. I am guessing that the main 4 are Buffy, Faith, Angel and Spike. I'm guessing that if Buffy and Faith sell well than Angel and Spike will be produced. I'm just hoping that we get Deluxe Vampire Version of each of them.

The "main four" what? I'm not sure how Angel could be considered "one of the main four" when he wasn't even part of the show for the majority of the seasons. And Faith is far less important than Angel.
I would argue that Buffy, Xander, Willow, and Giles are the four most important characters. I don't think deluxe figures are as likely to be made of the latter three when compared to Angel and Spike though.

On an irrelevent note, Angel could easily be counted as in the top four main characters in the Buffy-verse IMO, as Angel has appeared in more episodes of the Buffy-verse than any other character, even Buffy.

I'd like something like:
"Chosen" Angel "Becoming" Angel "Not fade away" Vamp Angel
"Chosen" Spike "Doomed" Spike "School hard" Vamp Spike
Bloody vampire Angel/Spike "Destiny" 2-pack

I'd agree, but the fact is that Buffy and Angel are essentially two distinct shows with two distinct figure lines. The Buffy-verse isn't as cohesive as many would like to think. I'm just finishing up Angel S3 and Buffy S6 at the moment. During Angel S1 and Buffy S4, there was a fair amount of cross-over...not a lot, but some. After the end of that season, however, there has been almost none. There are so many situations where the two teams could help one another out, but it simply doesn't happen. I've been disappointed because cross-over is really only an after-thought.

I agree, although I think it was important for Angel to become it's own show, independant and individual from Buffy, so that it isn't just a Buffy add-on. In a money making perspective also, it's important that Angel becomes separated so veiwers not to keen on Buffy may tune into this anyway. Personally, I prefer Angel to Buffy, as I liked that the further on the show goes the less black and white the characters' situations become. I love grey. Anyway, back on topic, another reason Buffy/Angel crossovers stopped happening was that after season 5, Buffy went to UPN and the shows were on separate networks, and getting both networks to agree on crossing characters would've been hell!

I've been disappointed because cross-over is really only an after-thought. Yes, the first two season did have many crossovers on Angel(Oz, Spike, Buffy, Faith, Buffy again, Faith again, Willow, Harmony, Willow Again), and Angel appeared on Buffy 3 more times, but after the fifth season of Buffy the two shows weren't allowed crossovers. But in the fourth and fifth seasons of Angel and seventh of Buffy there are many crossovers(Willow, Faith, Spike becomes are regular as does Harmony, and Andrew. Even Buffy kind of appears) and Angel goes back to Buffy. Angel, Spike, Faith, and Buffy are the four most action-y types so they would be considered the Main four.

You'd think if the world were going to end, one team would alert the other and request some assistance. You'd think Angel Investigations would consult Willow if a huge problem involving magic were to arise. You'd think Wesley would consult Giles in some instances as well. I could go on and on. Time and again, the producers avoid cross-overs when it would seem natural for them to occur. It's not a big deal. I realize that there are constraints for the producers. I'm just pointing out the reality of the situation.
I can buy that if you're talking specifically about this line of figures. Otherwise, I'd disagree, especially concerning Faith.

The most movement Willow does is crossing her legs - she doesn't NEED a deluxe figure.
Faith Spike Kendra Buffy Angel Potentials / Slayers Riley possibly Adam Caleb Demons
they're the ones who you see with the moves

I understood when Moe said, "I think DST were refering to the core four action characters when they said that" up top. Then we moved on to other subjects, which is the only reason I continued replying.

The main core, it is a situation of both series and it is about flexible characters, Faith and Buffy are flexible, Angel and Spike too, althought Buffy and Faith are more flexible than them. Willow, Xander and Giles are not flexible, they don't need a full articulation figure.

Sorry if this has been asked before somewhere but is there any kind of release date for the Angel and Spike deluxe figs? I want them now! Also, do you think the Angel and Spikes will carded as Angel figures? I think it may be quite likely. If so, I can only hope that the Spike varients aren't based on his appearances on Angel. He never changed his clothes. As for Angel varients, who wants a super-articulated Puppet Angel?! ;D
